Jurnal Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam (ISSN 2088-9992; E-ISSN2549-8738) accredited Sinta 5 Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, is an academic journal that emphasizes on actual issues related to Islamic guidance and counseling. Journal of Counseling Religi Journal of Islamic Counseling Guidance is published twice a year (once every six months, issued in June and December) by the Program Studi Bimbingan dan Konseling Islam Fakultas Dakwah dan Komunikasi Islam Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Ampel Surabaya is valid since the first Journal of Vol.1, No 1, June 2011. Abstract

Dalam menjawab permasalahan tersebut, peneliti ini mnggunakan metode Kualitatif, dalam menganalisa pelatihan keterapilan komunikasi konseling dalam meningkatkan komunikasi seorang terapis akupunktur di Klinik Satelit Batra Kalimantan Gresik data yang di gunakan berupa hasil wawancara dan observasi kepada seorang terapis yaitu orang yang memberikan pengobatan akupunktur atau tusuk jarum, dengan meningkatkan gaya komunikasinya seperti sifat yang dimilikinya yaitu sifat kurang terbuka dengan pasiennya seperti yang disajikan dalam bab penyajian data dan analisis data. Dalam penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa terdapat 19 teknik keterampilan komunikasi konseling  yang di kenalkan konselor kepada klien / terapis akupunktur. Dalam penelitian ini proses konseling menggunakan wawancara verbaltime, yang mencatat percakapan anara konselor dengan klien / terapis akupunktur secara verbal maupun nonverbal, kemudian keberhasilan keterampilan komunikasi konseling klien atau terapis tersebut, hasilnya dari 19 teknik yang di ajarkan konselor, maka klien /terapiskupuktur mampu melakukan 10 teknik. Dan dilakukan sesuai kebutuhan yang diinginkan.

Abstract

The purpose for this research is to know the effectiveness of game techniques to improve self-adjustment among 4th Graders in Taruna Bakti Elementary School year 2014-2015. The method used was a quasi experiment using a pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group design with a quantitative approach. The population for this research consists of 103 students, which consists of 22 participants were selected to be samples of this research, in which 11 were chosen to be part of the experimental group and the other 11 were chosen to be part of the control group. The instrument used to analyze was in the form of a questionnaire which was adopted from Rosidah (2013) from the social adjustment theory according to Schneiders, measuring 5 aspects of self adjustment that is : (1) the ability to form a bond of friendship with friends at school; (2) the ability to have a respectable behavior before teachers, the principal, and other school staff; (3) active to participate in school activities; (4) behave respectably and able to receive regulations in school; (5) and to help the school achieve its goals. The data were the analyzed by using paired t-test on SPSS 17.0 for windows program. The result indicates that the game technique was effective to improve students’ self-adjustment. It is recommended for principals, tutors, counselors, as well as future researchers.

Abstract

This research based on phenomenon an individual who had a lower level of awareness, felt anxious, insecure, always blaming others, less responsible and did not have the commitment to achieve the goals of their life. This study aimed to increase student’s self awareness through group guidance with role playing techniques. This research used a quantitative approach with quasi-experimental method pretest-posttest design non equivalent. Data was collected by self awareness questionnaires based on theory of Thomas Shelley Duval, Paul Silvia dan Neal Lalwani (2001) . Study participants were 30 students of XIIth grade  High School Laboratorium Percontohan UPI who had indicates lower self awareness categories and divided into experimental group  (8 M : 8 F) and  control group (7 M : 7 F). The research samples was done by using non probability sampling and used difference between two means Wilcoxon and Man Whitney technique analysis. The result showed that group guidance with role playing technique was effective to increase student’s self-awareness, because p value 0,002 < 0,05 (?).

Abstract

The motivation to achieve among students from low economic status is low and frequently at a concerning level. To increase their motivation to achieve, an appropriate learning model can be implemented. One of the learning models that can increase the motivation to achieve is ARCS learning model. The research aims to increase the motivation to achieve among students from low economic status and to find the difference in the levels of motivation between students from low economic status treated and not treated with ARCS learning model. The research employed a quasi-experimental design. It was conducted by taking 60 twelfth grade students of SMA (Senior High School) Daarul Ilmi Cipeundey as the sample, distributing them into experimental and control classes, with a number of 30 students for each class. The twelfth grade students in the experimental class were treated with ARCS learning model, and those in the control class were not treated with ARCS learning model. The results of t-test showed that tcount 9.572 > ttable 2.002 at the significance level of 0.000 < 0.05; hence, H0 was rejected, and Ha was accepted. This value means that there was a significant difference in the gain scores between the experimental class and the control class. Based on these results, the researcher recommends that training on ARCS model should be given to teachers, and future researchers are recommended to take a larger sample size.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to examine the effectiveness of Parenting Skill Training Program to increase understanding of parents about parenting style. Research method used was pre-experiment with pre test – post test design.  Sample of Research was parents of the third class students of MI Husainiyah Pamoyanan, Cicalengka. Chi-Square was used in data analysing to determine the significance of increase understanding of parents about parenting style. The result shows that Parenting Skill Training Programs effectively increased understanding of parents about parenting style. The study offers recommendations for the following parties: First, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Islamic Elementary) to be able to implement the program as a serviceguidance for parents. Second, the Guidance and Counseling  Departement and Elementary School Teachers Training Departement of Indonesia university of education need to consider parenting skill studies in relevant subjects. Third, other researchers recommended to extend research variabels and to use varied research methods and design.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan rehabilitasi di pesantren dzikrussyifa’ asma’ berojomusti terdapat beberapa kegiatan dan pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam proses rehabilitasi antara lain: mandi taubat, shalat, dzikir, qiyam al-lail, terapi gurah, terapi bekam, sedangkan metode pembentukan akhlak pada santri narkoba diantaranya: keteladanan, ceramah dan kedisiplinanPelaksanaan rehabilitasi bagi santri narkoba tidak terlepas dari faktor pendukung: kesungguhan santri dalam mengikuti dan mentaati peraturan pesantren, hubungan baik antar santri, dan pengetahuan agama santri sebelum masuk pesantren. Sedangkan faktor penghambat: ketidakseriusan santri dalam mengikuti proses terapi di pesantren, latarbelakang santri yang berbeda-beda sehingga kadang terjadi kesalahpahaman antar santri, minimnya tenaga pembantu di pesantren menjadikan proses rehabilitasi kurang maksimal.Dapat disimpulkan bawasannya bimbingan dan konseling Islam di pesantren dzikrussyifa’ asma’ berojomusti menggunakan teknik directive counseling melihat peran aktif pengasuh dalam proses rehabilitasi.

Abstract

This written examine what’s deviation type’s ari happening at Al-Jihad orpharage in Surabaya. How carrying out of guidance process and conseling to resist behaviour deviation of orpharage childern’s at Al-Jihad and How guidance result and conseling to resist behaviour deviation of orpharage childern’s at Al-Jihad. Defiation type’s which often happening are not discipline / not praying together, lie, ghoshob, and thief. Carrying out of guidence process throught a few measure’s, First, making organization struktur where one of orpharage childern’s become program guarantor.  Second, making regulations and punishment for fender. That measure’s are shaped throught group conseling to solve deviation problem’s are happening at orpharage. The result show that clien experience attitude movement be better than before conseling process have not create. This successful is ruled by 75% of percentage standard qualitative test and is categoried enough successful.

Abstract

This research aimed to produce effectiveness of social guidance for developing adolescence  assertive behavior.  The method of research used quasi-experimental research design  with non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sample in this study were adolescence of Child Social Welfare Institution (LKSA) Nugraha 2015, aged 15-17 years, totaling 28 adolescents (15 adolescencents in the experimental class and 13 adolescencents in control class). Data was collected by assertiveness instrument, arranged on the aspects of thought, feeling, and action. The results showed social guidance effective to develop adolescence assertive behavior, increased of ten indicators of self respect and respect for others, positive thinking, responsible for the opinions expressed, open to change, confidence, self esteem, self-acceptance, listening to others, eye contact, give and receive feedback, indicators were not significant  for empathy, open body posture, and participate in the association. Recommendations showed  for guidance and counseling study program, child social welfare institution (LKSA) and further research.

Abstract

Islamic Parenting in minority region ( The way of Islamic family to teach and maintain in the member of the family in the center of Semarapura Tengah, Klungkung – Bali). There two focuses in this research (1) How the way the process of to Islamic Parenting in minority region ( The way of Islamic family to teach and maintain in the member of the family in the center of Semarapura Tengah, Klungkung – Bali)? (2) How the result of Islamic Parenting in minority region ( The way of Islamic family to teach and maintain in the member of the family in the center of Semarapura Tengah, Klungkung – Bali)? The researcher uses qualitative descriptive method to answers the research problem in the following above. The aim of this method is to express the faith of the member in minority region. The data that use in this research derived from observation and documentation that serving in chapter presentation and analyzing data. Subject of this research was derived from the Muslim family in center of Semarapura Tengah, Klungkung – Bali. The previous step is analyzing data that already found and collected to answer the research problem. The process of Islamic Parenting in minority region, the parents not only give advice and surveillance but also show good behavior as the role modal for their children. The parents also teach moral value of Islam and also strength relationship and harmonization. The results of the process Islamic Parenting in minority region are application of the parents to obey the rule of the God that become moral value of islam that teach start from childhood also in their society as a harmony life without any differences from the race, region  or religion, and etc.
