Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the differences in learning outcomes through the implementation of the Cooperative Learning Model of Project-Based Learning type and Example Non-Example in Geography subject in grade X at SMA Negeri 9 Palu. This research used a non-randomized pretest-posttest control group design. The population was all students in grade X consisting of five classes with a total of 107 students. The sample consisted of two classes which are class X MIA 3 as an experimental class totaling to 21 students and class X MIA 1 as a control class totaling to 21 students. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Hypothesis testing in this research there are differences in learning outcomes through the implementation of Project Based Learning model and Example Non Example, to determine the hypothesis used the Mann-Whitney U-Test analysis the results show a value of Zcounted < Ztable (-1.879 < -1.96) with a significance level of 0.05. These results can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed rejects Ha, there is no difference in learning outcomes through the implementation of the Cooperative learning model of Project Based Learning and Example Non-Example.

Abstract

This study aims to develop the problem-based learning which is valid, practical, and effective. The development of the learning model in this study using a model of the development of the 4-D app developed by Thiagarajan, Semmel & Semmel have been modified. The results showed that the learning device developed researchers can be said to be valid based on the table of criterion validity, with the value of 3.13, then said practically by looking at the practicality of the observation device problem-based learning 1.76 from the category of feasibility (of 1.5 ≤ M ≤ 2,0). Then said to be effective by looking at the level of the ability of teachers in managing to learn is 3.3 criteria (3.00 ≤ tkg 4.00). The activity of students in learning the average time that students meet the ideal time, students ' response to the student book and LKPD said to be very positive because it is included in the category of (3,5 ≤ RS < 4,0), and the level of achievement of the learning outcomes of students can be seen with the completion of all the students in the class, which amounts to 15 people, so the device problem-based learning on learning geography has met the criteria of valid, practical and effective, and feasible to be developed in the process of teaching and learning.

Abstract

The aim of this research is (1) Describe the background of social conflict in Pengawu Village and Duyu Village. (2) Describe the implications of social conflict in Pengawu Village and Duyu Village for students at SMAN 6 Palu. By using a Qualitative Descriptive Method. The data analysis unit is students at SMAN 6 Palu. Sampling using Snowball sampling technique. The number of informants is 15 people. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data collected were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that there were four factors causing conflicts in Pengawu Village and Duyu Village, namely alcoholism, anger, generational disparity, and the economy. The implications of community conflict with students at SMAN 6 Palu are fear of going to school, moving to another school, the concentration of learning is decreasing and the interest of prospective new students at SMAN 6 Palu is decreasing.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is description people's behavior, identify the factors that influence people's behavior, and identify the policy that is applied for environmental health in the beach Village of Ketong Kecamatan Balaesang Tanjung Kabupaten Donggala. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data analysis techniques include data reduction data presentation, and conclusion. The results showed 1) the Behavior of the public against the health of the environment focused on two indicators of environmental health and the provision of facilities of family latrines. The behavior of the villagers Ketong in the garbage disposal is still relatively less, the provision of latrine facilities family, the government had taken action by making family latrines are common. (2) the Factors that affect the behavior of the public against the health of the environment there are three, namely, public awareness of environmental health is still relatively low, people's understanding of the health of the environment that is already understood the society and habits of society that are difficult to be changed, and the provision of means of hygiene which is relatively less and far from adequate. (3) Policies related to the health of the environment are still the planning process that is applied in 2021. The policy is creating trash in every household, making LANDFILL, recycling, and making family latrines to the public (5-10 KK) in one environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the Socio-Economic Conditions of the Community in the surrounding Attractions Statue of the Lord Jesus Buntu Burake, (2) the Impact of the Attractions Statue of the Lord Jesus against the socio-economic conditions of communities around Buntu Burake of Tana Toraja. The subject in this research is the Branch of Attractions, Parking, and Traders. The research method used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study showed that the socio-economic conditions of people with its attractions, namely the community were originally only worked as a fuckin buildings, housewives, farmers and some even do not have a job or unemployment. With its attractions then provide enormous opportunities for the community to plunge into the tourism sector, they are working as the manager's Attractions, a Parking Attendant, and some work as sellers/traders, then they automatically earn income. The income that is produced by that is if the attraction is visited then the income of the community of about 200.000-600.000 and if the object of its empty then the income of the community of about 100.000-Rp300.000. Attractions Statue of the Lord Jesus has given impact on the socio-economic conditions of communities around Buntu Burake such as create jobs, increasing incomes and also the government, and the impact on development.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the behavior of internet use among students of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Tadulako University. The type of research used is quantitative research with survey methods. There are 3 variables in this research, namely human resources, internet facilities, and supporting facilities. The results showed: 1) All FKIP Universitas Tadulako students were able to use the internet with a percentage of 100%. 2) All FKIP Universitas Tadulako students had devices to access the internet, 42% had laptops and 100% had smartphones. 3) All students of FKIP Universitas Tadulako were covered by internet network with the category of internet speed of 15.67% very fast, 43.63 % fast, 29.65 % quite fast, and 11.06 % slow.

Abstract

The government has set a new policy related to the increasing growth rate of covid 19, especially on the islands of Java and Bali, because the rate of transmission of the Covid-19 virus is expected to be higher due to the high mobility of citizens during the Eid holidays and the new variant of SARS-CoV-2 (Delta). Wednesday, July 5, 2021, recorded a daily addition of 29,745 new cases. The highest Covid-19 (daily) transmission on July 6, 2021, was recorded at 31,189 cases. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method that aims to explain, reveal and get a proper description of the PPKM level 4 policy on the economy of the Kanigaran Village community, Probolinggo City. The location determination is based on group considerations, to find out how a level 4 PPKM policy will affect the field economy. However, many people are also not happy with the policy because it causes a decline in the economy or income. One of them is Kanigaran Village around Glaser Plaza and Roundabout. There was a road closure that was closely guarded by the Police and Satpot PP so that people who wanted to enter the area had to know the system when the road was opened and closed. The impact of the PPKM level 4 policy which has been implemented since July 6, 2021, has indeed affected the economy of the community, including those who risk their income from trading results.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is how the role of the teacher of geography and what are the inhibiting factors faced by teachers of geography in the formation of character values through online learning class XI IPS 2 MAN 1 Palu. Type descriptive qualitative research with the percentage. The subject in this research is the teacher of geography and the students of class XI IPS 2 MAN 1 Palu. Data collection techniques used in this research are a questionnaire (questioner), interview, and documentation. The results showed that the geography teacher role as a motivator in the formation of character values of students of class XI IPS 2 MAN 1 Palu, teachers play a role in guiding students in the learning process, the teacher stressed to do any given task, teachers ban students cheat well it's in the task and in Deuteronomy, as well as the teacher told the students to collect the task on time, teachers guide the activities of students which is associated with religious as fixed reminiscent of prayers to the students, although the learning is done online, and always pray before the start of learning. However, in practice, there are inhibiting factors faced by teachers of geography, namely the lack of attention of parents of students in the house to guide her but only expect fully to the teacher to guide the students.
