Abstract

This study aims to calculate the needs of geography teachers, find out the distribution of geography teachers and the suitability of the qualifications of geography teachers with their educational background and map the distribution of needs for geography teachers at high school in the city of Padang. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. Data was collected by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis is by using maps, calculations using formulas and data descriptions. The results of this study (1) from the calculation of teacher needs, it is known that the geography teachers needed are 37 people while the existing teachers are 40 people, the teacher needs are categorized as excessive. (2) for the distribution of geography teachers at SMA in the city of swords has been categorized evenly because the number of teachers in each school has been fulfilled (3) Relevance of the educational background of geography teachers in SMA Negeri the number of geography teachers who are in accordance with the S1 background of geography education is 39 people or 97.5%, while those who are not in accordance with the educational background are 1 teachers or 2.5%.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu peserta didik untuk memperbaiki nilai yang belum mencapai ketuntasan hasil belajar. Dengan adanya pelaksanaan pembelajaran remedial, sehingga peserta didik dapat memperbaiki hasil belajarnya, agar guru bisa mengetahui kemampuan peserta didik jauh dari standart ketuntasan. Metode penelian ini adalah kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dengan sumber data dari guru dan peserta didik di SMA Negeri 2 Batang Anai Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan pembelajaran remedial merupakan proses pembelajaran guru dalam memahami peserta didik terhadap ketuntasan belajar, guru harus melakukan interaksi dengan peserta didik dalam memberikan penjelasan materi, karena pembelajaran remedial bukan termasuk pembelajaran yang direncanakan, dan guru dapat menyesuaikan dengan kondisi yang dihadapi peserta didik.

Abstract

Abstract Competence comes from the word competence which describes the appearance of a certain ability in its entirety which is a dialectic (combination) between knowledge and ability. To be said to have digital literacy, one must master information, visual, media, and communication literacy. the amount of student literacy competence, how big is the achievement of student learning outcomes and the relationship between digital literacy competence and student learning outcomes. This research uses correlational quantitative. With a total sample of 94 students. Data collection with questionnaires, and documentation. The research instrument was tested with validity and reliability using the product moment correlation formula from Pearson and reliability testing with the Cronbach alpha formula. Data analysis used descriptive statistics of percentages and simple regression analysis. The results showed that the level of learning outcomes of students in class X IPS in SMA Negeri 1 Payakumbuh was in a fairly strong category, and there was a significant effect of digital literacy competence on the learning outcomes of students in class X SMA Negeri 1 Payakumbuh.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how to design powtoon-based learning media and determine and analyze the validity and practicality of developing powtoon-based learning media on atmospheric dynamics and its impact on life. The type of research used is Research Development or Research and Development. The development model is in the form of IDI (Instructional Development Institute which has three stages, namely the definition stage, the development stage and the evaluation stage. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of validation (1) the assessment score of the material expert is 92.33 %; (2) design expert assessment of 88.53%; (3) linguistic expert assessment of 95.41%; (4) and practicality assessment by teachers of 89.69% and (5) practicality assessment by students of 89, 95%. Based on these results, the development of powtoon-based learning media is categorized as very valid and very practical so that it is feasible to use and develop. It is hoped that this application can facilitate the teaching and learning process and improve the quality of student learning achievement.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain, process, analyze, and discuss data on the Effect of Student Learning Motivation on Student Geography Learning Outcomes in Class X Social Sciences at SMAN 1 Sungai Puar, Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province, for the academic year 2021/2022. The method in this study is a quantitative method with the type of correlational research. The population in this study were all students of class X IPS 1,2, and 3 as many as 82 people. Sampling was taken by total sampling with a total sample of 82 people. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Data analysis used in 2 ways, namely: (1) descriptive statistical analysis, (2) Regression analysis. The results: There is a significant and positive relationship between students' learning motivation and learning outcomes of Geography in class X Social Sciences SMAN 1 Sungai Puar, Agam Regency, with an rxy correlation coefficient of 0.322 which indicates a low relationship between students' learning motivation and students' learning outcomes of Geography in class X IPS SMAN 1 Sungai Puar, Agam Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between income and parental education on student learning outcomes. This type of research is quantitative with Multiple Linear Regression Method. The population of this research is the students of class XI majoring in Social Studies in the academic year 2021/2022 as many as 80 students with a sample of 80 students using "total sampling". Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that income did not have a positive effect, and education did not have a positive effect on student learning outcomes, while income and parental education simultaneously did not affect student learning outcomes. The results of the calculation of the multiple regression formula between the X_1 variable have a positive value of 1.344 and a significant level of 0.195 > 0.05, meaning that the income variable has no effect. The X_2 variable has a negative value of - 0.215, and a significant level of 0.554 > 0.05, meaning that the education variable has no significant positive effect. The contribution of parents' income and education is only 2.2% to student learning outcomes, while 97.8% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study such as internal factors of interest, talent, motivation, learning methods, and external factors of the school environment, environment its people.

Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of learning social interaction models on student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 2 Batang Kapas, Pesisir Selatan. The design used in this study is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research type. The sampling technique used in this study was total sampling with a sample size of 62 people. Data analysis in this study used SPSS 26. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, documentation, and learning outcomes tests were using pretest and posttest. Data processing in this study used normality test, homogeneity test and T test to determine the hypothesis. The results of the study prove that there is a significant effect between the experimental class and the kontrol class. Calculation of the average, the experimental class got a result of 81.90 and the kontrol class got a result of 77.03. Analysis of the effectiveness using N-Gain, obtained the results of the effective of the experimental class 67% with information quite effective to be applied while in the kontrol class obtained the results of effective of 54% with information less effective to be applied.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Case Based Learning learning model on student learning outcomes in the basic knowledge of geography. Which will be held at SMAN 1 Harau in the 2022/2023 academic year. This study uses a quasi-experimental method, with the type of research in the form of a posttest control only group design. As for the research sample using purposive sampling technique. The sample in this study was the X IPS 1 students who had 36 students as an experimental class, by applying the Case Based Learning model. While X IPS 5 which has 36 students as a conventional class, applies a scientific approach model. This study used data collection techniques in the form of written tests, 45 multiple choice questions and documentation tests. From the results of the average posttest value of the experimental class, it was obtained that the score was 83.61 and the conventional class was 61.69. Data analysis of the two sample groups used a t-test with the SPSS 21 system in order to obtain a significance of 0.00 which is below = 0.05 (sig>α). This means that there is a significant influence from the application of Case Based Learning on student learning outcomes in the basic knowledge of Geography.

Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to 1)knowing how the level of teacher readiness in implementing the Program Guru Penggerak at SMAN 1 Kec. Suliki Kab. Lima Puluh Kota, and 2)knowing how the school is prepared in implementing the Program Guru Penggerak at SMAN 1 Kec. Suliki. This research is a type of combination research (mix method) that uses quantitative research and qualitative research. The research method used is exploratory sequential, where the researcher conducts qualitative research at first to get an overview and explore the views of the research sample so that the right instrument can be identified to be used in quantitative research. With a sample of 30 respondets, the researcher will distribute questionnaires to then be processed using the percentage data test. The results of this study found that the level of school readiness in implementing the Progam Guru Penggerak was in the very ready category with an average percentage value of 90% which consisted of the readiness of teachers in implementing the Program Guru Penggerak in the very ready category with an average percentage value of 93,68%, and the readiness of school in implementing the Program Guru Penggerak is categorized as very ready with an average percentage value of 85,66%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the effect of social relations between students and students in the school environment on geography learning outcomes (2) the effect of social relations between students and teachers in the school environment on geography learning outcomes (3) the influence of social relations between students and students and students and teachers in the school environment with the results of studying geography in class XI IPS students at SMA N 1 Ampek Angkek, Agam Regency. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with a correlational type of research. The population of this study were all students of class XI Social Sciences at SMAN 1 Ampek Angkek, Agam Regency. The sample was drawn using a random sampling technique with a total sample of 64 students. The data collection method was obtained from data collected from questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique is in the form of multiple correlation analysis techniques. The results showed that (1) the social relationship between students and students towards geography learning outcomes at school had a positive relationship which was included in the very weak category with a correlation result of 0.044369469 (2) social relations between students and teachers at school in geography subjects there is a positive relationship which is included in the very weak category with a correlation result of 0.022289085 (3) Social relations of students towards geography learning outcomes at SMAN 1 Ampek Angkek, Agam Regency, there is a positive relationship which is included in the very weak category with a correlation result of 0.02978263. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the social relations that occur in the school environment are not the main factor influencing student learning outcomes.
