Abstract

Pendidikan di sekolah saat ini diarahkan menuju proses pembelajaran yang interaktif yang menjadikan peserta didik sebagai subjek dan objek pembelajaran, sehingga peserta didik menjadi aktif tidak lagi pasif dalam pembelajaran. Merupakan tugas dan peran seorang pendidik untuk merancang bagaimana menciptakan suatu proses pembelajaran interaktif yang menjadikan peserta didik sebagai pemeran utama dalam proses pembelajaran. Serta bagaimana memfasilitasi peserta didik agar mudah memahami materi yang diajarkan sehingga tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai. Berdasarkan data awal yang didapat menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar mata pelajaran IPS materi pokok Keunggulan Tanah di Indonesia berada dibawah ketuntasan klasikal. Ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar peserta didik hanya mencapai 25% sedangkan 75% peserta didik belum mampu mencapai kriteria ketuntasan minimum. Ketuntasan klasikal tersebut masih kurang dari ketuntasan klasikal yang telah ditetapkan sekolah yaitu 85%.

Abstract

Students can prepare themselves to enter the global workforce by learning English for Specific Purpose (ESP) as communicative approach, which is a crucial part of the subject. One way to make learning ESP enjoyable for students so they will be driven to do and will be able to grasp the topic quickly is by using social media. This study aimed to analyze technology on English for specific purposes (ESP) students in communicative language teaching approach. This study applied qualitative method. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The triangulation technique as a data validity technique is carried out by comparing interview data with data obtained from observations and data from documentation. From the research conducted, it was found that the use of social media as a medium for learning ESP had a positive effect, namely, as a means of communication that is in high demand, as a tool for triggering student interaction and motivation, and as a collaborative tool. Implications for teaching ESP with the help of technology and suggestions for further research were also provided

Abstract

Efforts are made to provide support in exploring the potential of the community so that they are empowered and able to participate in preventing the transmission of COVID-19. The method of activity is socialization, health services, checking blood sugar levels, health counseling, fostering active cadres and empowering families which are carried out in synergy with the Benteng District Health Office and puskesmas. The implementation of activities allocated for 6 months in Lubuk Sini Village. Community empowerment activities in Covid-19 prevention at the village level involve various elements in the community, such as; Village heads and officials, health cadres, puskesmas officers and the community in the area. All elements of society have roles and functions in accordance with the conditions that occur in their respective regions. With community empowerment in preventing COVID-19 at the village level, this is done so that everyone is able to identify and recognize risks that can support the implementation of Covid-19 prevention activities in their area and apply a clean lifestyle in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of socialization and training can increase the knowledge, attitudes and behavior of Village cadres to convey back to the community more broadly about Covid 19. Continuous monitoring and evaluation of cadres needs to be carried out so that cadres play an active role in improving the health of villagers, especially in preventing Covid 19.

Abstract

This paper reports ZnPt bimetallic nanoparticles (ZnPtBNs) synthesis through the liquid phase deposition (LPD) of of Zn(NO3)2.6H2O onto the indium-titanium oxide (ITO) substrates at various concentrations. The Effects of growth solution, the morphology, structural, and sheet resistance were studied. After preparation, the materials were characterized by using field emission electron microscopy (FESEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Four Point Probe (FPP) measurement by using Keithley 2401 source-meter. By inserting a growth solution into the ITO substrate the ZnPtBNs was successfully in-situ prepared. The synthesized ZnPtBNs exhibited homogeneous, fibrous at the (111) orientation with an average diameter of 100-700 nm. The atomic ratio of Zn:Pt and sheet resistance of ZnPtBNs decreased with the increase of Zn(NO3)2.6H2O concentration. The optimal elemental composition of the sample was at a ratio of Zn:Pt (1:25) obtained at 0.467 mM of Zn(NO3)2.6H2O. It showed the smallest sheet resistance (13.41 ?) which was 38% lower than the ITO sheet resistance (18.44 ?).

Abstract

Sebelum menjadi seorang guru, seseorang yang memiliki minat untuk menjadi guru harus memiliki keterampilan dasar mengajar. Salah satu cara untuk mempelajari keterampilan dasar mengajar di perguruan tinggi adalah dengan mengikuti kuliah microteaching di universitas. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan mata kuliah microteaching yang ditawarkan sebagai bagian dari program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan di FPTK UPI, untuk mengetahui minat mengajar di kalangan mahasiswa angkatan 2019 yang telah menyelesaikan mata kuliah microteaching, dan untuk mengetahui apakah mata kuliah microteaching memiliki pengaruh terhadap minat mahasiswa dalam profesi mengajar. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dan menggunakan teknik kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penggunaan kuesioner. Instrumen penelitian adalah kuesioner online. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji kecenderungan, dan uji normalitas adalah uji analisis yang diperlukan. Dengan menggunakan uji t, uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment, dan koefisien determinasi, hipotesis dari penelitian ini diuji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mata kuliah microteaching yang diselenggarakan dalam program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan FPTK UPI cenderung masuk ke dalam kategori "cukup baik", bahwa mahasiswa yang telah menyelesaikan mata kuliah microteaching cenderung memiliki tingkat minat yang "moderate" terhadap karier mengajar, dan bahwa kuliah microteaching berkontribusi pada kategori rendah minat untuk menjadi seorang guru. Sebagai saran, institusi atau perguruan tinggi sebaiknya memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan untuk melakukan latihan mengajar di berbagai pengaturan kelas, seperti di dalam bengkel.

Abstract

The social interaction that occurs between the community and the Darul Amilin Islamic Boarding School, this activity is supported by several important factors played by the pesantren caregivers while the community feels there is a need for the pesantren. Meanwhile, pesantren activities always involve the community in various activities that have a very prominent role in educating the community, while the community also feels that they cannot separate themselves from this institution. This study aims to find out how the pattern of community interaction with Islamic boarding schools. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach through observation and interviews. The data obtained were interpreted using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study found that the relationship between community interaction and Islamic boarding schools was well established, but there was an openness between Islamic boarding schools and the community in the form of decision making in the implementation of activities and education. Abstrak Interaksi sosial yang terjadi antara masyarakat dengan pesantren Darul Amilin, kegiatan tersebut didukung oleh beberapa faktor penting yang diperankan oleh pengasuh pesantren sementara pihak masyarakat terasa ada kebutuhan terhadap pesantren. Dalam pada itu kegiatan, pesantren senantiasa melibatkan masyarakat dalam berbagai kegiatan yang sanggat menonjol peran mencerdaskan masyarakat, sedangkan masyarakat juga merasa tidak dapat memisahkan diri dari lembaga ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pola interaksi masyarakat dengan pesantren. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif melalui observasi dan wawancara. Data yang diperoleh diinterpretasikan dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menemukan hubungan interaksi masyarakat dengan pesantren terjalin dengan baik, akan tetapi adanya ke tidak terbukaan antara pesantren dan masyarakat berupa pengambilan keputusan dalam penyelenggaraan kegiatan maupun pendidikan.

Abstract

AbstractCancer is one of the four major diseases in society. And can attack all walks of life without exception and without knowing social status, age or gender. Children, adolescents, and adults have not escaped this deadly attack. But from the data available most women are affected by cancer. Breast cancer still ranks first in new cases and cancer deaths, amounting to 43.3% and 12.9%. The highest cancer suffered by Indonesian women is breast cancer with an incidence of 26 per 100,000 women. One effort that can be done to prevent breast cancer is to implement a healthy lifestyle and breast self-awareness (BSE). This examination can detect breast cancer early and almost 85% of lumps in a woman's breast are found by the sufferers themselves. The Care for society program aims to improve adolescent reproductive health through BSE examination as a screening for disease. The implementation of BSE program assistance was carried out for high school students (Muhammadiyah I High School) in Pontianak. Presentation of Information to Teachers and School UKS Officers to periodically inform of BSE and provide direct assistance to students in conducting BSE examination. An increase in average knowledge after being given an explanation of breast cancer in students and skills in BSE examination after being given assistance. BSE Assistance by Health Workers and UKS Officers increases students' knowledge and awareness to conduct BSE examination in an effort to prevent breast cancer events.

Abstract

Kecerdasan emosional memiliki kontribusi yang signifikan dalam pembentukan resiliensi siswa Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK), khususnya karena lulusan SMK sering kali dihadapkan pada tantangan yang kompleks di dunia kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dan resiliensi siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui metode asosiatif dan deskriptif. Dalam penelitian ini, populasi yang diteliti berjumlah 69 siswa, dengan sampel sebanyak 44 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dirancang khusus untuk mengukur tingkat kecerdasan emosional dan resiliensi. Untuk menganalisis data, penelitian ini menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji kecenderungan. Analisis korelasi produk momen Pearson diterapkan untuk mengetahui kekuatan hubungan antara kedua variabel. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional siswa berada pada tingkat yang cukup baik, menandakan bahwa mereka mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengendalikan diri dan mengungkapkan emosi positif. Sementara itu, resiliensi dalam menghadapi dunia kerja juga berada pada tingkat yang baik, yang berarti mereka memiliki ketahanan yang memadai untuk menghadapi tantangan di masa depan. Terdapat hubungan kuat dan penting antara kecerdasan emosional dengan resiliensi dalam menghadapi dunia kerja. Sebagai rekomendasi, diusulkan untuk mengimplementasikan aktivitas yang memanfaatkan teknologi terkini, sehingga siswa dapat lebih matang secara emosional dalam menghadapi dunia kerja

Abstract

Background : Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by hyperglycemia or high levels of glucose in the blood due to impaired insulin secretion, decreased insulin action or a result of both. The risk of developing type 2 diabetes will continue to increase with increasing age, obesity, and lack of physical activity (American Diabetes Association, 2018). Objective: To determine the effect of providing sleep management books and foot massage on ankle brachial index (ABI) values in patients with type II diabetes mellitus. Research Methods: The design used in this study was One group pre test - post test design, where in this study the sample was observed first before being given treatment then after being given treatment the sample was re-observed (Hidayat, 2007). Results: The results of statistical tests with the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test at α 5% obtained a Ankle Brachial Index value (p value 0.000 <0.05). Ha accepted. Conclusion: there is an effect of sleep management books and foot massage on changes in Ankle Brachial Index values.Keywords : Ankle Brachial Index, Foot Massage, Sleep Management Book, Diabetes mellitus type 2

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the mathematical representation ability of SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap students on Pythagorean theory material using visual, symbolic, and verbal strategies. The method used was quantitative descriptive with the research subjects of 36 students in class X. The collection method included questionnaires, reports, and documentation. The instruments used for data collection in this study are mathematical representation test questions and interviews. Data analysis techniques are carried out with quantitative data analysis techniques and descriptive analysis techniques. Based on the test results, it shows that students' mathematical representation skills need to be improved, with an achievement rate of 43% with a medium category. Students' visual representation ability was only 36%, while verbal and symbolic representation was much higher, at 42% and 50%, respectively. In general, students can answer the questions correctly, but there are errors in interpreting and translating the representation between visual, symbolic, and verbal. These findings point to the need for improved understanding and translation between different forms of mathematical representation to improve understanding of the concept of the Pythagorean theorem.
