Abstract

The use of Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) can be an effective tool in achieving quality education. The purpose of this study is to understand how the implementation of Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) can improve the quality of education. This research adopts a literature review method. In the implementation of Education Management Information Systems (EMIS) in various schools, including MI Muhammadiyah Paremono, SMKN 1 Cijulang, SMP Hasim As'ari Tegalombo, and MAN 2 Ponorogo, it is evident that the use of information technology contributes positively to improving the quality of education. Various applications such as SIMPATIKA, e-learning, fingerprint, and web applications have assisted in managing information, enhancing the learning process, measuring learning outcomes, and facilitating the enrollment of new students. However, the implementation process does not always proceed smoothly due to various supporting and inhibiting factors. Supporting factors, such as cooperation between parties and efforts to overcome obstacles, facilitate the smooth implementation of EMIS. On the other hand, technical challenges, human resource difficulties, and student challenges in following learning through applications are obstacles that need to be addressed.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition of failure to thrive in children, in Indonesia it is still a serious problem with a fairly high prevalence. The government is trying to reduce stunting rates with various health programs, and early detection through routine measurements is very important. This research uses the Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) algorithm to classify stunting status in children under five years. This study uses a relevant dataset containing anthropometric information on children, such as gender, age, birth weight and length, current weight and length, and breastfeeding status. The research stages include dataset search, preprocessing, classification, evaluation, and implementation in a local web-based prediction program. The XGBoost algorithm was chosen because of its advantages in speed, scalability, and efficiency. After preprocessing and data sharing, the model was trained and tested, resulting in 86% accuracy, 89% precision, 95% recall, and 92% F1-score. Evaluation using the confusion matrix and classification report shows that this model is quite effective in classifying stunting status.

Abstract

Auditing information systems in the banking sector is a crucial step to ensure optimal service quality. This article discusses how the COBIT 5 framework can be used to assess and improve the quality of banking services. This research utilizes data from HIJ bank, identifies areas that need improvement, and provides recommendations for improving service quality.

Abstract

This research discusses the implementation and evaluation of the Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) convolutional neural network model for classification of fruit types, specifically to differentiate between Banana and Papaya. The CNN model used consists of several convolutional, pooling, and fully connected (dense) layers designed to extract features and perform binary classification. Data augmentation is applied to the training set to increase data variation and prevent overfitting. The image data used is normalized to speed up training convergence. The model was trained using the Adam optimizer and the binary crossentropy loss function for 20 epochs. Performance evaluation was carried out using the validation set. The results show that the model is able to effectively classify fruit images with a high level of accuracy. Predictions are made by uploading images, resizing them, and normalizing them before using the model for predictions. The classification threshold was set at 0.4, where a predicted probability greater than or equal to 0.4 was classified as Banana and a probability less than 0.4 was classified as Papaya. This research shows that the CNN model can be used effectively for binary image classification tasks and can be extended to classify more types of fruit with appropriate data adjustments and model architecture.

Abstract

Management Information Systems (MIS) have become a crucial component in enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness in various educational institutions, including elementary, middle, and high schools. This article examines the implementation of MIS in schools, with a case study at SMP Negeri 11 Lhokseumawe. The implementation process, including planning, organizing, execution, and evaluation, is detailed comprehensively. The findings indicate that MIS can improve data management accuracy, expedite administrative processes, and increase parental involvement in the educational process. Despite facing challenges such as human resource readiness and infrastructure, proper support and systematic approaches enable schools to maximize the benefits of MIS. This article concludes that MIS is an effective tool in supporting school management and improving the quality of education.

Abstract

. PPDB is the first activity or process in an activity for school institutions, where PPDB goes through a selection determined by the school for prospective new students or student.. Admission of new students is an activity that is carried out routinely in every school, especially when entering the change of semester in the educational calendar each year. This is a very important initial stage in the process of registering prospective students at an educational institution.The aim of this research is to investigate and evaluate in depth how the process of accepting new students takes place at the Darma Bangsa School in Bandar Lampung, using COBIT 4.1 maturity level analysis. COBIT is a collection of the best documents for IT Governance to make it easier for auditors, management and users to become a middle ground between business risks, controls and technical issues.

Abstract

Libraries as information service providers require information systems that can manage data and information effectively and efficiently. Information system audits are needed to evaluate information system performance and ensure organizational goals are achieved. This research aims to analyze library service information system audits using the COBIT 5 framework, because it focuses on services and service requests. The stages of an ABC library service audit include determining audit objectives, identifying library services using the Framework, capability level analysis, testing controls and evidence at the capability level, verifying results, and compiling audit results reports and recommendations. Audits carried out for library services focus on Process Domains DSS01 and DSS02.

Abstract

The development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia contributes to the expected progress of the Indonesian economy. However, UMKM still face many challenges in the field of accounting and financial reporting. Financial reports are a tool used to determine the value and performance of UMKM. The purpose of this article is to examine the use of technology, especially in the field of accounting and understand the role of accounting information systems in UMKM and the application of digital accounting in UMKM. The method used is a case study method using related journals. The results obtained show that the use of technology in UMKM currently brings digitalization to their activities. For example sales transactions and payment transactions. However, many UMKM still use manual paper accounting. With increasing socialization and rapid technological advances, it is hoped that UMKM players can carry out accounting effectively and efficiently in their businesses so as to create technology-literate UMKM.

Abstract

The impact of standardization on Labor Vocational High School (SMK Labor) is felt by students, teachers, and staff, particularly in all activities related to the library information system that must comply with the procedures (SOP) established in ISO 9001:2000 SOP. The current library information system has not been audited yet, and it is not known whether it has supported the achievement of the school's vision and mission. A technique is needed to control and ensure that the library information system aligns with the organization's objectives. This is the reason why an audit of the Library Information System usage at SMAN 1 Terbanggi Besar needs to be conducted. The audit of the library information system uses the COBIT 5 framework with the Delivery, Service, and Support (DSS) domain, namely DSS.1, DSS.5, DSS.11, DSS.12, and DSS.13. The research results show that there is one process with capability level 4, which is DSS02, and there are five processes with capability level 3, namely DSS01, DSS03, DSS04, and DSS05. The overall capability level obtained based on the average is 3, which means that most of the activities in the DSS domain for the library information system at SMAN 1 Terbanggi Besar have been carried out. There are standardized implementations for these processes, and they are well-documented and communicated. This study implies that through the assessment of capability levels related to the Library Information System at SMAN 1 Terbanggi Besar, it can be continued in the future development of specific business processes, especially when there is an increasing number of customer services with diverse library service products. This can be done within the COBIT 5 audit framework.

Abstract

Jabbar Global Sinergi is an online store engaged in the electronics sector, located in the South Tangerang area. This shop sells various kinds of electronic components and accessories and several other spare parts, in its operations Jabbar Global Synergy still uses the manual method, which is recorded in a book to record goods so that errors often occur in the stock data, and the lack of time efficiency in searching for goods makes it difficult to obtain data online.realtime.This study aims to design information systemsinventory website-based electronic goods on cv jabbar global synergy to facilitate data collection while increasing time efficiency making it easier to obtain data or information onlinerealtime. The expected result of this research is to be able to build and design information systemsinventory website-based electronic goods to make it easier to get information about data and goods reports onlinerealtime.
