Abstract

This article is meant to be a critical reflection on the ideal responsibility of educational institutions and the role of the teachers in today’s world of education. The article focuses on the problem of the declining morality of the education as a result of the hegemony of global capitalism. This becomes apparent in the spreading of the culture of industrialisation and commercialisation of education. The moment has come to reflect seriously on the genuine culture, so as to build a new paradigma in matters of education, especially by reconstructing the ideal role and responsibility and the reposition of the role of the teachers, specifically the catholic teachers of religion in the world of education. To this end, as a base of analysis on the above mentioned matters, in this article some critical thoughts in matters of culture will be the base of analysis.

Abstract

The professional catholic teacher of Religion is most significant for the faithful and the local community. The central theme of this article is, that a catholic teacher of Religion does not just function (1) as a professional instructor of the subject of Religion, but (2) most of all as a professional catechist who proclaims the Gospel and the doctrine of the Church and teaches the faithful and the local community by means of providing excellent thoughts, word and moral deeds. Thus, to become a catholic teacher of Religion is a vocation which comes from God himself. This vocation has to be accompanied by professional competence: spiritual, moral, social, individuality and intellectual.

Abstract

In this article concrete answers are provided to attain a genuine estimation. The article is focused on this question: “What is a genuine estimation?” Teachers will be able to carry out a genuine estimation when they thoroughly understand what is meant by genuine estimation. Genuine estimation stresses the estimation of the process. Thus the genuine estimation becomes the complete focus in matters of formal education.

Abstract

This article is meant to be a critical reflection on the pastoral care of Mgr. A.P.C. Sol MSC as the Bishop of the Diocese of Amboina. This is done as an endeavour to try and deepen Msgr. Sol’s missionary spirituality in his pastoral care, as is being formulated in the document Ad Gentes. Various ways of pastoral service as a missionary have become manifest in a number of concrete measures, among others in the fields of spreading the faith (baptism), religious education, formation of activists (aspirant priests/catechists) and caring for and accompanying several religious congregations in the Moluccas. The moment has come that we underline Msgr. Sol’s testimony of religious life and various fields of pastoral care. This cannot be separated from the genuine missionary work i.e. proclaiming the Gospel to all nations.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, kita menjumpai kenyataan bahwa banyak keluarga mengalami kegagalan dalam membina kehidupan rumah tangga mereka. Banyak bermunculan permasalahan-permasalahan keluarga mengenai disorganisasi keluarga. Dan salah satunya adalah kasus keluarga broken home yang memperlihatkan suatu realitas dimana struktur keluarga sudah tidak lengkap lagi Karena itu, melalui Skripsi ini, penulis berupaya mempelajari kasus keluarga broken home tersebut dan kemudian berusaha menawarkan/ menunjukkan sebuah pendampingan pastoral yang efektif dan mencerahkan bagi keluarga-keluarga yang dilanda kasus broken home.
