Abstract

Information systems play an important role in improving efficiency and accuracy in data management, especially for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Gubug Alit MSME still uses a manual recording system for managing sales data and transaction reports, which may lead to recording errors, data loss, and delays in report preparation. This study aims to design and develop a web-based sales data and transaction reporting information system to support more effective and efficient financial management. The methods used include system requirements analysis, system design, and implementation using the Laravel framework with a MySQL database. The result of this study is an information system equipped with user authentication, dashboard, category management, budgeting, transaction recording, and financial reporting features that can be exported into PDF and Excel formats. This system improves the speed, accuracy, and convenience of managing sales data and generating transaction reports at Gubug Alit MSME.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze production cost estimation to improve efficiency in Indonesian Automotive Companies using the Activity Based Costing (ABC) method with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The main problem in this study is the low accuracy of production cost estimation which causes waste and reduces operational efficiency. The research method was conducted by reviewing 20 relevant national and international journals for the period 2020–2025. The results show that the Activity Based Costing (ABC) method is able to improve the accuracy of cost estimation compared to traditional methods such as Full Costing because it allocates costs based on activities. The application of this method has been proven to reduce production costs by 15% and increase production efficiency from 70% to 90%. In addition, the use of technology such as Artificial Intelligence also has the potential to improve the accuracy of cost estimation. Thus, choosing the right cost estimation method has a significant impact on improving the company's operational efficiency

Abstract

This study applies a transportation algorithm to minimize distribution costs for MSMEs as Broiler Chicken Suppliers through a case study of product distribution to several customer locations. The data used include the supply capacity of three warehouses, customer demand, and shipping costs per kilogram calculated based on the operational costs of pick-up vehicles. This study aims to compare the efficiency of the Northwest Corner (NWC), Least Cost (LC), and Vogel's Approximation Method (VAM) methods in determining distribution allocation with minimum costs. The calculation results show that the Northwest Corner method produces a total distribution cost of Rp114,180, while the Least Cost and Vogel's Approximation Method produce a lower distribution cost of Rp110,300. Thus, the LC and VAM methods are more efficient than the NWC method in solving the transportation problem in this case study. Based on the analysis results, the Vogel's Approximation Method (VAM) was chosen as the best solution because in addition to producing minimum distribution costs, this method also considers the penalty value so that the initial solution obtained is closer to the optimal condition. This research is expected to be a reference for MSMEs in determining more effective and efficient distribution strategies

Abstract

The selection of thinner raw material suppliers at CV Tiga Jago needs to be done objectively because procurement decisions are not only influenced by price, but also quality, delivery, stock, payment, and service. This study aims to build a web-based Decision Support System to determine the criteria weights and generate the best supplier recommendations for each thinner raw material. The study uses a quantitative approach with the development of a web-based system through the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and evaluation. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method for criteria weighting and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution for supplier ranking. The AHP results show that quality has the highest weight of 0.3794, followed by price 0.2488, delivery 0.1604, stock 0.1024, payment 0.0655, and service 0.0434, with a Consistency Ratio of 0.0199. The TOPSIS results show that the best suppliers are different for each raw material. The system built is capable of managing data, performing AHP-TOPSIS calculations, displaying rankings, graphs, and reports, so that it can help the supplier selection process in a more measurable and documented manner

Abstract

The low interest of high school students in continuing their education to college is influenced by various internal and external factors that have complex relationships. This study aims to identify patterns of factors causing low student interest and determine the strength of the relationship between factors using the Association Rule Mining (Apriori) algorithm. This study uses a quantitative approach with data mining methods. The study population was high school students who were at the decision-making stage of continuing their education to college, while the research sample was students who completed the research questionnaire. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire with eight indicators including interest in continuing their education, family economic conditions, academic ability, parental support, college information, social environment, personal motivation, and access to college. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of pre-processing, data transformation, formation of frequent itemsets, and evaluation of association rules based on support, confidence, and lift values. The results of the study indicate that the developed web-based application is able to generate frequent itemsets and association rules that describe the relationship between factors causing low student interest in continuing their education. The conclusion of this study shows that the Apriori algorithm can be used as a method to support educational decision-making by identifying dominant factors related to students' interest in continuing their education to college

Abstract

The development of information technology increases the need for digital data protection against the risk of wiretapping, alteration, and unauthorized access. Steganography is one solution by hiding messages in digital images without significantly changing the visual appearance. This study aims to implement the Least Significant Bit (LSB) and Pixel Value Differencing (PVD) methods in the process of embedding and extracting SQL files in digital images and to compare the image quality and integrity of the resulting messages. This study uses an applied research type with a system implementation method. The research population is a digital image as a steganography medium, while the sample consists of 50 digital images in PNG and BMP formats and SQL files as secret messages. The research instrument is a web-based steganography application developed using Python and Streamlit. Data analysis was carried out through functional testing of the embedding and extraction processes, message integrity evaluation, and image quality measurement using Mean Square Error (MSE) and Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR). The results show that both methods produce high-quality stego images as indicated by high PSNR and low MSE values. The LSB method maintained message integrity throughout the test, while PVD still experienced character changes in some of the extracted results. It was concluded that the LSB method is more reliable than PVD for embedding SQL files into digital images because it is able to maintain image quality while preserving message integrity

Abstract

The growth of skincare products increases the need for easily accessible information regarding the safety of active ingredient combinations based on skin conditions. This study aims to develop an expert system that provides recommendations for the safety of active ingredient combinations based on the user's skin condition. The study used a system development method with a Rule-Based System approach and the Forward Chaining inference method. The study did not use conventional human populations and samples, but rather used peer-reviewed literature data from 2022–2025 and expert validation. The research instrument consisted of 25 condition rules covering six active ingredients, five skin conditions, and 15 unique active ingredient pairs. Data analysis was carried out through content analysis and expert validation using a four-level scale. The results showed that the system was able to generate recommendations in three categories: Recommended, Caution, and Not Recommended. Black Box testing showed that the authentication, knowledge base management, consultation, combination analysis, and prediction history functions ran as needed. In conclusion, the developed system can be used as an initial consultation medium to provide structured and easily accessible information on active ingredient safety

Abstract

Background:Patient complaints at Hidayah General Hospital, Boyolali, are still handled through direct submissions, WhatsApp, and Google Reviews, which poses a risk of data loss and difficulty in monitoring follow-up. Objective: This study aims to build a website-based patient complaint information system. Method: The study used a descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach. The subjects were Public Relations and Training officers. The instruments were observation and interview guidelines, while data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and document review. Data were analyzed descriptively. The system was developed using the Systems Development Life Cycle with the Waterfall model. Result: The system provides complaint submission features, automatic complaint tickets, status tracking, responses and follow-ups, satisfaction surveys, statistics, and report printing. Conclusion: The developed system supports more structured patient complaint management and facilitates monitoring of complaint follow-up, thereby supporting hospital service management.

Abstract

Runway lighting is a critical facility that supports the safety and reliability of airport operations, particularly during nighttime operations and adverse weather conditions with limited visibility. This study aims to design and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based current and voltage monitoring system as an indicator of disturbances in a runway edge light prototype. The proposed system utilizes an ACS712 current sensor, a ZMPT101B voltage sensor, an ESP32 microcontroller, a 16x4 LCD display, and the Blynk platform. The monitored parameters include current and voltage, which are processed by the ESP32 and transmitted via a Wi-Fi network for real-time monitoring. The test results show that the prototype successfully measured voltage values ranging from 203 V to 220.5 V and current values ranging from 1.90 A to 2.03 A, with a monitoring success rate of 100%. The system successfully identified normal conditions, undervoltage, overcurrent, and electrical circuit interruption based on predefined thresholds of 209–231 V for normal voltage and 1.8–2.0 A for normal current. Data transmission to the Blynk dashboard achieved a 100% success rate with an average delay of 1.22 seconds. The developed prototype demonstrates the feasibility of real-time electrical parameter monitoring and preliminary disturbance indication for runway edge light models under laboratory testing conditions.
