Abstract

This research aims to explore the benefits and barriers in the implementation of digital technology in education. In the growing digital era, technology plays an important role in the teaching and learning process. This research uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data was collected from academic databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus, and JSTOR to search for relevant articles, books, and other scholarly sources. The results show that the implementation of digital technology brings various benefits, including increased access to information, mor e interactive learning, as well as the development of digital skills in students. Teachers reported that technology helps in presenting materials in a more engaging manner and facilitates collaborative learning. Students feel more motivated and engaged in the learning process with the use of digital devices and online learning platforms. However, the study also identified a number of barriers to the implementation of digital technology. These include limited technological infrastructure, lack of training and technical support for teachers, and disparities in access to technology between students from different economic backgrounds. In addition, some teachers expressed concerns regarding the disruption caused by the use of technology in the classroom and challenges in integrating technology with the existing curriculum. The study concludes that while digital technology has great potential to improve the quality of education, its successful implementation is highly dependent on infrastructure readiness, training for educators and appropriate strategies to address access gaps. Recommendations are provided for policy makers and education practitioners to optimize the use of digital technology to achieve better educational outcomes.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan aplikasi Canva dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik atau model Miles dan Hurbermen yang terdiri dari reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aplikasi Canva dapat membantu guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran. Aplikasi Canva menyediakan berbagai fitur menarik yang dapat memudahkan dan mendukung guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu penggunaan Canva dalam proses pembelajaran adalah guru dapat membuat media pembelajaran yang beragam. Guru dapat menyajikan materi pembelajaran yang unik dan kreatif menggunakan aplikasiĀ Canva. Media pembelajaran yang unik dapat menarik perhatian peserta didik dan meningkatkan motivasi peserta didik dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to explore teachers' perceptions towards technology integration in learning at junior high school (SMP). Technology integration in education is expected to improve the quality of learning, but its success is highly dependent on the acceptance and readiness of teachers. teachers' readiness. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through interviews and questionnaires from 20 teachers in junior high schools. The results showed that most teachers have a positive perception of the use of technology in learning. The benefits identified include increased student motivation and participation, accessibility and flexibility of learning, and personalization of learning. However, the main challenges faced by teachers include limited infrastructure, lack of training and technical support, and resistance to change. Factors influencing technology integration include support from school management support, resource availability, and teachers' technology attitudes and competencies. technology attitudes and competencies of teachers. Abstract

Penggunaan teknologi Virtual Reality (VR) dalam konteks perguruan tinggi, khususnya dalam pembelajaran praktikum laboratorium, telah menjadi perhatian utama dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Artikel ini menggali persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan VR dalam pembelajaran praktikum laboratorium. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dan wawancara mendalam dengan 50 mahasiswa dari berbagai jurusan sains dan teknologi di universitas. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas mahasiswa memiliki persepsi positif terhadap penggunaan VR dalam pembelajaran praktikum laboratorium, menganggapnya lebih menarik, efektif, dan memikat dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Meskipun demikian, tantangan teknis dan kenyamanan masih menjadi perhatian utama. Artikel ini memberikan wawasan yang komprehensif tentang manfaat, tantangan, dan harapan mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan VR dalam pembelajaran praktikum laboratorium, serta menyoroti implikasi pentingnya untuk pengembangan pendidikan di masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas penggunaan media sosial dalam proses pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing. Dengan memanfaatkan platform seperti Facebook, Twitter, dan YouTube, media sosial menawarkan peluang untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan keterlibatan siswa melalui konten yang interaktif dan menarik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi kelas, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa, serta analisis konten dari platform media sosial yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media sosial memiliki sejumlah keuntungan, termasuk peningkatan motivasi belajar, keterlibatan siswa, dan akses terhadap materi otentik dalam bahasa Inggris. Namun, terdapat juga beberapa tantangan, seperti gangguan dan distraksi dari konten non-pembelajaran. Kesimpulannya, meskipun media sosial memiliki potensi besar dalam mendukung pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, diperlukan pengelolaan yang tepat dan dukungan teknis untuk memaksimalkan efektivitasnya. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang inovatif dan efektif di era digital.
