Abstract

Patients at ITS Medical Center are the main subject of the healthcare business process. they tend to expect satisfactory service especially when ITS Medical Center serves as a first-rate health facility for BPJS. At the time of this research pre-conducted, their business process has not been visually described in the Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), which makes management cannot foresee the efficient business process. Previous research on the implementation of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) in the Emergency Department shows the possibility to apply VSM in a clinic. Therefore, we decided to evaluate the existing business processes by gathering information from the Event Log Review and conducting employee interviews. To propose future business processes, we followed the Lean Manufacturing practice from Toyota always looks at product value from the customer's point of view. The evaluation consists of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) between four actors; doctor, patients, medical records department, and pharmacy. Continued picturing it using VSM using criteria of ineffectiveness from Lean Manufacturing. ITS Medical Center's current VSM shows three areas of opportunities for improvement consisting of Movement, Transportation, and Extra Process. Whereas its future VSM finding results from the comparison of the current with the future business process, predicted that service time can be faster by a ratio of 8%, non-value-added time is reduced by 15%, and at the end of the day, average inefficiency is reduced by 27.54%. With more than quarterly efficiency can be decision support for new business model improvement and implementation.

Abstract

The world today has a rapidly growing human population whose daily needs are certainly increasing. Supermarket is a place to fulfill daily needs. When going to the supermarket, we have to spend a lot of time both shopping and also queuing at the cashier. This turns out to be a problem for customers because it can take up customers' time which is also experienced by one of the largest supermarkets, namely Hypermart. Not only a problem for customers, but it can also create a threat to Hypermart companies. However, with advances in technology and information systems, the world is growing to adapt to current conditions, namely by improvising. The improvisation carried out in this research is the payment transaction business process at Hypermart, namely by implementing the Self-CheckOut system by replacing the old trolley with a "Hyper Smart Cart" as an improvisation which will certainly answer all existing problems.

Abstract

The era of globalization has produced transformational innovations and has the potential to drive innovation, productivity, and digital transformation. Digital transformation is an important issue and is a habit that must be applied in all industrial sectors. The implementation of digital transformation will provide competencies and skills that can adapt to various changes, especially those related to digital transformation. One sector that must immediately carry out digital transformation is the education sector. For this reason, the education sector absolutely requires human resource development as a way to improve abilities and skills. Based on literature studies, it has been obtained that the steps of the Waterfall method. The results obtained from the research are software development using the Waterfall method and the Laravel framework according to predetermined stages. At this stage, several components that are needed in making the system and restrictions in making the system will be explained, including the following: Software Requirements, Activity Diagram, and System Results. This attendance website is useful for teachers to be able to take attendance of their students online, this attendance website can recap attendance data automatically in PDF form which of course can facilitate the work of teachers, and with this attendance website, students and parents can monitor attendance data managed by teachers.

Abstract

The ease of providing information services is one aspect of public services that must be fulfilled by higher education institutions. However, this requires quite a bit of resources to handle the large number of requests for information availability. Virtual assistants can be the answer to providing information easily and quickly. Virtual assistants have been widely used by various institutions to provide information services that are fast and can be accessed at any time. This study was conducted to study what types of methods and approaches can be applied to the development of virtual assistants in Indonesia. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review approach. A review was carried out on 13 selected articles that discussed the application of virtual assistants in higher education in Indonesia. As a result, virtual assistants can be applied in various forms with various development method approaches. In addition, it was also found that all academic service information provision and academic operational support owned by higher education institutions can be assisted by virtual assistants

Abstract

In developing a business, an inventory management process is needed. Inventory management is the activity of managing inventory items, so that the transaction process in a business remains stable. Safety stock and minimum stock are some examples of methods commonly used for inventory management activities. This method is then applied to a jewelry buying and selling information system, which can calculate the safety stock and minimum stock values for Mutiara Lombok Sirasaga MSMEs. This research aims to digitize the transaction process at Mutiara Lombok Sirasaga MSMEs, as well as helping business owners to know what safe supplies they need to have. The result of this research is a buying and selling information system, which can calculate the safety stock value and minimum stock value for each product. The safety stock and minimum stock values can be used as a reference to simplify the product reorder planning process.

Abstract

Gedung pertemuan adalah suatu bangunan yang dibangun khusus yang digunakan untuk menjadi tempat diselanggarakannya berbagai jenis acara yang memungkinkan melibatkan orang banyak.  Aktivitas penyewaan gedung pertemuan banyak memberikan manfaat kepada penyewa karena selain menyediakan tempat yang memadai, biasanya didukung dengan fasilitas yang disediakan oleh pengelola gedung. Namun sayangnya proses penyewaan masih tergolong rumit karena terdapat beberapa kendala dan belum efisien. Maka dari itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan perancangan desain antarmuka aplikasi penyewaan gedung pertemuan yang memiliki nilai kegunaan yang baik. Penelitian ini membahas desain antarmuka aplikasi penyewaan gedung pertemuan berbasis mobile menggunakan metode Design Thinking, yang berfokus pada pemahaman pengguna dan redefinisi masalah untuk menemukan strategi dan solusi inovatif. Desain diuji dengan dua jenis pengujian yaitu usability testing melalui platform Maze.co yang mendapatkan nilai kegunaan 84 untuk penyewa dan 86 untuk pengelola, serta system usability scale (SUS) yang mendapatkan nilai 85 (good dan acceptable).

Abstract

In response to the evolving challenges in educational institutions, the Ministry of Education and Culture emphasizes the crucial role of effective information systems in achieving optimal educational objectives. This study introduces the Student Learning Achievement Information System (SIMCPM) as a strategic solution for systematically monitoring and evaluating student performance. The research explores the implementation of SIMCPM, focusing on its role in functional testing within educational environments. With a user-centric approach, the study investigates how SIMCPM can be integrated as an innovative tool for monitoring student learning achievements, specifically in displaying grade and attendance data. The methodology outlines the comprehensive approach to SIMCPM's development, emphasizing the use of Laravel 8 for back-end infrastructure and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for UI/UX development. Data visualization development is highlighted, showcasing the integration of ApexCharts.JS for effective communication of educational metrics. Functionality testing ensures the reliability of the system, encompassing testing scenarios, integration testing, load and performance testing, and mobile and tablet functional testing. Results and discussion present the outcomes of SIMCPM's implementation, including data simulation, dashboard rendering, and functionality testing. The study introduces dashboard features for students, lecturers, and the Head of Study Program, emphasizing speed, efficiency, and data visualization quality. Functionality testing results confirm the robustness of the system. The subsequent section interprets the results, addressing implications, strengths, limitations, and potential improvements in the SIMCPM system. The conclusion recommends continuous testing with real-time data, user feedback integration, and potential enhancements such as predictive analytics and personalized learning recommendations to ensure sustained effectiveness in supporting academic processes. Overall, SIMCPM emerges as a promising tool for efficient academic management, subject to continuous refinement and innovation.

Abstract

The banking company, which is one of the driving factors of economic growth in the country, is continuously innovating for its customers by leveraging technological advancements. This development is also utilized by Bank BPD Bali through the launch of BPD Bali Mobile Banking. When developing this, considering the functionality, usability, needs, and user comfort of the application is crucial, including creating a good and attractive UI/UX design to ensure user satisfaction. In the evaluation of BPD Bali's mobile banking, the obtained SUS score is 57.19. Therefore, a redesign of BPD Bali's mobile banking using Design Thinking is necessary. This method allows for true empathy with the target users and effectively developing solutions for user problems and needs. By going through 5 stages, Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test, the final result obtained is a prototype recommendation, which has been tested using SUS. In the prototype testing, a SUS score of 79.69 was obtained, which can be interpreted as users being able to accept the prototype recommendation.

Abstract

The role of information systems in the form of application programs has now developed and extended to all fields, one of which is the field of education. The use of applications will be needed for the process of implementing the EPT (English Proficiency Test). The use of applications in the EPT process will provide many advantages such as ease of checking test questions, ease of managing test data, test data that is directly integrated with the database, and ease of taking tests. However, the EPT process in the Language Center Technical Implementation Unit of UPN "Veteran" East Java still uses a manual process and is less effective. So a solution is made in the form of an EPT application. This application will be built using the Laravel framework which is open source and strong server security to be able to optimize web-based applications.

Abstract

Dibalik berkembangnya teknologi yang semakin maju dan cepat, masih terdapat yang menggunakan cara tradisional dalam penyampaian informasi. Sebagai contohnya yaitu kegiatan surat menyurat seperti pembuatan surat pemberitahuan, surat undangan, atau surat edaran yang masih banyak dilakukan salah satunya pada instansi. Pada SMA Muhammadiyah 7 Surabaya, pengelolaan surat masih menggunakan cara manual dimana staf tata usaha mencatat rincian surat di buku besar kemudian menyimpan surat di lemari pengarsipan. Begitupun ketika ada surat keluar tidak selalu diarsipkan, dokumen hanya disimpan dalam komputer saja. Dengan adanya beberapa masalah tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sistem informasi surat menyurat elektronik dengan tanda tangan digital menggunakan algoritma Rivest Shamir Adleman berbasis website untuk dapat membantu dalam mengelola surat yang ada, seperti membuat surat dan mengarsipkannya. Sistem informasi surat menyurat elektronik dirancang menggunakan metode Waterfall. Sistem ini akan dibangun menggunakan framework CodeIgniter dan pengujian menggunakan metode Black-box Testing. Dengan adanya Sistem Informasi Surat Menyurat ini bisa membantu bagian tata usaha dalam hal mengelola surat menyurat yang ada menjadi lebih mudah dan efisien. Bagian tata usaha hanya perlu mengisi data yang diperlukan saat mengarsipkan ataupun membuat surat keluar, kemudian dapat langsung ditandatangi oleh kepala sekolah secara digital jika diperlukan.
