Abstract

ABSTRAK: Absensi mahasiswa merupakan aspek penting dalam proses perkuliahan untuk memantau tingkat kehadiran dan keterlibatan mahasiswa. Namun, sistem absensi konvensional yang masih dilakukan secara manual memiliki berbagai kelemahan, seperti tidak efisien, rawan kecurangan titip absen, serta kurang mendukung transformasi digital di lingkungan akademik. Penelitian ini merancang dan membangun sistem absensi cerdas berbasis web dengan mengintegrasikan object detection YOLOv8 dan face recognition ArcFace untuk melakukan pendeteksian serta identifikasi wajah mahasiswa secara otomatis dan real time. Sistem ini juga dilengkapi fitur anti spoofing untuk mencegah penggunaan foto atau gambar statis sebagai manipulasi kehadiran. Metode penelitian meliputi studi literatur, perancangan sistem, implementasi menggunakan framework Flask dan basis data MySQL, serta pengujian menggunakan metode blackbox testing. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mendeteksi dan mengenali wajah mahasiswa dengan cepat dan akurat, menampilkan rekap kehadiran berbasis web, meminimalisir kecurangan, meningkatkan efisiensi proses absensi, serta mendukung digitalisasi administrasi akademik secara berkelanjutan dan dapat diintegrasikan dengan sistem kampus.KATA KUNCIAbsensi Mahasiswa, YOLOv8, ArcFace, Face Recognition ABSTRACT: Student attendance is an important aspect of the learning process to monitor student presence and participation. However, conventional attendance systems that are still carried out manually have several weaknesses, such as inefficiency, vulnerability to fraud through proxy attendance, and limited support for digital transformation in academic environments. This research designs and develops a web-based intelligent attendance system by integrating YOLOv8 for object detection and ArcFace for face recognition to automatically and accurately detect and identify students’ faces in real time. The system is also equipped with an anti-spoofing feature to prevent the use of photos or static images as attendance manipulation. The research methods include literature study, system design, implementation using the Flask framework and MySQL database, and system testing using blackbox testing. The results show that the system can detect and recognize students quickly and accurately, present attendance recaps through a web interface, minimize fraud, improve attendance efficiency, and support sustainable digitalization of academic administration and integrationKeywords:Student Attendance, YOLOv8, ArcFace, Face Recognition

Abstract

ABSTRAKMall Pelayanan Publik (MPP) merupakan inovasi pelayanan terpadu yang bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas layanan pemerintah kepada masyarakat. Namun, banyak fasilitas MPP yang belum sepenuhnya memperhatikan aspek aksesibilitas bagi seluruh kelompok pengguna, khususnya penyandang disabilitas, lansia, ibu hamil, dan kelompok rentan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang Mall Pelayanan Publik di Kabupaten Takalar dengan pendekatan arsitektur inklusif guna mewujudkan fasilitas pelayanan publik yang adil, setara, dan mudah diakses oleh semua kalangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode perancangan arsitektur, melalui studi literatur, observasi tapak, analisis kebutuhan ruang, serta studi banding terhadap proyek sejenis di dalam dan luar negeri. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip universal design mampu meningkatkan kualitas aksesibilitas melalui penyediaan ramp standar, lift, sirkulasi ramah disabilitas, sistem wayfinding berbasis visual dan warna, serta fasilitas pendukung seperti toilet disabilitas, ruang laktasi, dan ruang bermain anak. Selain itu, pemilihan material yang aman dan tidak licin turut meningkatkan kenyamanan dan keselamatan pengguna. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa integrasi prinsip arsitektur inklusif sejak tahap perencanaan sangat penting dalam menciptakan ruang pelayanan publik yang manusiawi, responsif, dan berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci: Arsitektur Inklusif, Pelayanan Publik, Disabilitas, Aksesibilitas, Universal Design.ABSTRACTPublic Service Malls (Mall Pelayanan Publik/MPP) are integrated service facilities aimed at improving the efficiency and quality of public services. However, many existing MPP buildings have not fully considered accessibility for all user groups, particularly people with disabilities, the elderly, pregnant women, and other vulnerable communities. This study aims to design a Public Service Mall in Takalar Regency using an inclusive architectural approach to ensure equal, safe, and convenient access to public services. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive method based on architectural design processes, including literature review, site observation, spatial needs analysis, and comparative studies of similar projects at national and international levels. The design results demonstrate that the application of universal design principles significantly improves accessibility through standard-compliant ramps, elevators, disability-friendly circulation, visual and color-based wayfinding systems, and inclusive supporting facilities such as accessible toilets, lactation rooms, and child-friendly spaces. In addition, the use of safe and non-slip materials enhances user comfort and safety. This study emphasizes that integrating inclusive design principles from the early planning stage is essential for creating public service facilities that are humane, responsive, and sustainable, while also supporting equitable access to government services.Keyworsds: Inclusive Architecture, Publik Service, Disability, Accesibility, Universal Design.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Pulau Gusung merupakan pulau pasir di pesisir Kota Makassar yang dipengaruhi oleh dinamika oseanografi, khususnya pasang surut dan gelombang laut. Interaksi gelombang dengan pulau menyebabkan terjadinya difraksi gelombang yang memengaruhi distribusi energi gelombang dan kondisi perairan di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tipe pasang surut serta pengaruh pasang surut terhadap difraksi gelombang di Pulau Gusung. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan memanfaatkan data sekunder pasang surut, angin, dan gelombang dari BMKG periode 2019–2023. Analisis pasang surut dilakukan menggunakan metode Admiralty untuk menentukan konstanta harmonik dan tipe pasang surut, sedangkan karakteristik gelombang dianalisis melalui peramalan gelombang dan perhitungan koefisien difraksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pulau Gusung memiliki tipe pasang surut campuran condong ke harian tunggal. Perbedaan elevasi muka air laut saat pasang dan surut memengaruhi nilai koefisien difraksi dan tinggi gelombang di belakang pulau. Kesimpulannya, pasang surut berperan signifikan terhadap difraksi gelombang dan berimplikasi penting bagi pengelolaan pulau kecil dan perencanaan wilayah pesisir. KATA KUNCI Pasang Surut, Difraksi Gelombang, Metode Admiralty, Pulau Gusung   ABSTRACT: Gusung Island is a sandy island located in the coastal area of Makassar City and is influenced by oceanographic dynamics, particularly tides and ocean waves. The interaction between waves and the island causes wave diffraction, which affects the distribution of wave energy and the surrounding water conditions. This study aims to analyze the tidal type and the influence of tides on wave diffraction around Gusung Island. A quantitative approach was applied using secondary data on tides, wind, and waves obtained from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) for the period 2019–2023. Tidal analysis was conducted using the Admiralty method to determine harmonic constants and tidal types, while wave characteristics were analyzed through wave forecasting and diffraction coefficient calculations. The results indicate that Gusung Island experiences a mixed tide with a predominance of diurnal characteristics. Variations in sea level elevation during high and low tide conditions affect the diffraction coefficient and wave height behind the island. In conclusion, tides play a significant role in wave diffraction and have important implications for small island management and coastal area planning. Abstract

ABSTRAK: Ketersediaan energi listrik yang stabil dan andal sangat penting untuk mendukung aktivitas akademik di lingkungan perguruan tinggi. Salah satu permasalahan yang sering terjadi pada sistem distribusi listrik adalah ketakseimbangan pembebanan transformator, yang dapat menurunkan efisiensi dan memperpendek umur peralatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai level pembebanan dan tingkat ketakseimbangan pada transformator distribusi Kampus Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui pengukuran arus dan tegangan pada setiap fase serta pemodelan sistem menggunakan perangkat lunak PSCAD untuk memperoleh gambaran kondisi operasional transformator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pembebanan transformator berada pada kisaran 60–80% dari kapasitas nominal, sedangkan nilai ketakseimbangan beban mengalami fluktuasi namun masih berada dalam batas toleransi standar SPLN No. 17 Tahun 2014. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa transformator masih beroperasi dalam kondisi cukup aman. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya pemantauan dan penyeimbangan beban secara berkala guna meningkatkan efisiensi sistem dan keandalan pasokan listrik kampus. KATA KUNCI Transformator distribusi, pembebanan, ketakseimbangan beban, PSCAD.   ABSTRACT: The availability of stable and reliable electrical energy is essential to support academic activities in higher education institutions. One common issue in electrical distribution systems is load imbalance in distribution transformers, which can reduce efficiency and shorten equipment lifespan. This study aims to assess the loading level and load imbalance of a distribution transformer at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar campus. The research method involved direct measurements of current and voltage on each phase, combined with system modeling using PSCAD software to represent the transformer’s operational conditions. The results indicate that the transformer loading level ranges between 60–80% of its nominal capacity, while load imbalance values fluctuate but remain within the allowable limits specified by SPLN No. 17 of 2014. The study concludes that the transformer operates under acceptable conditions. The implication of this research highlights the importance of regular load monitoring and phase load balancing to improve system efficiency, maintain transformer reliability, and ensure continuous electrical supply for campus activities   Keywords: Distribution transformer, loading level, load imbalance, PSCAD.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPemantauan level air pada bendungan memiliki peranan penting dalam menjaga keselamatan dan efisiensi pengelolaan sumber daya air. Namun, sistem pemantauan yang masih dilakukan secara manual berpotensi menimbulkan keterlambatan informasi dan risiko operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem monitoring level air pada Bendungan PT. Tombolo Energy berbasis NodeMCU V3 (ESP8266). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimental dengan tahapan perancangan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak, pengujian, serta evaluasi kinerja sistem. Sistem memanfaatkan sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 untuk mengukur ketinggian air dan mengirimkan data secara real-time melalui jaringan Wi-Fi ke aplikasi Blynk sebagai media pemantauan berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) serta ditampilkan pada LCD. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan sistem mampu memantau level air dengan akurasi tinggi, ditunjukkan oleh nilai rata-rata persentase error sebesar 0,9558% dibandingkan pengukuran manual. Kesimpulannya, sistem yang dirancang bekerja secara andal dan responsif. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah peningkatan keselamatan bendungan, efisiensi pemantauan, serta dukungan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data real-time.Kata Kunci: Monitoring Level Air, Bendungan, NodeMCU ESP8266, Sensor Ultrasonik HC-SR04, Internet of Things (IoT).   ABSTRACTMonitoring water levels in dams plays an important role in maintaining safety and efficiency in water resource management. However, water level monitoring systems that are still performed manually can lead to delays in information delivery and increased operational risks. This study aims to design and develop a water level monitoring system at the PT. Tombolo Energy Dam based on NodeMCU V3 (ESP8266). The research method employed is an experimental method consisting of hardware and software design, testing, and system performance evaluation stages. The system utilizes an HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to measure water levels and transmits data in real time via a Wi-Fi network to the Blynk application as an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring platform, with additional display on an LCD. The test results show that the system is capable of monitoring water levels with high accuracy, as indicated by an average percentage error of 0.9558% compared to manual measurements. In conclusion, the designed system operates reliably and responsively. The implications of this study include improved dam safety, increased monitoring efficiency, and support for real-time data-based decision making.Keywords: Water level monitoring, dam, NodeMCU ESP8266, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor, Internet of Things (IoT).

Abstract

ABSTRAKSistem distribusi tenaga listrik memiliki tingkat kerentanan yang tinggi terhadap gangguan, khususnya gangguan hubung singkat yang dapat menurunkan keandalan penyaluran energi listrik dan memperpanjang waktu pemulihan sistem. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode yang mampu mengidentifikasi lokasi gangguan secara cepat dan akurat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memodelkan dan menganalisis kinerja fault locator  berbasis impedansi pada saluran distribusi Penyulang Rindam menggunakan perangkat lunak PSCAD/EMTDC. Metodologi penelitian meliputi pemodelan sumber Thevenin, transformator, saluran distribusi, serta sistem beban berdasarkan data aktual penyulang. Simulasi gangguan dilakukan pada beberapa titik lokasi, yaitu 25%, 50%, dan 75% dari panjang saluran, dengan variasi resistansi gangguan sebesar 0,001 Ω, 2 Ω, dan 5 Ω. Parameter arus dan tegangan hasil simulasi digunakan untuk menghitung impedansi gangguan dan menentukan estimasi lokasi gangguan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode fault locator  berbasis impedansi memiliki tingkat akurasi yang sangat baik pada gangguan dengan resistansi rendah, di mana persentase error estimasi lokasi berada di bawah 1%.Kata Kunci: Fault locator , Impedansi,PSCAD, Lokasi gangguan, Simulasi ABSTRACTElectric power distribution systems are highly vulnerable to disturbances, particularly short-circuit faults, which can reduce the reliability of power delivery and extend system recovery time. Therefore, a method capable of identifying fault locations quickly and accurately is required. This study aims to model and analyze the performance of an impedance-based fault locator  on the Rindam distribution feeder using PSCAD/EMTDC software. The research methodology includes modeling the Thevenin equivalent source, transformer, distribution line, and load system based on actual feeder data. Fault simulations were conducted at several locations, namely 25%, 50%, and 75% of the feeder length, with fault resistance variations of 0.001 Ω, 2 Ω, and 5 Ω. The simulated current and voltage parameters were used to calculate fault impedance and estimate the fault location. The results show that the impedance-based fault locator  method provides very high accuracy under low fault resistance conditions, with fault location estimation errors below 1%.Keyworsds: Fault locator , Impedance, PSCAD, fault location, Simulation

Abstract

ABSTRAKTransformasi digital di lingkungan akademik menuntut adanya sistem verifikasi dokumen yang aman, efisien, dan mudah diimplementasikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan tanda tangan digital dalam proses verifikasi Surat Permohonan Kuliah Kerja Profesi (KKP) dengan mengombinasikan algoritma Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) dan metode kompresi Deflate. Sistem dirancang melalui beberapa tahapan, meliputi preprocessing data surat untuk menggabungkan seluruh informasi penting ke dalam satu format string, kompresi data menggunakan metode Deflate, serta enkripsi menggunakan algoritma AES-128 dengan mode Cipher Block Chaining (CBC). Data terenkripsi selanjutnya dikonversi ke dalam bentuk QR Code yang berfungsi sebagai representasi tanda tangan digital. Proses verifikasi dilakukan dengan memindai QR Code menggunakan aplikasi client, kemudian dilakukan tahap dekripsi dan dekompresi untuk mengembalikan data ke bentuk aslinya. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menjaga kerahasiaan dan integritas data, mempercepat proses verifikasi administrasi, serta meminimalkan potensi kesalahan manusia dalam pengelolaan dokumen. Dengan demikian, integrasi algoritma AES dan metode Deflate dapat diterapkan secara efektif sebagai solusi verifikasi dokumen digital di lingkungan akademik. Kata Kunci: Tanda Tangan Digital, AES, Deflate, Enkripsi, Dokumen Akademik   ABSTRACTDigital transformation in academic environments requires a document verification system that is secure, efficient, and easy to implement. This study aims to implement a digital signature system for verifying Internship Application Letters (Kuliah Kerja Profesi/KKP) by combining the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm and the Deflate compression method. The system is designed through several stages, including preprocessing of letter data to merge essential information into a single string format, data compression using the Deflate method, and encryption using the AES-128 algorithm in Cipher Block Chaining (CBC) mode. The encrypted data is then converted into a QR Code, which serves as a digital signature representation. The verification process is carried out by scanning the QR Code using a client application, followed by decryption and decompression to restore the original data. The testing results indicate that the proposed system is capable of maintaining data confidentiality and integrity, accelerating administrative verification processes, and reducing human error in document management. Therefore, the integration of AES and Deflate proves to be an effective solution for digital document verification in academic institutions. Abstract

Variasi muka air laut akibat pasang surut diduga berpengaruh terhadap proses refraksi gelombang yang terjadi di sekitar pulau tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pasang surut terhadap refraksi gelombang pada Pulau Gusung. Metode yang digunakan meliputi analisis pasang surut dengan metode Admiralty menggunakan data tahun 2023, serta peramalan parameter gelombang melalui metode hindcasting berdasarkan data angin dan fetch periode 2019–2023. Selanjutnya dihitung koefisien refraksi gelombang pada kondisi pasang dan surut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perubahan muka air laut akibat pasang surut memengaruhi kedalaman perairan sehingga menyebabkan variasi nilai koefisien refraksi gelombang. Kondisi pasang menghasilkan nilai refraksi yang berbeda dibandingkan kondisi surut. Kesimpulannya, pasang surut berperan signifikan dalam mengontrol pola refraksi gelombang di Pulau Gusung. Temuan ini berimplikasi penting bagi perencanaan dan pengelolaan wilayah pesisir serta mitigasi abrasi di pulau-pulau kecil. KATA KUNCI Pasang Surut, Admiralty, Tinggi Gelombang, dan Periode Gelombang.   ABSTRACT: Pulau Gusung is a sandy island located in the coastal area of Makassar City that is strongly influenced by oceanographic dynamics, particularly tides and ocean waves. Variations in sea level caused by tidal fluctuations are presumed to affect the wave refraction process occurring around the island. This study aims to analyze the influence of tides on wave refraction at Pulau Gusung. The methods employed include tidal analysis using the Admiralty method based on 2023 tidal data, as well as wave parameter prediction using the hindcasting method derived from wind and fetch data for the period 2019–2023. Furthermore, wave refraction coefficients were calculated under tidal and low-tide conditions. The results indicate that sea level variations due to tides affect water depth, leading to changes in wave refraction coefficients. Tidal conditions produce different refraction values compared to low-tide conditions. In conclusion, tides play a significant role in controlling wave refraction patterns at Pulau Gusung. These findings have important implications for coastal planning, management, and abrasion mitigation on small islands.   Keywords: Tidal, Admiralty, Wave Height and Wave Period

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Sistem Penelitian ini menyajikan pengembangan prototipe sistem pemantauan ketinggian air berbasis NodeMCU V3 dan sensor ultrasonik yang terintegrasi dengan platform Blynk IoT untuk pemantauan secara real-time. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengatasi ketidakefisienan sistem monitoring manual di wilayah rawan banjir dengan menyediakan data ketinggian air secara akurat dan peringatan langsung melalui aplikasi seluler. NodeMCU V3 dipilih karena desainnya yang ringkas, biaya rendah, dan konektivitas Wi-Fi yang terintegrasi. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu memantau level air dengan akurasi tinggi (±1 cm) dan mengirimkan peringatan dalam hitungan detik ketika ambang batas terlampaui. Selain itu, sistem beroperasi secara andal selama masa uji coba dua minggu berturut-turut dengan tingkat ketersediaan (uptime) di atas 95%. Meskipun sistem ini menawarkan sejumlah keunggulan seperti biaya implementasi rendah dan kemudahan integrasi, terdapat keterbatasan berupa ketergantungan pada koneksi internet yang stabil serta kebutuhan pemeliharaan berkala. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi pada bidang teknik lingkungan dengan menyediakan alat monitoring berbasis IoT yang skalabel dan mudah diakses. Pengembangan lanjutan dapat mencakup integrasi sensor tambahan dan fitur kendali otomatis untuk mendukung manajemen sumber daya air yang lebih adaptif.KATA KUNCIPemantauan Level Air, NodeMCU V3, Sensor Ultrasonik, Blynk, Sistem IoT. ABSTRACT: This study presents the development of a water level monitoring system prototype based on NodeMCU V3 and ultrasonic sensors, integrated with the Blynk IoT platform for real-time monitoring. Designed to address the inefficiency of manual monitoring systems in flood-prone regions, the system provides accurate, real-time water level data and immediate alerts via a mobile application. The NodeMCU V3 was selected for its compact design, low cost, and integrated Wi-Fi connectivity. The testing phase demonstrated that the system could monitor water levels with high accuracy (±1 cm) and deliver alerts within seconds when thresholds were exceeded. Furthermore, the system operated reliably over a continuous two-week trial, with a system uptime above 95%. While the system offers key benefits such as low implementation cost and ease of integration, limitations include dependency on stable internet connectivity and the need for periodic maintenance. This work contributes to the field of environmental engineering by providing a scalable and accessible IoT-based monitoring tool. Future developments may include integration with additional sensors and control features to support automated water resource management. Abstract

ABSTRAK Permasalahan sampah domestik di wilayah pesisir dan pulau kecil menjadi isu lingkungan yang semakin kompleks, termasuk di Pulau Lae-Lae, Kecamatan Ujung Pandang, Kota Makassar. Keterbatasan lahan, sarana prasarana, serta rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat menyebabkan sistem pengolahan sampah belum berjalan optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi sistem pengolahan sampah di Pulau Lae-Lae berdasarkan aspek pewadahan, pengumpulan, pengangkutan, dan pengolahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi lapangan, kuesioner, dan data sekunder dari instansi terkait. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan standar pelayanan minimal persampahan dan scoring evaluative. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengolahan sampah domestik di Pulau Lae-Lae masih berada pada kategori cukup hingga kurang baik, terutama pada aspek pengolahan dan pengangkutan sampah, dan dilakukan 1 penambahan armada pengangkutan sampah yang di asumsikan kapasitas armada 500kg/rit, ritasi 30 menit dan 2 kali pengangkutan, serta sampah akan diolah berdasarkan jenisnya. Kesimpulannya, diperlukan peningkatan sistem pengolahan berbasis masyarakat serta dukungan infrastruktur yang memadai.   Kata Kunci: Evaluasi, Pengolahan sampah, Kernel Density, Sampah Domestik   ABSTRACT The problem of domestic waste in coastal areas and small islands is becoming an increasingly complex environmental issue, including on Lae-Lae Island, Ujung Pandang District, Makassar City. Limited land, infrastructure, and low community participation have resulted in the waste management system not being optimal. This study aims to evaluate the waste management system on Lae-Lae Island based on aspects of storage, collection, transportation, and processing. The research method used is descriptive quantitative and data collection techniques through field observations, questionnaires, and secondary data from related agencies. The analysis was conducted using minimum waste service standards and evaluative scoring. The results show that domestic waste management on Lae-Lae Island is still in the adequate to poor category, especially in the aspects of waste processing and transportation. One additional waste collection fleet was carried out with an assumed fleet capacity of 500 kg/trip, 30 minutes of trips and 2 transportation times, and waste will be processed based on its type. In conclusion, an improvement in the community-based processing system and adequate infrastructure support is needed.   Keywords: Evaluation, Waste Processing, Kernel Density, Domestic Waste.
