Abstract

Coastal and participatory development is a challenge as well as an opportunity for local governments in realizing the welfare of coastal communities without ignoring environmental sustainability. This study discusses various strategies carried out by local governments in encouraging coastal development that is oriented towards and involving the community. Through a multidimensional approach that includes social, economic, and environmental aspects, local governments are expected to be able to integrate policies that are responsive to the needs of the community and the ecological conditions of coastal areas. Strategies such as strengthening local institutions, increasing community capacity, and actively involving stakeholders are the main keys to creating inclusive development. In addition, the importance of socialization, wise management of natural resources, and cross-sector collaboration also support the achievement of development goals.

Abstract

Renewable energy transformation is one of the pillars of realizing sustainable development in Indonesia. This study aims to evaluate the Indonesian government's policies in supporting renewable energy transformation, assess the extent of its implementation at the national and regional levels, and identify the challenges and obstacles faced in the process. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this study analyzes various policies and implementation in the field based on secondary data from journals, government reports, and scientific publications. The results of the study show that although Indonesia has had a strong commitment through various regulations, its implementation still faces various obstacles, especially related to funding, infrastructure readiness, and coordination between institutions. For this reason, a more integrative and collaborative strategy is needed between the central government, regional governments, the private sector, and the community so that the energy transition can take place more effectively and evenly. This study is expected to contribute to the formulation of energy policies that are more adaptive and responsive to the dynamics of sustainable development in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the social construction of environmental risks and their implications for public participation in sustainable development planning. development that often has negative impacts on the environment, perceptions and communities towards risks play a role in determining their level of participation. Through a qualitative approach with literature studies and document analysis, this study found that environmental risk perceptions are not only shaped by scientific knowledge, but also by social values, culture, collective experiences, and access to information. When communities view environmental risks as real threats to their lives, participation in the planning process tends to increase. Conversely, if risks are considered abstract or manipulated by certain interests, participation becomes low. These findings indicate the importance of open dialogue between the government, development actors, and communities to build together. Social construction of environmental risks plays a strategic role in shaping collective action and the direction of more inclusive and sustainable development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the green economy concept in the development of the education, tourism, and recreation sectors in Palangka Raya City, as well as the challenges faced by the government in supporting sustainable development. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach through literature studies and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of the green economy in the education sector encourages the integration of environmentally based curriculum and strengthening student awareness of sustainability issues. In the tourism and recreation sector, the principles of the green economy are implemented through the management of ecotourism-based destinations and the preservation of the natural environment. However, challenges such as limited human resources, inadequate infrastructure, and cross-sector coordination are still major obstacles. In addition, this study also revealed that the application of the green economy contributes significantly to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the achievement of several sustainable development goals (TPB/SDGs), especially in environmental aspects. Therefore, synergistic efforts are needed between the government, society, and the private sector to optimize the implementation of the green economy in Palangka Raya.

Abstract

The eruption of Mount Semeru in December 2021 had multidimensional impacts on affected communities, not only physically and economically but also psychologically. This article aims to examine various psychosocial intervention approaches for disaster survivors, particularly children and other vulnerable groups, in the aftermath of the eruption. This study employs a literature review method, analyzing nine national journal articles selected based on their relevance to the topic and intervention strategies. The findings indicate that methods such as trauma healing, play therapy, Psychological First Aid (PFA), and mental health nursing interventions are effective in reducing trauma symptoms and improving the psychological well-being of survivors. Participatory and community-based approaches, such as Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) and Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), have shown more sustainable and contextually relevant outcomes. This study concludes that strengthening holistic and locally driven psychosocial interventions is essential in post-disaster recovery strategies.
