Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Distinguish differences of implementation of GI and STAD learning models to ward students critical thinking in learning geography at XI SMA Negeri 3 Sragen in academic year of 2016/2017; (2) Distinguish differences of high and low creativity toward students critical thinking in learning geography at XI SMA Negeri 3 Sragen in academic year of 2016/2017; and (3) Identify interaction of the learning models and students creativity levels toward students critical thinking in learning geography at XI SMA Negeri 3 Sragen in academic year of 2016/2017. The study conducted is a quasi-experimental research with posttest design involving two groups, an experimental group and a controlled group. Population of the study is all students of XI IPS SMA Negeri 3 Sragen 2016/2017 period with sample of the study of an experimental class and a controlled class. Data of the study is collected by using test to measure the critical thinking ability and questionnaire with Likert scale to measure the students learning creativity. Data analysis technique employed is 2 x 2 factorial analysis of variance. Results of the study conclude that: (1) GI learning model has better influence rather than STAD learning model toward the students critical thinking ability in learning geography at SMA Negeri 3 Sragen; (2) The high learning creativity students have better critical thinking ability rather than the low learning creativity students at SMA Negeri 3 Sragen;and (3) There are interaction of the learning models and students learning creativity toward the students critical thinking ability in learning geography at XI SMA Negeri 3 Sragen. The differences of critical thinking ability in learning geography are as follows: GI learning model with high creativity level has the best critical thinking ability, followed by GI learning model with low creativity level, STAD learning model with high creativity level, and the lowest is STAD learning model with low creativity level. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know: (1) the level of the flood vulnerability in Puring Subdistrict of Kebumen Regency. (2) Referral flood disaster mitigation in Puring Subdistrict of Kebumen Regency. The method that used on this research is a descriptive survey method with spatial approach. The population are the entire land units and individuals on the Puring subdistrict, as well as the Government. Samples of the research are the unit of land, individuals who were affected by flood at 12 northern parts of the village in Puring Subdistrict, and Disaster Relief Agencies of Kebumen Regency. The number of its units is 7. The sampling technique a population, purposive sampling, probability sampling. The data collecting techniques were interviews, observation, and documentation. Triangulation was used for the validity of the data. Used the overlay and skoring parameters of flood vulnerability level, i.e. land form, the slope of the slopes, soils, and land use for the data’s analyzing. Referral flood mitigation is determined based on the level of vulnerability and those type of flood. The results of these research are (1) the level of flood vulnerability in Puring consists of 3 classes, such as: (a) the Very Vulnerable class includes 12 villages in up to of 2,190.98 ha (80,43%) area; (b) Vulnerable Class includes 7 villages that’s covering of 530.67 ha (19,48%) area; (c) Less Vulnerable Class consists of 1 village in 2.57 ha (0.09%) of the area. (2) Referral flood mitigation is divided into 4 types, i.e. Type I for very vulnerable and the flood of submissions, Type II for vulnerable level and type of flood of submissions, Type III for vulnerable level and the type of local flood, Type IV class is for less susceptible level and flood of submissions type. Abstract

The purposes of this research are to know: (1) To determine differences in student learning outcomes in material resources between students and teaching methods for a field trip with students who use the lecture method, (2) To determine the influence of a caring attitude environment students both high and low the learning outcomes in the matter of natural resources, (3) To understand the interaction between the learning method field trip and a caring attitude to the environment students student learning outcomes in natural resource materials. This research used experimental method with 2 x 2 design factor. This research was conducted in August 2016 with student of Junior High School in Siantan as the population. The sampling technique used is Cluster Random Sampling. The sample taken are 68 students consisting of 34 students of class XI IPS 2 as the experiment class and 34 students of class XI IPS 5 as the control class. The data is collected by means of the questionnaires to obtain the students’ attitude data, and class test is used to get the students’ learning outcome. The validity of the instrument is tested by using point validity technique and by using the pearson product moment. Instrument realibility is tested by using Alpha Cronbach. The data analysis technique used is the two-way Variance Analysis with 5% of significance level. The results of this research show that: (1) Method of learning field trip yield the same learning with the learning method lecture in the presentation of material natural resources in class XI IPS SMAN 1 Siantan, (2) attitude is environmentally students on the classification of high using field trip better than the lecture method in influencing student learning outcomes, (3) There is no interaction between the method of field trip and environmentally conscious attitude toward student learning outcomes in natural resource materials on student class XI IPS SMAN 1 Siantan. Abstract

The objectives of this research are to investigate : (1) the effect of between using Jigsaw learning and Problem Based Learning on the analytical skills of students about the earthquake disaster mitigation; (2) the effect of between students who have a high initial capability with lower initial ability on the analytical skills of students about earthquake disaster mitigation; (3) the effect of the interaction between the learning model and the ability of students to the initial situation analysis capabilities of earthquake disaster mitigation in class X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong Sragen 2015/2016. This research used a quasi experimental research method with the factorial design of 2x2. It involved two classes, namely: experimental class and control class. The data of research were collected through test of Earthquake Disaster Mitigation and Ability Questionnaire Initial Earthquake. They were analyzed by using the two way analysis of variance (ANAVA). The results of the research are follows: 1) In the main effects of A (Learning Model), the statistical value of probabillitas (sig.) = 0.000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected. This means that there is a very significant effects between the application of the jigsaw and PBL learning model to the students on the analytical skills of class X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong; 2) On the effect of B (early Capability), the value probabillitas (sig.) = 0.000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected. This means that there is a very significant effects between students with the high early capability and those with the low early capability on the analytical skills of students of class X IPS SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong; 3) In the interaction effect AB (learning model and early abilities of students), probabillitas value (sig.) = 0,032 <0.05 then Ho is rejected. This means that there is a significant interaction between the learning models and the use of prior knowledge of the students analytical skills situation in the IPS class X SMA Negeri 1 Gemolong. Abstract

Temporal Dynamic of Population Pressure on Land in the Upper Jlantah Watreshed (Supplements of Curriculum 2013 in High School Class XI Basic Competence Analyzing Forms of Local Wisdom in Natural Resources Utilization Field Agriculture, Mining, Industry, and Tourism). The goals of this study are to determine: (1) population pressure of land in the Upper Jlantah watershed in 2006, (2) population pressure of land in the Upper Jlantah watershed in 2016, (3) dynamic of temporal change the population pressure of land in the Upper Jlantah watershed during 2006 – 2016, (4) the implementation in Basic Competence Analyzing Forms of Local Wisdom in Utilization of Natural Resources in Agriculture, Mining, Industry and Tourism in class X Social Science Program.This research is a descriptive qualitative research with spatial approach. Technique of data collecting is done by interview, observation, and documentation study. Processing and data analysis using Geographic Information System (GIS). Sampling technique used in this research is population sampling technique and purposive sampling. The population sample aims to obtain data on the area of crop harvest as a basis for determining population pressure on the land in the Upper Jlantah watershed. The result of this research reveals : (1) The high value of population pressure on land in the Upper Jlantah watershed in 2006 was 4.78, and the lowest was 0.60. High population pressure is found in Tawangmangu Village, Kalisoro, Blumbang, Gondosuli and Beruk. Low population pressure is found in the villages of Wonorejo, Tlobo, and Karangsari, (2. The high value of population pressure on land in the Upper Jlantah River in 2016 is the highest at 1.95, and the lowest is 0.31. High population pressure is found in Tawangmangu, Kalisoro, Blumbang, Gondosuli and Beruk. Low population pressure is found in the villages of Wonorejo, Tlobo, and Karangsari, (3). During the period of 2006 - 2016, population pressure on land in upstream Jlantah watershed tended to decrease, but if based on the standard (TP value 1), for Tawangmangu, Kalisoro, Blumbang, Gondosuli and Beruk, Areas belonging to the lower classes are Wonorejo, Tlobo, and Karangsari, (4). As an implementation in the field of education, this research in geography learning can be used as a material for learning geography of SMA XI IPS Semester 1 Curriculum 2013 on basic competence to analyze the forms of local wisdom in the utilization of natural resources in agriculture, mining, industry and tourism.
