Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Human Resource Development and organizational culture on employee performance at the Lebong Regency DPMPTSP Office. The sample in this study was 46 employees at the Lebong Regency DPMPTSP Office. The data was collected using a questionnaire and the analytical method used was multiple linear regression, determination test and hypothesis testing. The results of the regression analysis show Y = 7.828 + 0.386X1 + 0.445 X2, this describes a positive regression direction, meaning that there is a positive influence between X1 (HR development) and X2 (organizational culture) on performance (Y). It means that if the variables of HR development and organizational culture increase, it will increase performance. The value of the coefficient of determination is 0.557. This means that X1 (HR development) and X2 (organizational culture) affect performance (Y) by 55.7% while the remaining 44.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The results of the t-test at a significance level of 0.05 explain that partially the variables of HR development and organizational culture have a significant influence on employee performance variables at the Lebong Regency DPMPTSP Office. The results of the F test at a significance level of 0.05 explain that the variables of HR development and organizational culture have a significant simultaneous influence on employee performance at the Lebong Regency DPMPTSP Office.

Abstract

Changes in the organisation are inevitable when implementing an information system project. The information system implementation process involves the introduction of new technology, changes to business processes, and user adaptation to these changes. These changes can affect various aspects of the organisation, including structure, culture and employee behaviour. This abstract aims to analyse the changes in organisations that occur during the implementation of information systems projects. Firstly, structural changes can occur as a result of the introduction of a new information system. The organisation may need to update or change its hierarchical structure, division of tasks and communication channels to suit the needs of the new system. These changes can lead to organisational restructuring that is more efficient and responsive to technological demands. Secondly, cultural changes may occur as organisations adapt to changes in information systems. Organisational cultures accustomed to old ways of working may face resistance to change. However, through training and effective communication, organisations can build a culture that supports innovation, collaboration and adaptability. Positive cultural change is essential to ensure successful use of information systems. Thirdly, employee behaviour change is a critical component of information system implementation. Employees need to develop new skills, learn new workflows, and adapt to the changes brought about by information systems. Good training and strong management support can help reduce the uncertainty and anxiety that employees may experience during change. Employees who are able to adapt quickly and effectively will maximise the benefits of the implemented information system. In conclusion, the implementation of an information systems project brings about significant changes in the organisation. Structural, cultural and employee behavioural changes are important aspects that must be managed properly for a successful information system implementation. In the face of these changes, management must implement appropriate communication, training and support strategies to ensure good acceptance and adoption by all members of the organisation. Thus, organisational change can be an opportunity to create a more efficient, innovative and adaptive environment in the face of information technology development.

Abstract

In an organisation, change is a process that cannot be avoided. The process of moving an organisation from where it is now to where it wants to be in the future is known as organisational change. To anticipate and answer future challenges, an organisation will always undergo changes. Changes in an organisation can come from outside or from within, in the form of planned or structural changes that need to be managed properly. For an organisation to progress, management is needed to facilitate the change process. Whether or not an organisation progresses has a significant impact on its success or failure. Changes in hierarchy are generally not accepted on the grounds that for every change there will be constraints. Organisational failure can be caused by organisational change; consequently, effective management is essential for progress.

The sample in this study was 33 employees at the Ulu Musi Sub-District Office, Empat Lawang Regency. Data collection using questionnaires and the analysis method used is multiple linear regression, determination test and hypothesis testing. The results of multiple linear regression calculations obtained multiple linear regression equations Y = 8.650 + 0.334X1 + 0.478X2. The coefficient of determination of the Adjusted R square value is 0.455. This means that X1 (work ability), and X2 (work motivation) affect performance (Y) by 45.5% while the remaining 54.5% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study. The F test results show that the significance is 0.000 <0.05. Because the level of significance is below 0.05, it shows that together X1 (work ability) and X2 (work motivation) have a positive and significant influence together on performance (Y). Work ability has a positive and significant effect on performance because the significant value is 0.041 <0.05, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance because the value is 0.007 <0.05.

This type of research is a type of quantitative descriptive research with a sample withdrawal method using total sampling technique. The number of respondents in this study were 66 people. There are several data analysis techniques used in this study, including using instrument tests, classical assumption tests, respondent response analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, and also hypothesis testing. From the results of the multiple linear regression test, the regression equation is obtained as follows: Y = 53.481 + 0.930 (X1) + 0.539 (X2). The results of the t hypothesis test on the motivation variable tcount> ttable which is equal to (2.976> 1.66901) and sig value. (0.004 < α 0.05), the work discipline variable shows tcount> ttable (2.722> 1.66901) and sig value. (0,008 < α 0,05). The f test results show Fcount> Ftable 26.666> 2.75 and sig value. (0,000 < α 0,05). So it can be concluded that motivation and work discipline together have a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Adira Finance Bengkulu City.

Abstract

Value Added Tax is a tax imposed on the consumption of goods and services within the customs area. The contribution of Value Added Tax is considered important for state income because it is the second largest contributor to this type of tax. Value Added Tax is directly related to people's behavior in consuming goods and services which is closely related to the macroeconomic conditions of a country, therefore this research uses macro-economic variables in the form of inflation and the rupiah exchange rate. Apart from that, internal roles to maximize Value Added Tax revenues also need to be considered, such as the number of Taxable Entrepreneurs who have the obligation to collect, deposit and report Value Added Tax payable. Data on inflation, rupiah exchange rate and number of Taxable Entrepreneurs used are secondary data from 2010-2014. This type of research uses explanatory research using a quantitative approach method. Based on the independent variables in the form of inflation data, the rupiah exchange rate and the number of Taxable Entrepreneurs, while the dependent variable uses Value Added Tax revenues, the analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the t and F hypothesis tests, the independent variable has a partial and simultaneous influence on the dependent variable. Based on the Adjusted R Square value, it shows that the dependent variable can be explained by 51.3% by the independent variable.
