This journal will be published two-issue per year in June and December published by the Lemlitbang UHAMKA Press. Given that the journal prioritizes research reports in education, viewpoint articles in the same field will be considered for publication. HAMKA Insight welcomes research articles, literature reviews, and book reviews from various countries in the world that have high-quality on all topics related to current trends and issues in education research to publish in this journal. Submitted papers must be written in English dan Bahasa Indonesia for the initial review stage by editors and further review process by an international reviewer. Publication language of HAMKA Insight Journal is English and Indonesia. Manuscripts should be submitted in English and Bahasa Indonesia. The submitted manuscript should comply with the grammar rules and the related scientific literature. After the acceptance of the manuscript, the final copy should be submitted in English. Submitted final copies are checked by the language editors of HAMKA Insight Journal. Language editors may request a proofreading in case of insufficiency. Proofreading should be made by one of the accredited language institutions proposed below. The author(s) are responsible for the submission of the muniment.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the exploration of the use of online learning applications in learning and learning strategies. Mathematics is one of the important lessons, because in studying mathematics students are expected to not only understand the material being taught but also understand and can be applied in everyday life. Mathematical problem solving ability is one of the most important skills involved in learning mathematics. The teacher's role in learning mathematics is very important because it relates to learning strategies that can be used in the teaching and learning process. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The technique of taking the subject in this study used the Purposive Sampling Technique. Exploration of the use of online learning applications in learning mathematics and learning strategies can be done in various ways, namely by conditioning fun and interactive learning and teachers can develop learning with Project Based Learning models that which can facilitate students to investigate, solve a mathematical problem, is student center and can produce a real work or product from the results of the project.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of online learning on the creativity of class XI students in the Accounting Skills Program at SMK PGRI 3 Jakarta in the 2020/2021 academic year. The population in this study were 300 people and 35 were taken as samples. The research method used is associative quantitative research method. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data collected using a questionnaire/questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence between online learning variables on students' creativity variables of 51.4%. Thus it can be stated that online learning has a strong enough effect on the creativity of students. Therefore, the results of this study concluded that there was an effect of online learning on the creativity of class XI students of the accounting expertise program at SMK PGRI 3 Jakarta. This is also evidenced by (Siregar dan Manurung, 2020) in their research detailing "The Effect of Blended Learning on the Creativity of Prospective Teacher Students at the State University of Medan". Proving that based on testing from the posttest results, it can be concluded that the blended learning strategy assisted by SIPDA Unimed has a significant effect on student creativity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' mathematical solving abilities using polya stages in sequences and series material. This type of research uses qualitative research with the sample used is 6 students who have high, medium, and low mathematical abilities. Samples were taken randomly from a class X consisting of 35 students. The data collection used was a written test on sequences and series material, and interviews with 6 students. The results of this study are students who have high problem-solving abilities can solve problems using polya stages completely and sequentially, students with moderate problem-solving abilities can solve problems completely and sequentially, but there is a mistake in solving so that it is repeated. Meanwhile, students with low problem-solving abilities in solving problems do not do one final stage. From these results, it is hoped that the teacher will provide more explanation regarding the material.

Abstract

Abstract

Supervisi akademik merupakan salah satu cara yang digunakan oleh kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru dan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah. Observasi adalah salah satu metode yang digunakan dalam supervisi akademik untuk menilai kinerja guru dan memberikan umpan balik yang membangun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas supervisi akademik melalui observasi di SD Negeri 18 Kramat Jati. Supervisi akademik adalah proses penting dalam dunia pendidikan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Di SDN 18 Kramat Jati, supervisi akademik dilakukan oleh berbagai pihak, termasuk kepala sekolah dan guru. Artikel ini akan membahas secara rinci tentang teori supervisi akademik, temuan lapangan, serta kesimpulan dari proses supervisi tersebut. Supervisi akademik juga merupakan fungsi penting dalam program sekolah yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru. Berdasarkan Permendikbudristek Nomor 40 Tahun 2021, kepala sekolah memiliki tugas utama dalam melaksanakan manajerial, pengembangan kewirausahaan, dan supervisi kepada guru serta tenaga kependidikan. Supervisi ini meliputi pra observasi, observasi, dan pasca observasi untuk memastikan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

Kurikulum adalah seperangkat rencana dan pengaturan mengenai tujuan, isi dan bahan pembelajaran serta metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran sebagai pedoman untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan tertentu. Secara umum Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Al Kahfi tetap menggunakan dua kurikulum di sekolahnya. Kedua kurikulum tersebut adalah kurikulum 2013 yang digunakan di kelas 3 dan 6, serta kurikulum merdeka yang digunakan di kelas 1, 2, 4, dan 5. Kurikulum 2013 yang diterapkan di sekolah dasar ini mulai tahun 2014. hingga tahun 2024, kemudian kurikulum merdeka dilaksanakan pada tahun 2023 hingga saat ini. Tujuan penggunaan kurikulum di sekolah dasar merupakan acuan peraturan pertama dalam dunia pendidikan Indonesia. Peneliti melakukan pendekatan terhadap sekolah dasar ini melalui metode wawancara yang ditujukan kepada wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum dan guru kelas tinggi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan Kurikulum International Baccalaureate (IB) pada tingkat Primary Years Programme (PYP) di Sekolah Tunas Muda. Penelitian bertujuan untuk memahami bagaimana kurikulum IB PYP diimplementasikan, serta tantangan dan dampak yang muncul dari penerapannya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum IB PYP di Sekolah Tunas Muda diterapkan dengan pendekatan yang holistik dan berfokus pada pengembangan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan pemahaman global. Namun, tantangan yang dihadapi termasuk adaptasi guru terhadap metode pengajaran baru dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan kurikulum ini memiliki dampak positif terhadap perkembangan akademik dan karakter siswa.

Abstract

Pengembangan teknologi dalam pendidikan dasar memiliki peran penting dalam menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang lebih interaktif, adaptif, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman. Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di Indonesia memberikan kebebasan kepada pendidik untuk menyesuaikan metode pembelajaran sekaligus menguatkan profil Pelajar Pancasila, yang mencakup karakter kritis, inovatif, dan berwawasan kebangsaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan model implementasi teknologi berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka untuk memperkuat profil Pelajar Pancasila di sekolah dasar. Melalui metode campuran, penelitian ini melibatkan 200 siswa dan 20 guru dari 10 sekolah dan menemukan bahwa teknologi seperti augmented reality dan pembelajaran berbasis proyek digital efektif dalam mendukung penguatan karakter siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menawarkan panduan praktis bagi pendidik dan pembuat kebijakan dalam merancang program pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang relevan dengan tujuan penguatan karakter, sekaligus menyiapkan siswa menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan disrupsi digital.   The development of technology in primary education plays a crucial role in creating a more interactive, adaptive, and relevant learning experience that aligns with the needs of the times. The implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) in Indonesia provides educators with the freedom to tailor teaching methods while also strengthening the profile of Pelajar Pancasila (Pancasila Students), which encompasses critical thinking, innovation, and a strong sense of national identity. This research aims to develop a technology-based implementation model rooted in the Kurikulum Merdeka to enhance the Pelajar Pancasila profile in primary schools. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study involved 200 students and 20 teachers from 10 schools, and it found that technologies such as augmented reality and digital project-based learning were effective in supporting the reinforcement of student character. The findings of this research offer practical guidance for educators and policymakers in designing technology-based learning programs that are relevant to the goal of character strengthening, while also preparing students to face the challenges of globalization and digital disruption

Abstract

Kurikulum adalah sebuah pengaturan dalam dunia pendidikan yang mengatur tujuan pembelajaran, isi dan materi, serta pedoman pencapaian pendidikan. Sekolah di Indonesia menggunakan kurikulum yang berbedabeda. Kurikulum nasional yang terdiri dar kurikulum merdeka, dan kurikulum 2013. Sedangkan kurikulum internasional menggunakan kurikulum Cambridge dan lainnya. Dalam penelitian ini, sekolah yang dijadikan tempat observasi menggunakan kolaborasi antara kurikulum nasional dan juga kurikulum Cambridge, namun pada artikel ini akan lebih terfokus pada pengimplementasian kurikulum Cambridge. Penelitian ini melalui metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengambilan data yaitu teknik triangulasi. Penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa, kurikulum Cambridge merupakan kurikulum internasional yang sangat populer untuk diterapkan diberbagai sekolah baik di Indonesia maupun di negara lainnya. Kelebihan kurikulum mampu membuat peserta didik mengembangkan keterampilan yang dimiliki serta pemahaman mengenai matematika, sains dan juga bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

Pendidikan sebagai sarana pengembangan potensi tidak dapat terlaksana tanpa adanya kurikulum. indonesia telah menerapkan berbagai perubahan kurikulum, yang menonjol adalah dari kurikulum 2013 ke kurikulum merdeka. masih terdapat permasalahan atau kesulitan dalam pelaksanaanya, mulai dari penyusunan RPP yang rumit, banyaknya administrasi dalam penyusunan penilaian, serta kompetensi yang terbatas. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana sekolah dapat menggunakan unsur pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam kurikulum merdeka dan memberikan pedoman cara mengajar siswa sesuai dengan minat, kapasistas dan potensinya. penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. temuan studi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa proses perubahan kurikulum tersebut kemungkinan besar berdampak pada kurikulum di masa depan, seperti proyek dan perubahan profil siswa. diawali dengan kegaiatan sosialisasi dan diakhiri dengan penyelenggaraan pendidikan karakter profil pancasila, memberikan sarana bagi peserta didik untuk menerapkan ilmu dalam kehidupan sehari-hari melalu pembelajaran yang relevan dan interaktif.
