Abstract

Abstract Posyandu is a form of Community-Based Health Efforts (UKBM) which is managed by the community, especially in monitoring nutritional status. Nutrition status monitoring is important because nutrition influences brain development and behavior, work ability and productivity as well as resistance to infectious diseases. Toddlers are an age group that cannot yet manage their own food so parents need supervision, a group of toddlers vulnerable to malnutrition. So that the proper way of Infant and Child Feeding (PMBA) is important to be socialized. The implementation method is in the form of counseling, discussion, practice simulation and pre-post test evaluation. Evaluation monitoring is carried out by looking at indicators of success in the aspect of attendance of targets attending each meeting at the service activities and practices to the target, reflection and feedback from participants as well as PMBA practice behavior can be implemented by the target. After education, there is an increase in the ability of mothers to practice PMBA simulations. It was concluded that the use of media in providing information to mothers is very effective in increasing the ability of mothers in the correct PMBA so that it is expected to reduce nutritional problems in children. A program that is continuous with supervision by health workers and involves cadres in providing information to mothers of toddlers needs to be done.

Abstract

AbstractThe degree of health is influenced by many factors including the environment, behavior, health services and heredity. health is a basic human right and is one of the factors that determine the quality of human resources. The use of contraception is an effort to maintain health. there are various kinds of contraception one of which is the IUD. Intrauterine device (IUD) or also called an intrauterine device (IUD) is a very effective method of contraception to prevent pregnancy reaching 99.7%. IUD birth control has many advantages including a long effective period of contraception that is 3-5 years, no hassle to remember the medication schedule, no need to change devices, or refill prescriptions and return to the doctor or midwifeto repeat contraception and most importantly the return of fertility can occur immediately after removing the IUD. These advantages make IUD birth control a pregnancy delay tool that is most effective compared to other contraceptives. the lack of mother's knowledge about the benefits of using the IUD birth control program and the large amount of incorrect information makes mothers reluctant to use the IUD birth control program. Current conditions, the use of effective long-term contraceptive methods, especially the IUD, has relatively decreased while the use of hormonal contraceptive methods dominates. the provision of information through counseling is aimed at women of childbearing age and pregnant women so that they can provide appropriate information about the benefits of using KB IUDs and the awareness of mothers to use safer contraception andlong-term. long-range

Abstract

Breast care during pregnancy is one important part that must be considered as preparation for breastfeeding later. Breasts need to be prepared since pregnancy so that if the baby is born it can function properly immediately when needed. Breast care is also very helpful in the success of early breastfeeding, which affects exclusive breastfeeding. Breast care (Breast Care) is a way of caring for breasts performed during pregnancy or the puerperium for the production of breast milk, other than that for cleanliness of the breast and the form of nipples that go in or flat. Nipples are actually not an obstacle for mothers to breastfeed well by knowing from the beginning, mothers have time to make it easier for nipples to breastfeed. Besides that it is also very important to pay attention to personal hygiene. Current problems faced by partners include the lack of knowledge of pregnant women regarding the importance of breast care during pregnancy, so it is considered necessary to provide counseling to provide knowledge to pregnant women to prepare pregnant women to give early breastfeeding at the time of delivery and provide exclusive breastfeeding to infants up to 2 years. Community service activities are carried out at the Puskesmas Putri Ayu Kota Jambi. Time of implementation in January 2019. The target is pregnant women. Community service methods survey approach, lecture, discussion, demonstration / simulation.
