Abstract

By the phrase “post-colonial state” is not sufficently expressed the position of those former colonial-governed states. Neither is the rather “chronical” prefix “pasca” (former) in the phrase “pasca-colonialism” enough to express their situation as “after colonialism”. The phrase “pasca-kolonialism” idicates a critical interpretation of the whole cultural product which has been influenced by colonial goverment ip to now. In this context we deem it worthwile in this article to reflect on evangelization and colonialism. We do not intend to romanticize the history of colonisation, but reconstruct history in order to expose what is said about the power of simbolics and the contruction of the identity of the colonial subject that is yielded in factual discourse. Thus in fact this article is meant to be a critical reflection on any discourse on evangelization and colonialism in the Moluccas.

Abstract

The growth and development of children occurs within a family. The quality of children's personality development and faith is highly dependent on the quality of their parents and children relationships in a family. Relationship between parents and children is also determined by the quality of the relationship of husband and wife. Thus, the quality of husband and wife relationship and parenting style influence the developmental maturity of the personality and the faith of their children. The purpose of this paper is to explain the quality of husband and wife relationships and parenting style in a nuclear family and its impact on the process of personality formation and faith of the children from the perspective of psychology.

Abstract

In this article we want to reflect on the ritual or procedure which is practised by any cultural entity or religious assembly towards those who want to join this respective cultural group or religious denomination. This so-called “initiation” follows a certein procedure or ritual by which the candidate receives a new status. In order to become a member of the Roman Catholic Church, the candidate must submit himself to a process of initiation, which is meant to be a period of introduction and investigation on whether the candidate fulfills certein conditions. This initiation is aimed to provide to the aspirant full membership of the Church as a community of faithful. By means of this christian initiation the candidate is received as some one who believes in Christ. Faith is to be the orientasion and target in the process of christian initiation.

Abstract

This article intends to provide some important features in relation to training and development as the operational manageral function of sources (MSDM) at any foundation or organisation. The central question which we endeavour to answer in this piece of writing is “What could be a strategic solution in relation to the enhancement of quality of human sources at a foundation or organisation?” Training and development of human sources should be acknowledged as a strategic and urgent solution, when the foundation or organisation is oriented on worthwile an qualifeid service.

Abstract

Sejak dalam kandungan manusia memiliki martabat yang sama seperti manusia yang sudah lahir. Sebelum manusia lahir, ia adalah individu unik yang mewakili seluruh “kemanusiaan” dan, karena itu, patut dihargai martabatnya. Tulisan ini menguraikan pandangan Paus Yohanes Paulus II tentang memelihara kehidupan, sebagaimana dinyatakannya dalam  Ensilik Evangelium Vitae. Dalam ensiklik ini Sri Paus mengajak semua orang untuk menghormati, melindungi, mencintai dan melayani kehidupan.
