Abstract

An employee payroll information system is an important component in an organization for managing employee salary data and payments effectively and efficiently. This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the success of employee payroll information system project management. The research method used is the waterfall method, which includes planning stages, needs analysis, system design, implementation, as well as testing and evaluation. This system is designed to automate the payroll process, from calculating salaries, withholding taxes, to creating financial reports. With this information system, it is hoped that it can reduce human error in the payroll process and increase employee satisfaction through transparency and accuracy of salary data. Where the implementation results show a significant increase in the speed and accuracy of payroll. Key factors for the success of this project include active involvement of stakeholders, use of appropriate technology, and effective risk management.

Abstract

Methodology is a very important basic framework in the design and development of professional software, aimed at creating an information system that meets the business needs of an organization. Success in software development relies heavily on managing the software project as a whole. Establishing a methodology includes high dynamics in the design stages of a model that describes the activities and life cycle of a system. SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle) or Systems Development Life Cycle, in the context of systems and software engineering, is a process that includes the creation and modification of systems, as well as the models and methodologies used to develop them. This discussion will explain the analysis of selecting software development methodologies, including waterfall, prototype, iterative, spiral, and rapid application development (RAD). It is hoped that the results of this discussion can provide considerations in choosing and using the right methodology based on each individual's needs, strengths and weaknesses, as well as other factors such as familiarity with technology, system complexity, system reliability, and short and precise time requirements, as well as referencing several scientific journals.

Abstract

In the ever-growing digital era, banking services also continue to develop and become important for both individuals and businesses to carry out financial transactions quickly and easily. With these technological advances, serious concerns have arisen regarding the security of banking service data. Ransomware is a type of malicious program or malware that threatens to destroy or block access to important data or systems until a ransom is paid by the victim. Ransomware can infect computers in various ways, for example through attached files that the victim downloads, or attacking software directly by looking for vulnerable loopholes. Ransomware attacks have caused many losses, especially in the banking sector, both in terms of financial and customer data security. Protection of banking services from cyber attacks is very important. Proactive prevention efforts, early detection, quick response, application of appropriate technology and implementation of strong data security policies are crucial elements in maintaining the integrity and security of financial transactions. Therefore, it is very important for banking services to understand ransomware attacks and the dangers of ransomware by strengthening computer data security. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research using the literature study method.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the perceptions of Transjakarta users towards the Instagram account @infotije in terms of meeting their information needs. The type of research used is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the Instagram account @infotije is effective in enhancing users' knowledge about Transjakarta services, which include routes, schedules, service changes, and special facilities. This study also evaluates the approach to users' information needs, which are current, daily, in-depth, and concise. It was found that the @infotije account successfully meets the need for up-to-date and relevant information, although there is room for improvement in interaction and response to user questions. Overall, the Instagram account @infotije plays an important role in the information ecosystem of Transjakarta users, helping them plan their journeys more efficiently and increasing their trust in Transjakarta services.

Abstract

The use of Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) can be an effective tool in achieving quality education. The purpose of this study is to understand how the implementation of Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) can improve the quality of education. This research adopts a literature review method. In the implementation of Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) in various schools, including MI Muhammadiyah Paremono, SMKN 1 Cijulang, SMP Hasim As'ari Tegalombo, and MAN 2 Ponorogo, it is evident that the use of information technology contributes positively to improving the quality of education. Various applications such as SIMPATIKA, e-learning, fingerprint, and web applications have assisted in managing information, enhancing the learning process, measuring learning outcomes, and facilitating the enrollment of new students. However, the implementation process does not always proceed smoothly due to various supporting and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors, such as cooperation between parties and efforts to overcome obstacles, facilitate the smooth implementation of EMIS. On the other hand, technical challenges, human resource difficulties, and student challenges in following learning through applications are obstacles that need to be addressed.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children, in Indonesia it is still a serious problem with a fairly high prevalence. The government is trying to reduce stunting rates with various health programs, and early detection through routine measurements is very important. This research uses the Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) algorithm to classify stunting status in children under five years. This study uses a relevant dataset containing anthropometric information on children, such as gender, age, birth weight and length, current weight and length, and breastfeeding status. The research stages include dataset search, preprocessing, classification, evaluation, and implementation in a local web-based prediction program. The XGBoost algorithm was chosen because of its advantages in speed, scalability, and efficiency. After preprocessing and data sharing, the model was trained and tested, resulting in 86% accuracy, 89% precision, 95% recall, and 92% F1-score. Evaluation using the confusion matrix and classification report shows that this model is quite effective in classifying stunting status.

Auditing information systems in the banking sector is a crucial step to ensure optimal service quality. This article discusses how the COBIT 5 framework can be used to assess and improve the quality of banking services. This research utilizes data from HIJ bank, identifies areas that need improvement, and provides recommendations for improving service quality.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation and evaluation of the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) convolutional neural network model for classification of fruit types, specifically to differentiate between Banana and Papaya. The CNN model used consists of several convolutional, pooling, and fully connected (dense) layers designed to extract features and perform binary classification. Data augmentation is applied to the training set to increase data variation and prevent overfitting. The image data used is normalized to speed up training convergence. The model was trained using the Adam optimizer and the binary crossentropy loss function for 20 epochs. Performance evaluation was carried out using the validation set. The results show that the model is able to effectively classify fruit images with a high level of accuracy. Predictions are made by uploading images, resizing them, and normalizing them before using the model for predictions. The classification threshold was set at 0.4, where a predicted probability greater than or equal to 0.4 was classified as Banana and a probability less than 0.4 was classified as Papaya. This research shows that the CNN model can be used effectively for binary image classification tasks and can be extended to classify more types of fruit with appropriate data adjustments and model architecture.

Abstract

Management Information Systems (MIS) have become a crucial component in enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness in various educational institutions, including elementary, middle, and high schools. This article examines the implementation of MIS in schools, with a case study at SMP Negeri 11 Lhokseumawe. The implementation process, including planning, organizing, execution, and evaluation, is detailed comprehensively. The findings indicate that MIS can improve data management accuracy, expedite administrative processes, and increase parental involvement in the educational process. Despite facing challenges such as human resource readiness and infrastructure, proper support and systematic approaches enable schools to maximize the benefits of MIS. This article concludes that MIS is an effective tool in supporting school management and improving the quality of education.
