Abstract

Teacher performance evaluation is a crucial aspect of improving the quality of education in schools. However, manual assessment processes often face challenges such as subjectivity, inconsistency, and lack of transparency in decision-making. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method to assist the school in evaluating teacher performance in an objective and structured manner. The TOPSIS method is chosen for its ability to rank alternatives based on their closeness to the ideal positive and negative solutions, thus supporting more rational decision-making. The evaluation criteria include discipline, pedagogical competence, responsibility, teamwork, and innovation in teaching. The system is implemented as a web-based application accessible to school management. Testing results show that the system can provide accurate, consistent, and data-driven performance evaluations. Abstract

This study introduces an innovative Android-based tryout and online examination application specifically designed for elementary schools, with a case study at SDN 2 Wates Timur. Traditional learning and evaluation methods in schools still heavily rely on face-to-face interactions, often lacking the efficiency offered by digital solutions. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of mobile technology tailored to the needs of young learners, enabling digital access to assessments and enhancing the overall learning experience. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and literature studies, while the application was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach. Testing utilized black box methods on various Android devices to ensure compatibility. The results demonstrate improved efficiency in exam administration, simplified score recording for teachers, and reduced cheating among students. This application not only supports digital transformation in elementary education but also offers a replicable model for other schools seeking to integrate technology into their evaluation processes.

Abstract

The management of infrastructure and facility inventories is a crucial aspect in supporting the educational process in schools. At SMK N 1 Gadingrejo, inventory data collection and asset monitoring are still conducted manually, which poses risks such as data loss, inefficient management, and difficulties in tracking asset conditions and usage. To address these issues, this study aims to design a technology-based information system that facilitates integrated inventory monitoring and management. A structured modeling approach is applied in the system design, including Context Diagrams, DFD Level 0 and Level 1, and ER-Diagrams to represent data flow and relationships between entities. The result of this research is a web-based system that enables school staff, such as administrators and administrative personnel, to record inventory items, monitor asset conditions, and generate reports automatically. The implementation of this system is expected to improve efficiency, reduce manual errors, and streamline asset management processes. Furthermore, the system can be developed with additional features such as RFID or QR code-based asset tracking, mobile application integration, and automatic maintenance notifications. With further development, this system has the potential to provide a more comprehensive solution and support real-time facility and infrastructure management.

Abstract

Agung is still carried out manually, which often leads to issues such as delays in data processing, data duplication, and difficulty in retrieving information. This research aims to design and develop an information system for managing new student data to improve the efficiency and accuracy of data processing. The system is developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology with the waterfall model, consisting of planning, analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance phases. The result of this research is a web-based information system that enables the admissions committee to manage prospective student data in a structured and systematic manner. The system enhances data input speed, minimizes errors, and provides real-time information. Abstract

The rapid development of information technology encourages educational institutions to adopt digital systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of data management and information services. This research aims to design and develop a mobile web-based information system for SMPN 24 Pesawaran as a solution to the limitations of the previously manual system. The system includes features for managing student and teacher data, class schedules, and academic information, all accessible in real-time via mobile devices. The development method used is the Waterfall model, consisting of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The test results show that the system provides ease in data management and information delivery for all stakeholders, including teachers, students, and parents. With this mobile web-based information system, it is expected that administrative processes and communication within the school environment will become more effective and efficient.
