Abstract

The palm oil industry is a strategic global agribusiness sector, yet research on marketing strategies remains fragmented compared with studies on production, environmental issues, and trade. This study aims to examine and map the development of marketing strategy research in the global palm oil industry, focusing on research trends, major themes, gaps, and future directions. A bibliometric approach was employed using 45 publications indexed in Scopus. Data were analyzed using VOSviewer through publication trend analysis and keyword co-occurrence, network, overlay, and density visualizations. The findings show that research interest has increased substantially in recent years, with Indonesia contributing the largest number of publications. Keyword mapping identifies palm oil as the central research focus, closely associated with marketing, marketing strategy, green marketing, sustainability, commerce, and food supply. However, production, environmental, and technical themes remain more prominent than contemporary marketing dimensions. The findings reveal gaps in digital marketing, branding, consumer behavior, and customer engagement. Marketing strategy research in the palm oil industry is developing toward sustainability-oriented approaches but remains an emerging field with considerable opportunities for more consumer-centered and digitally driven research.

Abstract

Innovative work behavior is increasingly essential for organizational competitiveness, yet its determinants remain inconsistent, particularly in construction-related service companies facing challenges in employee initiative and adaptation to changing work demands. This study examines the effects of person–job fit, organizational culture, and organizational commitment on innovative work behavior, with work engagement as an intervening variable. A quantitative approach was used, employing a census sampling technique with 80 respondents. Data were collected through a validated and reliable questionnaire and analyzed using partial least squares. The findings indicate that organizational culture significantly and positively affects innovative work behavior, whereas person–job fit and organizational commitment have positive but insignificant direct effects. However, work engagement significantly mediates the effects of person–job fit, organizational culture, and organizational commitment on innovative work behavior. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening work engagement as a mechanism for translating person–job fit, organizational culture, and commitment into innovative behavior. Organizations should foster supportive work environments and engagement-oriented practices to encourage employee innovation and improve organizational adaptability.

Abstract

Internet Financial Reporting (IFR) is an important mechanism for enhancing transparency and accountability in regional financial management by providing public access to government financial information. This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of regional wealth, regional expenditure, and debt financing ratio on internet financial reporting in Indonesia. This study employs a quantitative approach using secondary data from Provincial Government Financial Reports for the 2022–2024 fiscal years, obtained from the Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia and provincial government websites. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that regional wealth and debt financing ratio do not significantly influence IFR, while regional expenditure has a significant influence on IFR. Simultaneously, regional wealth, regional expenditure, and debt financing ratio significantly influence IFR. These findings suggest that regional expenditure plays a more important role in encouraging financial information disclosure through digital platforms, while regional wealth and debt financing ratio alone are insufficient to determine the extent of IFR. Therefore, strengthening expenditure management and digital disclosure practices is important to improve transparency and public accountability in regional financial management.

Abstract

Village fund management requires strong accountability to ensure that public resources are managed transparently, responsibly, and in accordance with applicable regulations. This study examines the effects of community participation, apparatus competence, and information technology utilization on village fund management accountability, both separately and simultaneously. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey of 78 village heads and village financial management technical implementation team members from 13 villages. Data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 25, including t-tests and an F-test. The findings demonstrate that community participation has a positive and significant effect on village fund management accountability (B = 0.143; p = 0.002). Apparatus competence also has a positive and significant effect (B = 0.304; p = 0.006), while information technology utilization has the strongest positive and significant effect (B = 0.383; p = 0.002). Simultaneously, all three variables significantly affect accountability (F = 54.901; p < 0.001). The findings conclude that strengthening participatory governance, apparatus competence, and information technology utilization is essential for improving village fund management accountability.

Abstract

Employee performance in the retail sector may be influenced by leadership practices, job training, and workload amid challenges related to supervisory support, inconsistent training, and increasing work demands. This study examines the effects of leadership, job training, and workload on employee performance. A quantitative approach with a causal-associative design was employed, involving 63 employees selected through simple random sampling from a population of 165 employees. Data were collected through questionnaires using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling with SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that the model explains 88.0% of the variance in employee performance. Leadership has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance, while job training also has a positive but insignificant effect. In contrast, workload has a positive and significant effect. Retail managers should prioritize effective and proportional workload management while maintaining supportive leadership and structured training. These findings highlight the importance of a holistic human resource management approach in dynamic retail environments.

A quantitative survey was conducted among all employees of the Regional Revenue Agency of South Kalimantan Province, UPPD Banjarbaru, using census sampling. Data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The findings indicate that career development does not have a significant direct effect on employee performance. However, career development has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Work discipline has a positive and significant effect on both employee performance and organizational commitment. Furthermore, organizational commitment positively and significantly influences employee performance. The mediation analysis demonstrates that organizational commitment positively and significantly mediates the relationship between career development and employee performance, as well as the relationship between work discipline and employee performance. These findings highlight that improvements in employee performance are influenced not only by direct organizational factors but also through the enhancement of employees’ organizational commitment. This study contributes to improving employee performance through organizational commitment.
