This study aims to describe the sense of belonging to family in adolescents whose parents divorced and remarried. Parental divorce in adolescence is a significant event that impacts changes in a child's social and emotional life. During this time, adolescents go through various important transitions that affect the development of their identity. A sense of belonging is considered a key element in ensuring that teens feel accepted, valued, and supported in the family. This study involved four resource persons, namely two subjects of adolescent girls aged 18-20 years and two significant others. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews with subjects and significant others. The results of the study showed that there was a difference in adolescents' sense of belonging depending on the post-divorce parental relationship. Teens whose parents can reconcile and build healthy communication tend to feel more valued and more connected to their families, even after remarriage. In contrast, teens whose parents are unable to reconcile with divorce tend to feel isolated and have difficulty building strong relationships with their families. These findings emphasize the importance of the role of parents in supporting the emotional recovery process and the development of a sense of belonging in adolescents after divorce.

This study introduces the Divine Eyes Principle (DEP) as an innovative framework that integrates spiritual oversight into Islamic financial governance. Building upon the conventional Four Eyes Principle (FEP)—a risk control mechanism emphasizing dual authorization—the DEP advances the concept by embedding Qur’anic values of amanah (trust) and murāqabah (divine vigilance). Using a qualitative–normative approach through textual and comparative analysis of Islamic sources and governance literature, this research explores how divine consciousness enhances institutional accountability and moral integrity. Findings indicate that while the FEP ensures procedural control, the DEP establishes taqwā-based accountability that aligns managerial decisions with maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. By transforming governance into an act of worship (‘ibādah), the DEP encourages sincerity, ethical transparency, and holistic responsibility among decision-makers. This framework contributes to the growing discourse on Islamic Corporate Governance by introducing a spiritually grounded paradigm that connects regulatory compliance with divine accountability. The DEP ultimately aims to cultivate integrity-driven financial institutions where performance is measured not only by efficiency but by adherence to divine trust.

This study aims to analyze and formulate a model for the restructuring of the coastal areas in Sibolga City as a comprehensive strategy to enhance the competitiveness of the tourism sector and drive sustainable local economic growth. Although Sibolga has significant marine tourism potential, inadequate infrastructure, suboptimal spatial planning, and limited tourism product innovation often hinder tourist visits and their economic impact on the community. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach, involving the analysis of secondary data (regional regulations, tourism master plans) and primary data collection through in-depth interviews with stakeholders (local government, business operators, and local communities). The results show that the restructuring of the coastal area requires not only physical improvements (reorganization of facilities, infrastructure, and cleanliness) but also managerial and institutional restructuring. The proposed restructuring model includes three main pillars: 1) Improving the quality and quantity of infrastructure that meets national standards and is environmentally friendly; 2) Developing thematic tourism products integrated with local culture and maritime potential; and 3) Strengthening institutional capacity and community participation in the management and tourism value chain. The implementation of this restructuring is expected to increase tourist visits, extend the length of stay, create new business opportunities, and directly improve the income and economic well-being of the Sibolga community, making it a leading tourist destination on the western coast of North Sumatra.

This study explores the strategic role of the Medan City Government in addressing and controlling the chronic issue of flooding, which has widespread social, economic, and political impacts. Flooding in Medan disrupts education, increases health risks, causes economic losses for SMEs, and reduces public trust in the government. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study gathers data through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and policy document analysis. The study applies Riant Nugroho’s public policy theory and Miftah Thoha’s role theory to assess the effectiveness of flood management policies, identifying obstacles such as budget constraints, poor inter-agency coordination, and low community participation. The findings aim to provide strategic recommendations to enhance government capacity, improve coordination, and increase public involvement in flood mitigation, contributing to the development of a sustainable flood management policy model for urban areas.
