Abstract

The objective of the research was to find out whether or not there was a significant different between students who were taught by using structured questions in teaching writing descriptive paragraph and those who were not taught at the eighth grade students of MTs Al Huda Karang Melati. In this research the writer used experimental method, quasy experimental design. The population of this research were 84 students and sample were 60 students by using purposive sampling. The finding of this research, the result of the post test score of control and experimental class used independent t-test. And the result of the calculation showed that t-obtained was higher than t-table (6.52 > 2,021). It means that there was any significant difference between experimental and control class. So, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. As a conclusion, there was a significant different between students who were taught by using structured questions in teaching writing descriptive paragraph and who were not taught (conventional strategy).

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of PT. BPRS Al-Washliyah Medan in Raising Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through sharia financing programs, to find out the number of customers receiving MSME financing nationally and to find out the level of distribution of mudharabah financing from 2016 to 2020. This research is qualitative research. The analytical approach is qualitative descriptive analysis. The data collection techniques used were documentation and interview techniques. The conclusion of this research is that the role of BPRS Al-Washliyah in raising MSMEs can be seen from three things, namely the role of Islamic banks in developing MSMEs which can be seen from the availability of MSMEs  financing products, monitoring financing and business development, and the capital building for MSMEs that will be provided. the bank, namely in the form of management assistance and business supervision for customers. The obstacles to BPRS Al-Washliyah in increasing its role in the MSMEs  sector in Medan are capital that does not yet meet all business capital needs, collateral as a condition for obtaining financing that is too large, making it difficult for customers to borrow money at the bank, as well as the existence of other sharia banks that offer similar products and Conventional banks offer the same products with low interest which causes competition among these banks. The solution provided is that Indonesian Sharia Banking has a significant role in the national economic system by providing financing to MSMEs entrepreneurs so that they continue to operate and are able to improve people's welfare. Another solution to the problems that arise is to reduce the value of the collateral.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' creative thinking skills in science subjects with material motion of objects through animated video media. The research method used is the R&D (Research and Development) approach. In this study, data collection techniques were used in the form of media and material expert validation as well as pretest and posttest. The results showed that there was a significant increase in student responses from the results of the pretest and posttest. The average value of the pretest is 60% and the average value of the post test is 81.53%. So it was concluded that the development of animated video media can improve students' creative thinking skills. Keyword: Animation Video Development, Creative Thingking Ability

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning video in the form of animated dubbing videos and to determine the validity and feasibility of learning videos in building English-speaking skills in class X students at SMA Pangudi Luhur. The development method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and evaluation). After the animated video dubbing was developed, a validity test was carried out by 1 media expert and 1 material expert, and a practicality test was carried out by 1 educator to test the feasibility of using animated video dubbing. The results showed that animated video dubbing was valid and appropriate for use in learning, with the validity percentage of media experts at 88.25% (very valid) and material experts at 96.50% (very valid). The results of the data analysis using SPSS indicate that animated dubbed videos are effective in improving students' speaking abilities. This is demonstrated by a significant improvement between students' pre-test and post-test scores. Animated video dubbing can improve students' English-speaking skills. Students show interest and active participation in the use of animated video dubbing, as measured by student response questionnaires. The results of the student response questionnaire obtained a score of 65.80%, which showed students were interested and enthusiastic about the animated video dubbing used. Positive student responses to animated video dubbing indicate that this learning media can be an effective tool for enhancing narrative text learning in the classroom. Abstract

Abstract

The liver is the largest organ in the body, composed of both parenchymal and non-parenchymal cells. Chemical substances and various drugs can induce liver injury and involve Kupffer cells which are non-parenchymal cells that release biologically active substances, promoting pathological processes. This study aimed to evaluate the correlation between the number of Kupffer cells and liver parenchymal cell damages in immunosuppressed, drug-induced rats. The study was conducted from July to December 2019 at the Oral Biology Laboratory of the Faculty of Dentistry and the Biochemical Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Hang Tuah Surabaya. Twelve healthy male Wistar rats were divided into two groups: Healthy (H) and Immunosuppressed Drug-Induced (ID) groups. Immunosuppression was induced using dexamethasone (0.5 mg/day/rat), administered orally for 14 days, combined with tetracycline (1%/day/rat). Liver samples from all rats were examined for Kupffer cell count and parenchymal cell damages were assessed using a light microscope with 400x magnification. Results revealed a significant difference in the number of Kupffer cells and liver parenchymal cell damages between the H and ID groups (p<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis indicated a significant correlation between Kupffer cell number and parenchymal cell damages (p=0.000). Continuous administration of immunosuppressive drugs may activate Kupffer cells, leading to damage of liver parenchymal cells. In conclusion, the infiltration of Kupffer cells is associated with liver parenchymal cell damages, mediated by various factors in the immunosuppressed drug-induced rat model.
