Abstract

Hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar yang dinilai mengkhawatirkan pada prasiklus membuat guru sebagai peneliti ini harus membuat tindakan yang efektif dan efisien dalam rangkat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA sekolah dasar ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA siswa Sekolah Dasar Kelas IV SD Negeri 01 Kota Mukomuko semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Hasil belajar siswa baru dapat meningkat pada siklus ke tiga. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas. Metode ini bertujuan untuk perbaikan pembelajaran. Guru yang sering di kelas yang menguasai kelas dan mengetahui sintaksi dalam pembelajaran. Siklus yang dibutuhkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar sebanyak tiga siklus. Metode pembelajaran yang digunakan adalah metode penemuan terbimbing. Siswa diminta untuk mengeksplorasi pelajaran dengan bimbingan guru sebagai peneliti

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dan hasil belajar siswa di SDN 02 Air Dikit melalui pemanfaatan alat peraga IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus , setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahapan, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Pertama rancangan kegiatan pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini antara lain Rencana Perbaikan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang dirancang sesuai dengan tahap-tahap yang digunakan dalam pemanfaatan alat peraga, lembar observasi guru dalam KBM, lembar observasi siswa, Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS), serta media dan sumber belajar yang digunakan disesuaikan dengan materi yang dibahas yaitu tentang pesawat sederhana.Kedua, pelaksanaan pembelajaran sebelum pemanfaatan alat peraga diperoleh, hasil belajar siswa nilai rata-rata pada kondisi awal 53,5, siklus I sebesar 68,7, pada siklus II sebesar 90,4. Ketiga, kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran menunjukan peningkatan yang cukup baik pada kondisi awal sebelum menggunakan alat peraga presentase KG 70 %, siklus I mencapai sebesar 78% pada siklus II mencapai sebesar 93%. Abstract

This study aims to find out: (1) The use of learning journals in learning biology model design tools to increase motivation and student participation, (2) The use of learning journals in learning biology model design tools to improve mastery of concepts. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of an action planning stage in the form of compiling learning steps with the use of a learning journal in biology learning tool design models, action implementation, observation, and reflection for the next action. The research subjects were students of class XI IPA I in Mejayan State High School in 2018/2019. Data obtained through observation, interviews, questionnaires, document review, and cognitive evaluation tests. Data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis. Data validation uses the method of triangulation techniques namely tests, questionnaires, and observations. Students' mastery of concepts is measured by tests, questionnaires and observations while motivation and participation are measured by questionnaires and observations. The results of the study show that: (1) Student motivation and participation increases with the use of learning journals in the learning of biology tool design models so as to improve the quality of the learning process, (2) Mastery of student concepts increases with the use of learning journals in learning biology of tool design models. The average percentage of the measurement results of student learning motivation using questionnaires showed an increase of 69.93% in the pre-cycle, the first cycle was 78.55%, and 83.46% in the second cycle which was the final cycle in this study. The average percentage of the measurement results of student learning participation using a questionnaire also showed an increase namely from the pre cycle by 68.46% to 76.04% in the first cycle, and 80.97% at the end of the study. The use of learning journals in biology learning tool design models can improve the quality of learning so that the average percentage of students' mastery of concepts increases from 57.29% in the pre-cycle, to 71.26% in the first cycle and 88.15% at the end of the study.

Abstract

To be able to learn science learning materials properly, we need to listen, see, ask questions about it, and discuss it with others. In addition, students also need to do it, which is describing things in their own way, showing examples, trying to practice skills and doing assignments that demand the knowledge they have gained. This study uses classroom action research of three cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The target of this research is the fourth grade students of SDN 03 Mukomuko City. The data obtained in the form of learning outcomes from formative tests and observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. The results showed that student achievement increased from cycle I to cycle III namely, cycle I (64.00%), cycle II (76.00%), cycle III (88.00%). The conclusion of this study is that problem-based contextual learning can positively influence the learning outcomes of fourth grade students of SDN 03 Mukomuko City. This learning model can be used as an alternative in science learning .

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of 3rd grade students at Public Elementery School 05 Mukomuko City in Mathematics subjects two-dimentional figure and their characteristics only 3 students (38%) who have the above grades of minimum criteria (KKM). With an average student evaluation score of 48. For this reason, it is necessary to improve learning to improve student learning outcomes. One effort to improve learning is the use of appropriate learning models with subject matter. In this case the researchers used a direct learning model (direct instruction) to improve student learning outcomes. Direct Learning Model is one of the active learning models that provides opportunities for students to share ideas, consider the most appropriate answers and answer questions verbally so as to foster student confidence in expressing ideas or answers in front of the class thus is expected to improve student learning outcomes. From the learning outcomes that researchers do turn out direct learning models (direct instruction) can improve student learning outcomes, this is evidenced by an increase in student learning outcomes in each study that researchers do. Learning that researchers do begins with the prasiklus stage which is carried out on Tuesday April 25 2017 with an average student learning outcomes of 50.8, improvement of the first cycle Tuesday May 2, 2017 the average student learning outcomes to 61, and improvement of Cycle II Tuesday 09 May 2017 the average student learning outcomes 81.5. Thus it can be concluded that using the direct learning model in Mathematics can improve student learning outcomes.
