Abstract

This study aimed to develop the Smart Music Train Educational Play Tool (KECEMUK) as a stimulation medium for children with special needs, particularly children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The analysis stage was conducted through observations and interviews to identify children's needs and learning conditions. The design stage produced a train-shaped educational play tool equipped with percussion musical instruments. The product was then developed and validated by media experts, material experts, and early childhood education practitioners. After revisions, the product was implemented with Group B children aged 5–6 years at Bina Ananda Mandiri Marelan Foundation. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and questionnaires and analyzed descriptively using percentage techniques. The findings revealed that KECEMUK achieved a feasibility score of 77%, categorized as very good. The use of KECEMUK increased children's interest in music learning activities, encouraged active participation, and supported the development of social and emotional skills. Therefore, KECEMUK is feasible to be used as a music-based learning medium to stimulate the development of children with special needs.

Abstract

Permainan tradisional engklek diakui secara empiris mampu menstimulasi aspek motorik kasar anak, namun implementasinya di satuan PAUD (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini) menghadapi kendala keterbatasan ruang, keamanan lingkungan, dan minimnya umpan balik berbasis data bagi pendidik serta rendahnya ketertarikan anak dengan permainan tradisional. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan desain permainan tradisional engklek berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang mengintegrasikan sensor ultrasonik, mikrokontroler ESP32, dan sistem umpan balik audio-visual sebagai alat deteksi gerakan motorik kasar anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) model ADDIE pada tahapan analisis dan desain. Hasil desain perangkat menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini akan mampu mendeteksi pola gerakan melompat anak pada 7 garis batas kotak memberikan umpan balik bunyi buzzer secara real-time, serta meningkatkan keterlibatan (engagement) dan ketertarikan anak memainkan permainan tradisional. Permainan tradisional engklek berbasis IoT berpotensi menjadi inovasi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk stimulasi motorik kasar anak usia dini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh kegiatan bermain peran terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK SALSA. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan One Group Pretest–Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 28 anak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dengan instrumen penilaian yang meliputi tiga indikator utama, yaitu: (1) mengenali emosi, (2) mampu mengendalikan keinginan sebagai sikap menghargai keinginan orang lain, dan (3) mampu berinteraksi dengan teman sebaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata skor pretest sebesar 69,14% termasuk dalam kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH), sedangkan rata-rata skor posttest meningkat menjadi 93,97% yang tergolong Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB). Peningkatan skor juga terjadi pada setiap indikator, dengan rata-rata skor posttest untuk mengenali emosi sebesar 94,0%, mengendalikan keinginan sebesar 94,0%, dan berinteraksi dengan teman sebaya sebesar 93,9%. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan bermain peran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap perkembangan sosial emosional anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK SALSA. Kata Kunci: anak usia dini, bermain peran, pembelajaran PAUD, perkembangan sosial emosional   Abstract: This study aims to examine the effect of role-playing activities on the social-emotional development of children aged 5–6 years at TK SALSA. A quantitative approach was employed using an experimental method with a One-Group Pretest–Posttest Design. The participants consisted of 28 children. Data were collected through systematic-observation utilizing an assessment instrument encompassing three core indicators: (1) emotional recognition, (2) self-regulation and respect for others’ desires, and (3) peer interaction The findings revealed that the mean pretest score was 69.14%, categorized as Developing as Expected (BSH), while the mean posttest score increased to 93.97%, categorized as Very Well Developed (BSB). Significant improvements were also observed across all indicators, with posttest averages of 94.0% for emotional recognition, 94.0% for self-regulation, and 93.9% for peer interaction. These results demonstrate that role-playing activities exert a positive and significant influence on the social-emotional development of children aged 5–6 years at Tk Salsa
