Abstract

Academic supervision is a fundamental component of educational management that aims to improve the quality of teaching and learning processes in schools. This study aims to analyze the implementation of academic supervision management based on KOMPAK (Collaborative Active Learning Community) in improving the quality of learning at SD Negeri 1 Wonosobo. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach to explore how academic supervision is planned, implemented, and evaluated within a collaborative learning framework involving teachers and school leadership. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that KOMPAK-based academic supervision is implemented through collaborative activities such as joint lesson planning, peer observation, reflective discussions, and continuous feedback sessions. This model shifts the supervision approach from a traditional evaluative system to a more developmental and participatory process that encourages teacher engagement and professional growth. The results also indicate that the implementation of KOMPAK contributes significantly to improving teacher performance, instructional innovation, and student learning outcomes by fostering a culture of collaboration and reflection within the school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of candidate ghosting in Generation Z through a conceptual literature review approach by integrating the perspectives of candidate experience, employer ghosting, digital social proof, and Social Exchange Theory. The research uses the conceptual literature review method by examining various relevant scientific literature regarding recruitment behavior, candidate experience, Generation Z characteristics, recruitment communication, and social relations in organizations. Analysis is carried out through the process of identification, classification, synthesis, and interpretation of various research findings to build a more comprehensive conceptual understanding. The results of the synthesis show that candidate ghosting cannot be understood solely as a form of candidate unprofessionalism, but rather as a phenomenon influenced by the communication experience received during the recruitment process. The practice of employer ghosting, changes in Generation Z's expectations for transparency and speed of communication, and the influence of digital social proof contribute to the formation of candidate perceptions and behaviors in recruitment relationships. This research offers the concept of ghosting reciprocity as a conceptual framework that explains that candidate ghosting can emerge as a form of negative reciprocity that develops from previous communication experiences with the organization. These findings underscore the importance of a more transparent, responsive, and experience-oriented recruitment process to minimize ghosting from both parties.

Abstract

Firm value remains a key concern in corporate finance, particularly as investors increasingly consider sustainability performance alongside traditional financial indicators. This study examines the effects of capital structure and dividend policy on firm value and investigates whether Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance moderates these relationships among firms included in the IDX ESG Leaders Index. Using a quantitative causal approach, the study analyzes panel data from 26 companies over the 2021–2024 period (104 firm-year observations). Data were analyzed using panel regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) and White Cross-Section robust standard errors. The results indicate that capital structure and dividend policy do not significantly affect firm value. ESG performance also does not moderate the relationship between capital structure and firm value. However, ESG significantly moderates the relationship between dividend policy and firm value in a negative direction, suggesting that stronger ESG performance weakens the value relevance of dividend payouts. These findings imply that ESG and dividend policy may act as substitute signals of firm quality, where investor confidence generated through sustainability performance reduces the marginal importance of dividends as a valuation signal. The study highlights the selective role of ESG in influencing firm value within Indonesia’s sustainability-oriented capital market.

Abstract

Mangrove plants play an important role in maintaining the balance of coastal ecosystems and also produce pedada fruit (Sonneratia caseolaris), which has the potential as a functional food ingredient. However, the use of pedada fruit as a healthy beverage product is still relatively limited. This study aims to develop a healthy beverage based on pedada fruit and analyze the chemical characteristics and safety of the product. The innovation process was carried out by making pedada fruit juice with the addition of roselle flowers and beetroot to improve taste and functional value. Parameters analyzed included temperature, pH, formole number, and arsenic (As) contamination content. The results showed that the resulting drink had a temperature of 33.5°C and a pH of 4.1. The addition of roselle flowers and beetroot contributed to a decrease in pH so that it was within the appropriate acidic range for fruit juice drinks, which is below 4.5, which supports the microbiological safety of the product. The formole number analysis showed an average value of 154, well above the minimum SNI standard of 15, indicating adequate free amino acid content and product quality that was maintained during the production and storage process. Testing for arsenic contamination yielded a concentration of 0.018 mg/kg, lower than the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) maximum limit of 0.1 mg/L. Therefore, the developed pedada fruit juice has good chemical quality, adequate nutritional value, and is safe for consumption.

Abstract

The gap between the competencies of vocational education graduates and the needs of the business and industrial worlds demands collaboration that goes beyond social assistance. This article aims to describe the implementation of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, analyze the impact/influence of CSR on the Internal Quality Assurance System (SPMI) of learning, and observe the changes that have occurred at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, documentation, and perception confirmation sheets as supporting data. The findings indicate that CSR is present through assistance with practical facilities, teacher training, guest teachers, internships/Prakerin, curriculum synchronization, certification support, teaching factories, and collaborative evaluations. The impact is seen in strengthening planning, learning implementation, practical facilities, evaluation, control, and quality improvement. However, this impact must be limited to qualitative impacts if the numerical data, UKK recap, portfolio, and evaluation documents are incomplete. This article concludes that CSR can be an instrument for strengthening SPMI if managed in a planned, measurable, documented, and sustainable manner.

Abstract

Fisher community empowerment is a strategic agenda in the development of Indonesia’s marine and fisheries sector. However, its implementation continues to face a gap between policy and practice. This article aims to analyze the challenges of sustainable fisher empowerment by examining the linkage between policies from the national to the village level and the reality of programs in Kuala Patah Parang Village, Indragiri Hilir Regency, Riau Province. This study employs a descriptive-analytical qualitative approach based on policy document analysis, village administrative data, literature, and the implementation of fisher empowerment programs, which are examined through the perspective of empowerment evaluation. The findings indicate that although Law Number 7 of 2016 has positioned fishers as development subjects who must be protected and empowered, regulations at the provincial and regency levels remain largely administrative-fiscal in orientation and have not translated the vision of empowerment substantively. At the village level, the implemented programs remain fragmented, output-oriented, top-down, and characterized by limited post-training assistance; consequently, they have not been able to foster the economic independence of fishers, even though approximately 80 percent of the population depends on the fisheries sector. This article argues that this gap is caused by the lack of integration between conventional administrative evaluation and participatory evaluation that positions fishers as active subjects. Therefore, an integrative evaluation model is needed, one that combines public policy effectiveness with the principles of empowerment evaluation in order to realize sustainable and independent fisher empowerment.

Abstract

The growth of Islamic financial technology (fintech) in Indonesia presents a paradox that requires serious academic attention. On one hand, Indonesia ranks third in the world on the Global Islamic Fintech Ecosystem Index (GIFT Index) according to the Global Islamic Fintech Report 2024/25, with a market value reaching USD 8.5 billion. On the other hand, only 7.2 percent of licensed peer-to-peer (P2P) lending operators in the country run on Sharia principles. This gap between potential and reality is largely rooted in the complexity and fragmentation of the regulatory framework governing the national Islamic fintech industry. This study aims to map and analyze the existing regulatory framework for Islamic fintech in Indonesia, identify gaps and tensions between the Financial Services Authority (OJK)’s technical regulations and the National Sharia Board of the Indonesian Ulema Council (DSN-MUI)’s normative fatwa standards, and formulate adaptive and comprehensive policy recommendations to achieve harmonization between Sharia principles and technological innovation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a normative legal research method, combining literature review, content analysis, and comparative policy analysis. The findings reveal four main conclusions. First, Indonesia’s Islamic fintech regulatory framework is supported by a dual legal system involving OJK through POJK No. 10/2022 and DSN-MUI through Fatwa No. 117/2018, but the two have not been integrated into a coherent legal framework, resulting in significant policy fragmentation and implementation gaps. Second, the position of DSN-MUI fatwa as merely filling legal vacuums—rather than being directly part of the national legal system as in Malaysia—makes Sharia compliance enforcement highly dependent on the goodwill of industry players, rather than on firm legal sanctions. Third, the tension between the relatively stable nature of Sharia principles and the exponential pace of technological innovation creates unresolved legal grey areas, particularly regarding digital contract validity, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and Sharia-based crypto assets. Fourth, the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) as the frontline of Sharia compliance at the entity level faces serious technical capacity limitations in overseeing increasingly complex fintech products.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze public sentiment toward the Burning Sun Scandal involving Seungri by using data from the X social media platform. The dataset consists of 163 tweets collected through a scraping process and processed using text mining techniques, including case folding, cleaning, tokenizing, stopword removal, and stemming. Feature extraction was performed using the TF-IDF method, followed by sentiment classification using the Multinomial Naïve Bayes algorithm with an 80:20 split for training and testing data. The results indicate that public sentiment is predominantly negative. However, the classification model achieved a relatively low performance with an accuracy of 36%. This result is influenced by several factors, such as inconsistent labeling, class imbalance, and the limited size of the dataset. This study demonstrates that the Naïve Bayes method can be applied to sentiment analysis; however, further data processing optimization is required to improve model performance.
