Abstract

This study aims to design and develop a flipped classroom learning model based on Ignasian pedagogy with efective use of Gen AI to develop the 4Cs (competence, consience, compassion, and commitment) in Advance Financial Accounting II learning. The method used in this study is design-based research with three main phases, namely: (1) the preliminary design phase, and (3) the restrospective analysis phase. This study was implemented in the Advanced Financial Accounting II course in the Accounting Education Program at Sanata Dharma University, Yogyakarta, with a total of 31 course participants. The result of the study show that implementation of flipped learning based on Ignatian pedagogy utilizing AI-generated resources can develop student’ 4C skills. For the competence aspec, most students hane mastered the competencies of the Advanced Financial Accounting II course; for the conscience aspect, measuring student independence falls into high and very high categories; for the compassion aspect, measuring student collaboration is categorized as high and very high.

Abstract

The quality of early childhood education depends on teachers’ productivity, which reflects their effectiveness, and competence in carrying out educational duties such as lesson planning, classroom management, interaction with children, and developmental assessment. This study aims to explore the role of teacher well-being in influencing work productivity among early childhood education teachers in kindergartens across Yogyakarta City. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected from both certified and non-certified teachers through in-depth interviews, non-participant observations, and documentation analysis. The validity of the data was ensured through technique triangulation, while data analysis involved data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that teachers’ physical well-being, including financial fulfillment, health security, and access to learning facilities, contributes to their stability and focus in teaching. Meanwhile, spiritual well-being expressed through supportive work environments and harmonious relationships encourages motivation and creativity. Teacher productivity is also influenced by training, motivation, and collaborative work climates, despite challenges such as limited facilities, changing policies, and communication gaps with parents. Strengthening institutional support and collaboration between schools and parents is essential for sustaining teacher productivity in Yogyakarta kindergartens. This study provides theoretical reinforcment of teacher well being and practical guidance for developing policies to support early childhood teacher productivity.

Abstract

Computational Thinking (CT) is an essential competence for students in vocational education to support problem-solving, systematic thinking, and adaptability to workplace demands. However, the development of CT in vocational high schools is often limited to technical instruction and has not been fully integrated into students’ learning culture. This study aims to examine the role of Virtual Reality (VR) Game-Based Learning in strengthening the culture of computational thinking among vocational high school students. The study focuses on how VR-based game learning activities foster habitual patterns of logical, systematic, and problem-solving thinking within vocational classroom practices. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through classroom observations, analysis of learning activities, and student reflections, this research explores changes in student engagement, learning interactions, and thinking habits during the implementation of VR Game-Based Learning. The findings indicate that VR-based games create an immersive and contextual learning environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and sustained engagement, contributing to the formation of a computational thinking culture relevant to vocational learning contexts. This study suggests that VR Game-Based Learning can function as an effective pedagogical practice to support the development of a positive learning culture aligned with the needs of vocational education.

This study aims to examine: 1) the level of social media use, 2) the level of disaster awareness, 3) the influence of social on natural disaster awareness of MAN Wonogiri students. This research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. The study population consisted of 556 students, from which a sample of 233 students was selected using the slovin formula with a significance level of 5%. The sampling techinique applied was simple random sampling. Data were collected using a questinnaire, and the analysis involved scoring and statistical testing using the spearman rank correlation. The results of the study indicated that: (1) the level of social media use had an average score of 23.4 (90.5%), which was classified in the moderate category, (2) the level of natural disaster awareness had an average score of 105 (94.6%), which was categorized as high, and (3) the inferential test result showed a significance value of 0.02 (< 0.05), based on these findings, it was concluded that social media use did not affect the level of natural disaster awareness among MAN Wonogiri students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of inclusive learning based on multiple intelligences at MIM PK Kartasura as an effort to facilitate the diversity of students' learning styles and improve learning outcomes. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data in this study is analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results show that the school has implemented student learning style mapping from the beginning of admission through readiness tests and Multiple Intelligences Research (MIR). The implementation of learning is done by grouping students into classes according to their intelligence tendencies, such as kinesthetic classes, linguistic, tahfidz, and SME (Science, Math, English). This strategy has proven effective in increasing motivation, understanding, and student achievement, while also providing space for Children with Special Needs (ABK) through special teacher assistance. Besides improving academic achievement, this model also contributes to character development, self-confidence, and student tolerance attitudes. In conclusion, inclusive learning based on multiple intelligences effectively creates a fair, friendly, and meaningful learning environment. This study recommends broader application of this model in other schools to support quality and equitable education.
