Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of Emotional Gratification on Internet Gaming Disorder (IGD) among adolescent Roblox users in Malang City. A quantitative predictive research design was employed. The sample consisted of 96 adolescents aged 11–18 years who actively used Roblox and were selected through snowball sampling. Data were collected using the Emotional Gratification Scale, which measures enjoyment, escapism, social interaction, and achievement, and the Internet Gaming Disorder Scale based on DSM-5 criteria. The data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicated that the data were normally distributed and that the relationship between variables was linear. Regression analysis revealed that Emotional Gratification had a positive and significant effect on Internet Gaming Disorder (β = 0.547; t = 7.10; p < .001). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.349) indicated that Emotional Gratification accounted for 34.9% of the variance in Internet Gaming Disorder. These findings suggest that higher emotional gratification obtained through Roblox is associated with a greater tendency toward Internet Gaming Disorder among adolescents.

Abstract

The increasing development of industry, especially in the manufacturing sector, has a direct impact on the environment from its operational activities. One effort that companies can make to reduce these negative impacts is by implementing environmental accounting. This study aims to determine: (1) The application of environmental accounting in improving financial performance at PDP Kahyangan Gunung Pasang; (2) What factors support and hinder the implementation of environmental accounting at PDP Kahyangan Gunung Pasang; (3) The impact of the implementation of environmental accounting on the company. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that PDP Kahyangan Kebun Gunung Pasang has implemented environmental accounting practices through waste management and environmental cost expenditures, but has not been recorded specifically in the financial statements because it is still combined with the company's operational costs. Supporting factors for the implementation of environmental accounting are the company's awareness of the importance of environmental sustainability and compliance with regulations, while inhibiting factors are limited human resources and the absence of a structured environmental cost reporting system. The implementation of environmental accounting has a positive impact on cost efficiency, environmental risk control, and increased stakeholder trust, thereby supporting improved company financial performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the significant effect of work supervision and work experience, both partially and simultaneously, on employee productivity at the Toti Mori Donggo Bolo gas station, Bima Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design to examine the influence of work supervision and work experience on employee productivity at the Toti Mori Donggo Bolo gas station, Bima Regency. Data were collected from 31 employees through questionnaires, observations, and literature studies, and were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software. The analysis included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, correlation analysis, coefficient of determination, as well as t-tests and F-tests to determine the partial and simultaneous effects of work supervision and work experience on employee productivity. This study shows that work supervision has a positive and significant effect on employee work productivity at the Toti Mori Donggo Bolo gas station, Bima Regency, while work experience has no significant effect partially on work productivity. The results of simultaneous testing prove that work supervision and work experience together have a significant effect on employee work productivity. The coefficient of determination value of 47.1% shows that work productivity can be explained by these two variables, while the other 52.9% is influenced by other factors outside the research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and determine the influence of competence and motivation, both partially and simultaneously, on employee job satisfaction at the UPT DP3AP2KB, Donggo District. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis to test the influence of competence and motivation on employee job satisfaction at the UPT DP3AP2KB and the Family Planning Extension Center, Donggo District, with all research instruments proven valid and reliable and fulfilling the classical assumption test. The results of the study indicate that competence and motivation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, both partially and simultaneously, with motivation having a more dominant influence than competence. In addition, the coefficient of determination value of 93.2% indicates that variations in employee job satisfaction can be largely explained by competence and motivation, while the rest is influenced by other factors outside the study. The results of the study indicate that competence has a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction at the UPT DP3AP2KB, Donggo District, which means that the better the employee's abilities, knowledge, and skills, the higher the level of job satisfaction they feel. In addition, motivation is also proven to have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, so that employees who have high motivation tend to be more enthusiastic and feel more satisfied in carrying out their work. Thus, increasing competence and motivation becomes an important factor in efforts to increase employee job satisfaction.

Abstract

The primary objective of every company is to maximize firm value because higher firm value reflects better company performance and increases shareholder wealth. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of capital structure and dividend policy on firm value, as well as the role of family ownership in moderating these two relationships in Salim Group companies for the 2019–2023 period. The research method used was a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis techniques and SPSS version 25 statistical analysis tools to determine the influence and relationship of each variable. The analysis revealed that capital structure had no significant effect on firm value (p-value 0.196 > 0.05), while dividend policy had a significant positive effect on firm value (p-value 0.005 < 0.05). Furthermore, family ownership did not moderate the effect of capital structure on firm value (p-value 0.409 > 0.05) or the effect of dividend policy on firm value (p-value 0.466 > 0.05).

Abstract

Village planning efforts in the context of green property development on the banks of the Code River in Yogyakarta have been ongoing for decades and continue to this day. This village planning is crucial for reducing disaster risks and improving the community's quality of life. The purpose of this study was to identify the level of community participation in green property development along the banks of the Code River in Yogyakarta and to examine the factors influencing their participation. This research was quantitative. Primary data were collected from a questionnaire regarding the level of community participation in green property development using Likert scale analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. Sampling was conducted using random sampling of 100 respondents. The results showed that although most people are aware of green property, their level of understanding is still relatively low. Cost and lack of information are the main obstacles to increasing community participation. Environmental benefits are the most motivating factor for community involvement in this development. Although the green property concept has been implemented, its adoption rate is still relatively low and tends to be limited to features that are easier to implement. Further encouragement is needed to encourage more homes to implement the principles of sustainability and resource efficiency in their construction. To increase the adoption of green property on the banks of the Code River, a combination of education, economic incentives, supportive regulations, and active community involvement is needed.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and communication technology has significantly transformed educational practices worldwide. This study aims to analyze the principal’s strategy in encouraging the use of Educational Game-Based Learning (EGBL) media at SD Negeri 2 Purwojiwo. The research employed a qualitative case study approach involving the principal and teachers as participants. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings reveal that the principal implements several strategies, including instructional leadership, teacher professional development, motivational support, collaborative learning culture, and provision of learning facilities to promote the integration of EGBL in classroom instruction. These strategies help teachers gradually adopt and apply educational game-based learning to create more engaging and student-centered learning environments. However, the implementation also faces several challenges, such as varying levels of teacher digital competence, resistance to change, limited time, and insufficient technological infrastructure. Despite these obstacles, strong leadership and teacher collaboration serve as key supporting factors in the successful integration of EGBL. The study concludes that the principal’s leadership plays a crucial role in fostering innovation in teaching practices and enhancing the quality of learning through educational game-based learning media at the elementary school level.
