Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has had a major impact on various aspects of government administration, including asset and inventory management. In Buduran District, Sidoarjo Regency, inventory data recording is still done manually. This unintegrated system often causes data inconsistencies, difficulties in tracking goods, and inefficiency in the reporting and auditing processes. To overcome these problems, this study designed a web-based inventory information system using the Agile development method. The Agile method allows for gradual system development with user feedback at each iteration, making the system more adaptive to field needs. This system enables digital inventory recording, tracking, and reporting, thereby improving the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of asset management. Testing using the Black Box method showed that all system features, both from the user and admin sides, worked as expected with a 100% success rate. In addition, the results of the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) showed a user satisfaction rate of 95.6% from five respondents, consisting of two administrators and three staff members. The developed system is expected to improve operational effectiveness and support better decision-making in asset management at the sub-district level.

Abstract

The phenomenon of corruption in Indonesia, particularly the alleged misuse of grant funds in East Java Province, has triggered various public responses, many of which have been expressed through comments on YouTube. This study aims to categorize and analyze public sentiment on this issue by applying the Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithm. The data used consists of 1,039 relevant comments collected from several YouTube videos related to the case. The comments were processed through text pre-processing stages, which included case folding, tokenizing, text cleaning, removal of stopwords, stemming, and transformation using the Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF) method. Next, the data was manually labeled into three sentiment categories: positive, negative, and neutral. The data was then divided into training and test data with a ratio of 80:20, and used to train and test the classification model. Evaluation was carried out using accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score metrics. The results of the study show that the SVM algorithm performs well in classifying public sentiment, so it has the potential to be used as a tool to automatically identify public perceptions of developing social and political issues.

Abstract

There is an increasing demand for educational institutions to digitize the New Student Admission (PPDB) process in order to improve transparency and ease of management and operations. PG TK Aisyiyah VI Candi, located in Durung Bedug Village, Candi District, Sidoarjo Regency, currently still implements conventional student admission procedures. This situation causes long waiting times, inefficient documentation processes, and the potential for errors in data recording and entry. This study designs a web-based information system infrastructure with an End User Development (EUD) approach that aims to improve service quality, reduce administrative burdens, and increase stakeholder satisfaction. The EUD approach is a good model because it allows non-technical staff to customize the system according to their operational needs without full dependence on technical assistance, while maintaining system agility through feedback from stakeholders. The main features of this system include online registration initiated by parents, data transmission for file sharing, student identity verification by the school, and an electronic registration process. Validation results show that the system is capable of performing key functions such as identity verification, digital form management, document validation, process monitoring, and management analytics. This infrastructure not only achieves technical optimization but also drives the advancement of digital transformation in early childhood education institutions.

Abstract

The use of information technology at the Sidoarjo Regency Manpower Office has had a positive impact on job training services. Computerized systems are currently the most important part of advances in information technology. Therefore, the author wishes to develop a computer system that can facilitate the work of the Sidoarjo Regency Manpower Office in meeting the needs of the Manpower Office and the community regarding the job training system in the city of Sidoarjo. The objective of this job training information system is to eliminate the need for people to come to the Manpower Office to manually register for training in the Sidoarjo area. The techniques used in this application are the waterfall method and the CodeIgniter framework.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between metaverse-ready digital infrastructure and logistics performance in BRICS economies. Although the metaverse is increasingly discussed as a transformative digital ecosystem for business, logistics, and supply chain operations, empirical evidence on its infrastructure foundations remains limited, particularly in emerging economies. To address this gap, the study constructs a Metaverse Infrastructure Index (MII) based on internet usage, fixed broadband subscriptions, mobile cellular subscriptions, and ICT service exports. The analysis covers five BRICS economies—Brazil, China, India, Russia, and South Africa—across seven years: 2007, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2023. The final dataset comprises 35 country-year observations. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation analysis, multiple linear regression, and panel regression models are employed. Pooled OLS results do not reveal a statistically significant relationship between MII and logistics performance. However, both Fixed Effects and Random Effects models show that MII has a positive and statistically significant effect on logistics performance when country-specific heterogeneity is taken into account. The Hausman test indicates that the Random Effects model may be preferred. The findings suggest that metaverse-ready digital infrastructure can contribute to logistics performance in BRICS economies, but its effect becomes visible only when country-level structural differences are considered.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a web-based Information System for Consumable Goods Control at the Department of Public Works, Highways, and Water Resources of Sidoarjo Regency. The primary constraint in this institution lies in the manual inventory recording system, which is prone to data irregularities, reporting delays, and suboptimal stock control. To address these issues, this study employs the Research and Development (R&D) method with a Waterfall development model, encompassing the stages of preparation, system design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. The software is built using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, featuring master data management, transaction recording for incoming and outgoing goods, and real-time stock reporting. Based on the results of black-box testing, the system achieved a 100% success rate, proving that all functions operate according to specifications. The implementation of this system is expected to enhance data accuracy, operational efficiency, and transparency in managing consumable goods.

Abstract

The development of an information system in this study was carried out to meet the needs of the Sidoarjo Regency Environment and Sanitation Agency (DLHK) for an integrated system. More specifically, this web-based system was designed to handle services related to the use of Green Open Spaces (RTH), which until now have been dependent on manual processes and have lacked data integration. This condition has the potential to hinder the optimization of management, supervision, and service quality. In building the system, the researchers chose the Waterfall method. The reason is that this method provides clear and sequential stages. We went through these stages, starting from analyzing user needs at DLHK, then designing the system and database, then programming using a specific language, then testing the system, and finally preparing maintenance documents. To ensure that the system runs well, two types of tests were conducted. The first test was a Black Box functional test with 27 scenarios created based on use case schemes. The second test was a User Acceptance Test (UAT) involving potential users to fill out questionnaires. The results of this series of tests were encouraging. In the Black Box test, 96.3% of the functions were recorded as successful. According to the researchers, this figure shows that almost all core features are functioning optimally. Meanwhile, in the UAT, the user satisfaction score reached 91%. Based on our interpretation, this score falls into the "very satisfied" category and proves that the system is well received at the end-user level.

Abstract

The process of applying for facilities and infrastructure grants at private elementary schools in Sidoarjo Regency is still mostly handled manually, which sometimes results in delays, recording errors, and difficulties in collecting data for each application. Therefore, researchers developed a web-based information system called Sidohibah. The system was developed in stages, adapting to user needs. The implementation results show that this system is capable of improving administrative efficiency while strengthening transparency in grant management.

Abstract

This article examines the macroeconomic implications of the emerging postmortem economy at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), the metaverse, digital inheritance, and autonomous digital agency. Conventional macroeconomic models typically define production in terms of physical capital and biologically living human labor. However, the rise of autonomous digital twins, orphaned algorithms, posthumous AI agents, and inherited digital assets challenges this traditional distinction. Digital assets and AI-mediated representations may continue to generate economic value after the death of their original human owners, raising new questions for production theory, inflation dynamics, taxation, liquidity, and income distribution. To address this gap, this article proposes the “ghost factor of production” and introduces “ghost capital” as an analytical category for modeling autonomous and posthumous digital productive capacity. Rather than claiming that deceased individuals continue to work, the framework conceptualizes how data, digital assets, synthetic identities, AI agents, and digital twins may extend economic agency beyond biological life. This article further examines the asymmetric price dynamics associated with AI adoption, defined here as “AI inflation,” and explores how ghost-to-ghost (G2G) commerce among autonomous digital agents may affect liquidity, taxation, and intergenerational wealth distribution. Using conceptual system dynamics and a scenario-based simulation framework, the study discusses potential digital asset liquidity traps and inheritance-tax paradoxes. The article contributes to debates on digital inheritance, AI-mediated production, and metaverse economies by offering a new macroeconomic perspective on postmortem digital agency.
