Abstract

Employee recruitment is a critical aspect of human resource management that significantly influences the success and sustainability of a company. Communion Coffee Brewer, a company in the food and beverage industry, faces challenges in effectively recruiting employees to ensure alignment with company needs and culture. To address this, the implementation of Decision Support System (DSS) using the SMART Methodology proves to be a relevant solution. This method allows for objective evaluation based on predefined criteria while streamlining the decision-making process. By integrating this technology, Communion Coffee Brewer can enhance efficiency and effectiveness in recruitment, support sustainable company growth, and strengthen its long-term operations.

Abstract

Skin cancer has high incidence and fatality rates, making accurate and rapid detection crucial. This study developed a web-based skin cancer detection system using YOLOv8. The model detects seven types of skin cancer using a dataset of 17.366 annotated images. Methods included data collection, pre-processing, augmentation, model training, and performance evaluation using precision, recall, and mean Average Precision (mAP). Results show that the YOLOv8 model achieved a precision of 0.975 and a recall of 0.969. Evaluation with a confusion matrix demonstrated strong detection capabilities. A web interface was developed to allow users to upload images and view detection results in real-time. The YOLOv8-based skin cancer detection system provides accurate results and can be used as a tool for early diagnosis.

Abstract

The education sector must utilize the latest technology in the classroom in the era of globalization and rapid advances in information technology. Using text, graphics, audio, and video together, interactive learning materials have been proven to increase student understanding and engagement. Kindergarten (TK) is a place where children are introduced to the environment and the basic principles of learning. Introducing children to various types of transportation is believed to be very important because it is the first step in helping them broaden their horizons and become familiar with the types of transportation in their environment. Apart from that, children are very interested in and liked transportation, so it must be packaged attractively so that it can arouse their curiosity in learning.

Abstract

Technology is developing so quickly that it may have a significant impact on the way teaching and learning are done. Interactive multimedia-based learning materials play an important role in the teaching and learning process. The availability of educational media can make teaching easier for teachers and increase students' learning motivation. This research focuses on designing multimedia-based interactive learning media for introducing marine animals. Researchers found the problem that the learning process at TK BA Aisyiyah Grogol 2 still uses the lecture method and does not use technology. This causes students' interest in learning to decrease. The method applied in designing this learning media is the ADDIE method. The result of this research is an interactive learning media design that uses multimedia. It is hoped that this learning media can increase students' interest in learning and the learning process will become easier and more effective.

Abstract

Technology is currently developing at a very fast pace. The teaching and learning process in the field of education is greatly impacted by the ever-improving technology advancements. In order to spark students' interest in studying, a lot of schools and teachers are currently utilizing technology tools like interactive learning media. In order to increase students' enthusiasm in learning, teachers' inventiveness is equally crucial. Learning media is a crucial component that may draw students in and aid in their pursuit of the best possible learning outcomes. Engaging media helps pupils comprehend the lessons that are being taught. Therefore, the goal of creating interactive learning materials to present the solar system to pupils is to enable them to view the actual things rather than only envision them.

Abstract

In appearance, hair is an important aspect. In this modern era, hairstyles are becoming more and more varied. So, a lot of teenage men have trouble determining a suitable hairstyle. One factor in determining hairstyles is the shape of their faces. Often, teenagers don't match the haircut they've chosen. It can make you feel less confident and feel less in terms of appearance. Because it requires a system to recognize the shape of the face and determine the appropriate hairstyle. The most common method of grouping is the CNN method. In this study, the recommended hairstyles of male hair models and facial shapes detected are Oval, Box, Long Square, and Round. This study has accuracy with an average presentation of 85%.

Abstract

Item-based collaborative filtering is a popular technique in recommendation systems that aims to provide suggestions for films to watch or services to users based on similarities between items. In this approach, the similarity between items is calculated using metrics such as cosine similarity, allowing the prediction of user preferences for items that have never been rated. This research implements Item-based collaborative filtering using datasets from Kaggle. Experimental results show that the resulting model is able to provide recommendations with significant improvements in evaluation metrics such as Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 3.05 and 3.26. This shows that the smaller the value, the better.

Abstract

The application "Android-Based World State Flag Recognition" aims to provide users with information about the flags of countries around the world. The app is designed with a great interface and uses image recognition technology to identify flags. Users can explore flags, get brief historical information, and improve their knowledge of the visual aspects of the country's identity. The app uses up-to-date online resources to ensure the accuracy and relevance of flag information. The search feature allows users to quickly find the flag of a particular country. In addition, the app provides an exam mode to test the user's knowledge with a short quiz about flags. With the integration of Android technology, users can access this application easily on various mobile devices. The main goal is to provide an interactive and fun learning experience around the visual identity of the countries of the world.

Abstract

Mammals are animals with the characteristics of breastfeeding, sweating, and having four limbs such as four feet, a pair of feet and hands, or a pair of wings and feet. In some kindergartens, there is an obstacle where the school targets children from disadvantaged families so that carrying out activities outside the classroom which definitely requires a lot of funds will be difficult to carry out. As technology progresses, there is technology that can help children meet their learning needs and visualizations that are very interesting to use, such as Augmented Reality.The application of augmented reality was created to help children learn to recognize mammals without needing to do activities outside of school. The implementation is carried out using the marker based tracking method accompanied by design tools using UML. The program is made in the form of an Android smartphone application.The results of this application can show mammals in three-dimensional form that is close to their original form. This will help students recognize mammals in more detail, from those that are easy to find to those that are difficult to find or even dangerous to approach.

Abstract

The effectiveness of snort rules in detecting network attacks is still a question that needs further research. Although snort rules have been developed and updated regularly, network attacks also continue to evolve and may have patterns that have not been detected by existing snort rules. The main objective is to develop and analyze the effectiveness of snort rules in detecting attack patterns on the network. Benefits Provides a better understanding of the effectiveness of snort rules in detecting network attacks. The result of this research is that the development of snort rules that have been carried out is able to filter attack patterns that were previously undetectable such as DDoS attacks and is able to provide telegram notifications.
