Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based expert system with the Forward Chaining method that can diagnose and provide treatment for people with stroke disease. The expert system will be used to help the diagnosis process by analyzing the symptoms reported by the patient. The Forward Chaining method will be used as an inference approach in this expert system. The system will use a knowledge base that contains medical rules obtained from experts. The inference process will be carried out by linking the symptoms reported by the patient with the information in the knowledge base to determine possible diagnoses and appropriate treatments. This expert system will be implemented in the form of a web-based application that can be accessed by the general public. The results of this study show that the expert system to diagnose and provide treatment using the forward chaining method is successfully built and the application can be used to help the general public diagnose by entering the symptoms felt and the expert system will provide diagnostic results and provide treatment.

Abstract

Cooperative loans are financial facilities provided by cooperatives to their members to meet funding needs with predetermined terms and conditions. The process includes submission, assessment and disbursement of funds according to members' needs and abilities. This loan generally has a certain interest and repayment period. The aim of the research is to determine the provision of loans in a decision support system using a combination of AHP and SAW methods. The AHP method is an analytical technique for selecting the best alternative in complex decision making, by weighing preferences and criteria, while SAW is a calculation approach that takes into account relative weights for evaluating alternatives in a decision support system. The final result of combining the AHP and SAW methods is to obtain a ranking of the names of cooperative members who are entitled to receive loans, ranging from the best 10 people out of 50 people in each region in Jakarta.

Abstract

Eligibility for new employees includes individuals who have skills appropriate to the position they are applying for, have a high willingness to learn, communicate well, and have integrity and good work ethics. They must also be able to adapt to the work environment and team quickly, but determining the suitability of new employees is quite difficult given the competencies of each division, therefore the use of data mining is very suitable for determining the suitability of new employees according to the needs of the company which uses them. decision tree algorithm (C4.5), the results obtained from the decision tree algorithm process show the truth tree for classifying new employees and a high level of accuracy with a percentage of 98.44% based on test 2.

Abstract

Social assistance is an important aspect of government and non-government programs that can help on a large scale for the community so that the impact is to lighten life in the short term, but social assistance has several criteria such as income, social conditions, family status and the impact of the economic situation. . Knowing the criteria for social assistance is done by applying data mining to social assistance using the Naive Bayes algorithm procedure which produces accuracy calculations from 100 testing data, obtained good values, namely accuracy of 95.00%, precision of 92.31%, and recall of 97.95%.

Abstract

Rainfall monitoring is an important aspect of meteorology and water resources management. The development of a microcontroller-based rainfall monitoring device that can transmit data in real-time through the Telegram application offers an effective and efficient solution to overcome the constraints of manual monitoring. This research aims to design and build a rainfall monitoring system that uses a microcontroller as the main controller and the Twilio platform as a data transmission service via Telegram. This tool is designed to measure rainfall intensity using a hall effect sensor, which is then processed by a microcontroller. The rainfall data obtained will be sent to the user's device via Telegram message. This system is expected to provide accurate and timely information to users, so that it can be used in various applications such as agriculture, flood monitoring, and water resource management. The test results show that this rainfall monitoring tool is able to send data quickly, this tool is expected to increase efficiency and effectiveness in rainfall monitoring and make a significant contribution in the field of meteorology and environmental management.

Abstract

Customer churn prediction models have become an important tool in the telecommunications industry to reduce churn rates and improve customer retention. This research focuses on building an accurate customer churn prediction model using machine learning algorithms for TELCO Company. By applying diverse feature engineering techniques and prediction models such as RandomForestClassifier, DecisionTreeClassifier, and XGBoost, this study showcases a significant improvement in prediction accuracy compared to previously implemented rule-based methods. The findings of this research allow TELCO Company to identify high-risk customers more effectively and implement targeted retention strategies. Results show that the resulting model can identify customers at risk of churn more effectively, enabling more targeted retention actions..

Abstract

The utilization of information technology in digital literacy education has become increasingly important due to the growing threat of cybercrime. This research aims to analyze the impact of digital literacy education on improving data security and preventing cybercrime within the community. Using a qualitative approach, this study identifies the role of information technology in raising public awareness and understanding of the importance of protecting personal data online. The findings reveal that digital literacy education, supported by information technology, can significantly reduce the risk of cybercrime. Communities that are educated in digital literacy are better equipped to face cybersecurity challenges and safeguard the integrity of their data. This education also provides practical guidelines for using digital devices safely and ethically.

Abstract

The implementation of Internet of Things (IoT) technology in the smart city concept has become an important innovation that plays a major role in improving the quality of life of urban communities. IoT enables the integration of various interconnected devices and systems to optimize the management of city resources such as energy, transportation and security. This research aims to encourage the influence of IoT technology on the implementation of smart cities in several cities in Indonesia. Using qualitative and quantitative methods, this research collects data through interviews with city stakeholders as well as secondary data analysis from related reports and publications. The research results show that the application of IoT in smart cities has a significant impact on increasing operational efficiency, better environmental management, and improving public services. However, this research also found a number of challenges, such as limited infrastructure, data security problems, and low digital literacy among the public. In conclusion, although IoT has great potential in accelerating the implementation of smart cities, policies are needed that support and increase society's capacity to reach the full potential of this technology.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has significantly impacted the lives of children and adolescents. While social media offers numerous benefits, its irresponsible use can lead to risks of personal data abuse and cybercrime. This study aims to develop smart and wise internet skills in social media for children and adolescents as an effort to protect personal data and prevent cybercrime. The research employs a qualitative approach with case studies in schools. The findings indicate that proper digital literacy education can enhance awareness among children and adolescents regarding existing risks and equip them with skills to use social media safely. This recommendation is crucial to be implemented in the educational curriculum to create a safer and more responsible generation in using technology.
