Abstract

The Thematic Village Program is a local government strategy to foster village self-reliance by empowering Women Farmer Groups (Kelompok Perempuan Tani/KWT), yet its outcomes vary considerably across localities. This study measures and compares the effectiveness of the Thematic Village Program implemented by the KWT of Sodong Village and the KWT of Bojong Renged Village, Tangerang Regency, using Campbell's five program-effectiveness indicators. A comparative-descriptive quantitative approach was applied through total sampling of the entire population of 28 KWT members (13 respondents from Sodong and 15 from Bojong Renged), using a 26-item Likert-scale questionnaire that had passed validity (r count > 0.374), reliability (Cronbach's Alpha > 0.70), normality (Shapiro-Wilk, p > 0.05), and homogeneity (Levene, p > 0.05) tests. The actual-score calculation showed program effectiveness of 78.40 percent in Sodong and 71.15 percent in Bojong Renged, both falling into the good category yet short of the very-good threshold. An Independent Samples t-Test revealed statistically significant differences in three of the five indicators—satisfaction with the program, input-output level, and overall goal attainment (p < 0.05)—with Sodong consistently outperforming. These findings indicate that harvest-revenue management and administrative mentoring are the principal factors differentiating program effectiveness between areas with otherwise similar socio-economic characteristics.

Abstract

This study presents a machine learning (ML) framework for optimizing greenhouse environments to promote efficient plant growth. The approach utilizes time-series data to analyze and predict optimal growing conditions by integrating morphological traits—such as plant height, leaf size, and canopy structure—with dynamic environmental variables, including temperature, humidity, light intensity, and CO₂ levels. The proposed framework follows a structured, six-stage workflow comprising: data acquisition, data preprocessing, feature engineering, model selection and training, model evaluation, and prediction and decision support.. High-resolution sensors continuously collect environmental and plant-related data, which are then cleaned and formatted to handle missing values and temporal inconsistencies. Feature engineering techniques are applied to extract relevant growth indicators and environmental patterns. This framework lays the foundation for an intelligent decision support system that can assist growers in making informed environmental control decisions. By aligning greenhouse microclimates with the specific needs of crops, this approach aims to maximize yield, reduce energy consumption, and minimize resource waste. The adaptability of the framework also allows for its application across various plant species and cultivation setups, making it a scalable solution for modern agricultural operations.

Abstract

The transformation of work structures due to the rapid adoption of hybrid models post-COVID-19 has brought significant changes to how Generation Z constructs and interprets work ethics. As a digitally native cohort, Generation Z highly values flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful engagement, which pose distinct implications for multinational companies aiming to remain competitive in a globalized work environment. This study adopts a qualitative exploratory case study approach to examine how Generation Z employees develop and demonstrate work ethics in hybrid work systems. Twelve participants, selected purposively based on their experience of working in hybrid settings for a minimum of one year, participated in semi-structured in-depth interviews. Thematic analysis was conducted following Braun and Clarke’s framework. Findings reveal that Generation Z perceives work ethic as a function of personal responsibility, digital proficiency, and performance-based autonomy. Participants emphasized trust, transparent communication, and collaborative digital tools as essential to maintaining commitment and discipline. However, they also acknowledged challenges in delineating work-life boundaries, leading to role ambiguity and stress. The study concludes that to foster sustainable work ethics, multinational organizations must adopt flexible yet structured management strategies that align with Generation Z’s values while ensuring accountability. These insights contribute to evolving HR practices in managing digital-era workforce complexities.

Abstract

This study explores the application of variational quantum algorithms to solve NP-hard combinatorial optimization problems, focusing specifically on the MaxBisection problem. The research introduces an enhanced hybrid quantum-classical framework, HTAAC-QSDP, which combines problem-informed ansatz design with semidefinite programming (SDP) relaxation and iterative optimization. Simulation results across multiple graph instances show that the proposed method achieves approximation ratios consistently above 0.95, approaching classical SDP benchmarks. Experiments also demonstrate the sensitivity of performance to key hyperparameters such as circuit depth, rotation scaling, and learning rate. Additionally, hardware implementation on IBM quantum devices reveals the model’s resilience under noise, provided that initialization and optimization strategies are carefully tuned. The findings suggest that variational quantum approaches can provide high-quality approximations for complex NP-hard problems, even in the noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) era. The results lay the groundwork for scalable quantum optimization frameworks and support the advancement of quantum advantage in real-world applications.

Abstract

The process of determining referral hospitals for patients in primary healthcare facilities is often conducted based on subjective considerations without systematic analysis of patient data. In fact, diagnosis data and severity levels play a crucial role in determining appropriate referral decisions. This study aims to develop a referral hospital recommendation system for patients based on diagnosis data and severity level using the Random Forest method at Puskesmas Sigambal. The dataset used in this study consists of 120 patient referral records, including attributes such as age, gender, diagnosis, severity level, and referral hospital as the target variable. Diagnosis and severity level serve as the main variables in the classification process. The research stages include data preprocessing, categorical data transformation, splitting the dataset into training and testing sets with an 80:20 ratio, and building the Random Forest model. The evaluation results using a confusion matrix show an accuracy of 91.4%, precision of 89.8%, recall of 90.5%, and F1-score of 90.1%. These results indicate that the Random Forest method is capable of classifying referral hospitals with good performance based on patients’ diagnosis data and severity levels. Therefore, the developed system can assist healthcare personnel in providing referral hospital recommendations in a more objective, fast, and data-driven manner at Puskesmas Sigambal.
