Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze students' mathematical reasoning abilities through integer problems. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study approach. Data collection technique using purposive sampling. Out of 20 students in grade IV SD Pasucen 02, only 3 students were used as informants, selected based on criteria of high, medium and low ability. The research provided mathematical reasoning questions which were analyzed based on the results and student answers. The results showed that 1 student met the high ability criteria, 1 student met the medium ability criteria, 1 student met the low ability criteria.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the math problem solving skills of fourth grade students at SDN 1 Gunung Panti. The method used is Descriptive Qualitative which aims to describe the math problem solving skills of fourth grade elementary school students related to word problems about the area and circumference of flat shapes. The population of this study consisted of 15 fourth grade students at SDN 1 Gunung Panti. The research subjects consisted of 3 students who were selected purposively from the population. Research data was collected through documentation in the form of student answers. The results of the analysis show that there are differences in mathematical abilities between these students. Outstanding students were able to solve all the questions well. Students with moderate achievement show sufficient ability, although there are some errors. Low achieving students still have difficulty in solving word problems about the perimeter and area of ​​flat shapes. Therefore, some students still need guidance from researchers in solving math problems related to the circumference and area of ​​flat shapes.

Abstract

This article analyzes problem-based mathematical reasoning abilities in third grade elementary school students with fraction material at Pati Kidul 01 Elementary School. This study aims to understand the level of students' mathematical reasoning problem ability in learning mathematics. The research method used was qualitative involving third grade elementary school students at Pati Kidul 01 Elementary School. The data was collected through a mathematical reasoning test and analyzed to interpret the results. The results of the data analysis provide insight into the strengths and weaknesses in understanding the material and the implications for students' learning mathematics. This study also makes comparisons with related studies to gain a more comprehensive understanding. This study provides important information for the development of third grade elementary school students' mathematics learning and provides recommendations to strengthen their mathematical reasoning abilities.

Abstract

The traditional teaching method, which is dominated by lectures and teacher explanations, often fails to generate students' interest and motivation. Additionally, students are less involved in experimental activities, and the learning process is not connected to real-life phenomena, resulting in suboptimal learning outcomes. This research aims to investigate the use of the problem-based learning (PBL) approach to enhance students' scientific knowledge, specifically focusing on the water cycle topic in fifth-grade classrooms. By implementing the problem-based learning approach, it is expected that students will become more active and engaged in the learning process and develop a better understanding of the water cycle. The research will be conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Quantitative data analysis will be used to analyze the data based on students' learning outcomes throughout the learning process. Based on the results of the classroom action research, it was found that implementing the problem-based learning model can improve learning outcomes. The improvement in students' abilities was determined based on the percentage of evaluation scores. In the first cycle, it was observed that the learning outcomes were not achieved, with 16 out of 25 students scoring below 75%, representing 64%. Meanwhile, nine students achieved a score of 75% or above, accounting for 36%. In the second cycle, it was found that all 25 students achieved satisfactory learning outcomes, with a score of 75% or above, representing 100%.Keyword : Learning Model, PBL, Water Cycle.

Abstract

Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk untuk menganalisis serta mengetahui pengaruh antar variabel Keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, supervisi akademik, serta budaya sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain penelitian Ex-Post Facto dengan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini menggunakan guru SD Kecamatan Suradadi Kabupaten Tegal. Sampel yang diambil adalah 60 Guru dengan menggunakan stratified random sampling. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis regresi berganda yang telah dilakukan variabel keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah nilai signifikansi (0,027 < 0,05), variabel supervisi akademik nilai signifikansi (0,034 < 0,05), variabel budaya sekolah nilai signifikansi (0,028 < 0,05). Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara variabel keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, supervisi akademik, budaya sekolah terhadap kinerja guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini saran yang dapat disimpulkan adalah keterampilan manajerial kepala sekolah, supervisi akademik, dan budaya sekolah saling mempengaruhi dan meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dan staf terkait pelaksanaan tugas pokok dan fungsinya.
