Abstract

Communication competence in Church ministry is essential for priests and ministers. The overarching argument is that, as a leader and public figures, priests and ministers should be communicative persons in dealing with people around them in different situation. Communication competence is based on the ability to perform an act of communication. It is also people’s ability to appropriately and effectively use communication to obtain a desired outcome or goal. Communication competence is needed also by priest and ministers to be able to recognize the given situation and how to respond it appropriately. However they live in the midst of people society with different cultures, languages, norms, rules. Therefore they are demanded to know more how to communicate and adjust themselves with such situations, and be able to find in them the life meaning. Such ability will help them to increase the quality of encounter or relationship which is applied by the way they speak and deal with others. Abstract

This study aims to examine the pedagogical relationship of parents and children in developing multiple intelligences in early childhood. This research is very relevant to the efforts of parents in educating their children. The focus of this literature research is to find out how the relationship between parents and children is in an effort to develop multiple intelligences in early childhood. The data collection technique used in this research is by using a literature review which is then analyzed from the perspective of the object of study. Abstract

This paper aims to explore Luce Irigaray's thoughts regarding the problem of masculine domination. In the process of studying the thought of Irigaray, the method used is the method of literature(LibraryResearch), which is a series of activities that are pleasing to the method of data collection library, read, record and process the research data. With this method, it will be shown how Iragaray's criticism is aimed at destroying the hegemony of the tradition of patriarchal thought. For Irigray, patriarchal discourse has constructed women as inferior, lower under the superiority of men. Therefore, by emphasizing the subjectivity of women, the logic of masculine domination can be understood, especially when placed in a mimetic way of thinking. Mimeticism is used by Irigaray to distinguish the thought traditions of women and men in constructing knowledge, even language is influenced by patriarchal discourse. Abstract

Nowadays environmental crises are happening everywhere caused by humans who tend to try to control and exploit the environment around them. Humans regard the environment that surrounds them only as an object of need, without considering the sustainability and appreciation of the greatness of God's creation value contained in it. This kind of reality encourages people to renew their views, attitudes and behavior towards the environment. In order to renew the views, attitudes and behavior of humans, the author invites people to be friendly and love the environment through personality formation based on the cosmic spirituality of St. Francis of Assisi. In everyday life, St. Francis of Assisi was truly friendly with all of creation around him. He loves and appreciates the majesty of God which is contained in each of His creations. In the end, this friendship with creation can lead him to a harmonious relationship with God the creator. Therefore, the personality of St. Francis of Assisi needs to be imitated by humans today in order to realize the integrity of creation. Keywords: Cosmic Spirituality

Abstract

Unity is rightfully regarded as something that is important and essential in man’s life. In Christian life, in the context of God’s work of salvation, unity with Christ is of paramount importance. Unity with Christ constitutes the identity of those who have received the Sacrament of Baptism. That is why time and again the unity with Christ is being celebrated in the Eucharist by those who have been baptized. As the Sacrament of unity, the Eucharist unites us with Christ and with our neighbour. Bread and wine, which are offered during the Eucharist, are a sacrifice by the power of the Holy Spirit in order to create the One Church in Christ and in his Paschal Mystery. Seeing how important the celebration of the Eucharist is as a source of inspiration for the communion of life of the faithful, so this paper aims to describe how communion is celebrated in the celebration of the Eucharist together with proposed pastoral steps in the context of following up the fellowship in daily life. This paper uses a literature review with a descriptive-pastoral analysis method. Thrugh this way, the study is presented descriptively, accompanied by proposals for unity models as an aid for efforts to implement communio in daily life. Abstract

Komunikasi telah menjadi Aeropagus modern yang mempersatukan umat manusia. Gereja melalui instrusksi pastoral Aetatis Novae menunjukkan kepedulian Gereja yang besar terhadap dunia komunikasi. Kepedulian Gereja ini menunjukkan bahwa Gereja sungguh mengambil bagian dalam sejarah hidup manusia. Apa yang menjadi kegembiraan dan harapan, duka dan kecemasan orang-orang zaman sekarang khususnya tentang komunikasi dan media juga menjadi pergumulan Gereja. Melalui instruksi pastoral ini, Gereja menunjukkan bahwa media masa merupakan sarana komunikasi yang penting untuk menjunjung tinggi harkat dan martabat manusia, dan secara internal untuk kepentingan pewartaan Kerajaan Allah. Abstract

Reformasi politik di Indonesia terjadi karena perubahan sistem politik yang dibangun oleh pemerintahan Orde Baru. Situasi ini menyebabkan munculnya berbagai problem yang muncul selama masa Orde Baru berlangsung. Diantaranya, pelanggaran-pelanggaran terhadap hak asasi manusia, praktek KKN yang merajalela, serta kewenangan pemerintah dalam mengambil kekuasaan. Gereja Katolik di Indonesia juga turut merasakan kondisi sosial politik yang terjadi. Perhatian Gereja terhadap kondisi sosial Indonesia diserukan lewat sidang-sidang agung KWI atau juga melalui surat gembala para Uskup. Hal tersebut merupakan bentuk partisipasi Gereja untuk membangun tata dunia baru dalam konteks kondisi sosial di Indonesia. Financial literacy is one of the focus point in this research. This because the knowledge of financial literacy of Indonesian people is poor. Financial literacy create prosperity for the people in the catholic church in this case. The church should be involved at the social and economic problems of these people. Abstract

This research is a library research that aims to analyze the implications of active learning principles forteachers and students in learning Catholic Religious Education. The research method used is descriptive research with library research studies (library research). In this study, the author usesdescriptive research with more emphasis on the strength of the analysis of available sources and data by relying on theories and concepts to be interpreted and described which leads to the focus of thediscussion. The results of the study found that the implications of the principle of active learning in PAK learning require teachers to design learning that activates students, frees students from excessive dependence on teachers, and teachers need to assess learning processes and outcomes. Likewise,students are required to actively form knowledge about themselves, the Person of Jesus Christ, theChurch and Society. Students need to actively build their attitudes and skills in implementing their faith knowledge. Abstract

The study of self-actualization and alienation is study of cultural studies. Theconcept of self-actualization and alienation confirms Marx's thinking about the labor theory of value. On the one hand, work is understood as human self- actualization, the fullness of human potential, and as a form of social solidarity. On the other hand, work raises the problem of self-alienation. That is, when people prioritize the value of production without being extracted, humans are alienated from them and from their own work. Humans work solely to maintain their lives and to fulfill their needs. Work is no longer meant to self-actualize, but works solely for the benefit of the capitalists.
