Abstract

Online gambling has become a significant phenomenon in the current digital era, giving rise to various implications and legal aspects that need to be considered. Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions (UU ITE) is one of the relevant legal foundations in regulating online gambling activities. The legal implications of online gambling according to the ITE Law include recognition of electronic evidence, law enforcement against violations that occur online, and protection of consumers involved in online gambling transactions. Legal aspects that need to be considered include determining legal sanctions for online gambling players, the obligation of organizers to comply with the provisions of the ITE Law, and efforts to prevent and overcome harmful online gambling practices. By understanding the implications and aspects of this law, it is hoped that a safer and more orderly digital environment can be created for people in their online activities.

Abstract

Education in institutions such as the Transportation Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDMP) has a crucial role in forming the character and discipline of cadets. One effective approach in achieving this goal is through implementing good time management. Time management not only helps cadets in completing tasks efficiently, but also contributes to the formation of self-discipline and strong character. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to explore the implementation of time management in BPSDMP and its impact on cadet discipline and character. Data was obtained through observation, interviews and collecting information from various sources. The research results show that effective time management allows cadets to organize their daily activities well, follow a strict schedule, and meet deadlines consistently. The application of time management at BPSDMP also has an impact on developing the character of cadets. They are taught to be responsible, work hard, and not give up easily in facing challenges. Cadet achievements in various fields such as academics and sports are clear evidence of the effectiveness of time management in forming strong character and high discipline. Case studies of several cadets who achieved achievements confirmed that the time management implemented at BPSDMP was successful in forming cadets who were disciplined and had strong character. Cadets are trained to value time, set goals, and work hard to achieve them. Their success does not only reflect academic or sporting achievements, but also the formation of character that is ready to face various challenges in the future. Implementing good time management at BPSDMP is a strategic step in forming cadet discipline and character. With high discipline and strong character, the cadets are expected to become future leaders with integrity and able to face various challenges in the world of work and everyday life.

Abstract

The development of sports infrastructure in the city of Medan is an important need to support the healthy and active lifestyle of its people. In this context, this research aims to analyze strategies for developing sports infrastructure in the Medan City area with a focus on increasing accessibility, quality of facilities and use of public spaces that support sports activities. The research method used is literature study to identify infrastructure needs, SWOT analysis to evaluate strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in developing sports infrastructure in Medan City. The results of this research show that the development of sports infrastructure needs to be integrated with spatial planning policies and sustainable city development. It is hoped that this research can provide guidance for policy makers in formulating strategies for developing effective and sustainable sports infrastructure in the city of Medan.

Abstract

The problem of slums is one of the main problems in urban development. This is quite controversial because there has been an actual effort to deal with slums along with the emergence and growth of new slums. The slums in Laut Dendang Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency will specifically instill a negative paradigm about government administration, portraying the government as powerless and incapable of regulating life and livelihood services for its citizens. People living in slums in Laut Dendang Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency, on the other hand, usually come from low-income groups, who are often responsible for disorder and violations of discipline in various social structures. Slums and housing problems in Laut Dendang Village, Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency have developed into problems that need to be solved collectively through the mandate of the law.

Abstract

The market is a facility that accommodates people's activities in shopping to meet their daily needs. Padang Sidempuan City has many markets, one of which is the Sangkumpal Bonang Traditional Market which is one of the traditional markets in Padang Sidempuan City that has not been properly facilitated. The condition of the Sangkumpal Bonang Traditional Market is now far from the standard of a traditional market. The need for special development in the Development of the Sangkumpal Bonang Market in accordance with traditional market standards. This research aims to determine the direction of the development of the Bonang Sangkumpal Market in the City of Padang Sidempuan City. Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze Customer Engagement (X1), Customer Experience (X2), and Customer Loyalty (Y) mediated by Emotional Bond (Z). The population in this study is consumers with 240 samples taken. The research was conducted from April to June 2024. This study uses quantitative data processed using the SEM-PLS analysis model with Smart PLS 3.0. application. The data source uses primary data taken directly from respondents and secondary data obtained from interviews with customers who come to PLN ULP Delitua The results of the study show that Customer Engagement has a positive and significant influence on satisfaction. Customer experience has a positive and insignificant effect on emotional bonding, the emotional bonding has a positive and insignificant effect on customer loyalty. The Customer Engagement and customer experience nt has a positive and significant effect on emotional bonding. Customer engagement and customer experience has a positive and significant influence on customer loyalty through emotional bonding.

Abstract

This study examines the role of AUKUS in enhancing Australia's military capacity within the context of the evolving geopolitical in the Indo-Pacific region. The trilateral security partnership between Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States, known as AUKUS, was established to increase Australia's defense capabilities, focusing on the development of nuclear-powered submarines, cyber security, artificial intelligence, and underwater warfare technologies. The analysis highlights how AUKUS addresses Australia's pre-existing military challenges by providing advanced technology and strategic support. The SSN-AUKUS submarines, integrating cutting-edge technology from all three nations, represent a significant advancement in Australia's naval capabilities. The partnership also emphasizes economic and social benefits, including job creation and infrastructure development. However, the study also considers potential drawbacks, such as increased regional tensions and the risks of an arms race. Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze Value Perception (X1), Trust (X2), and Customer Loyalty (Y) mediated by Satisfaction (Z). The population in this study is consumers with 80 samples taken. The research was conducted from April to June 2024. This study uses quantitative data processed using the SEM-PLS analysis model with Smart PLS 3.0. application. The data source uses primary data taken directly from respondents and secondary data obtained from interviews with customers who come to PLN UP3 North Medan. The results of the study show that value perception has a positive and significant influence on satisfaction. Trust has a positive and insignificant effect on satisfaction, the satisfaction has a positive and in significant effect on customer loyalty. Value perception, Trust has positive and significant to customer loyalty through satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to test and analyze hedonic shopping value (X1), shopping lifestyle (X2), and impulse buying behavior (Y) mediated by product knowledge (Z). The sample in this study is consumers with 115 samples taken. The research was conducted from April to June 2024. This study uses quantitative data processed using the SEM-PLS analysis model with Smart PLS 3.0. application. The data source uses primary data taken directly from respondents and secondary data obtained from interviews with customers who come to PT. Jaco Nusantara Mandiri Medan Branch which is located at Store Sun Plaza, Medan Mall, Brastagi Supermarket, Ringroad City Walk Mall, Plaza Medan Fair, and Thamrin Plaza. The results of the study show that hedonic shopping value has a positive and significant influence product knowledge. Shopping lifestyle has a positive and insignificant effect on product knowledge, the product knowledge has a positive and insignificant effect on impulse buying behavior. The hedonic shopping value and shopping life style has a positive and significant effect on product knowledge. Hedonic shopping value and shoppinglifestyle has a positive and significant influence on impulse buying behavior through product knowledge.

Abstract

The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of motivational spirit and work ethic on the lives of cadets and cadets of the Medan Polytechnic. The research design used in this writing is literature research and field research. The population in this study is all cadets and cadets totaling 10 people. Considering that the number of respondents was less than 100 people to answer the questionnaire that the author distributed and the availability of the author's time as well as for the accuracy of the research results. The types of data used are qualitative data and quantitative data. Data collection techniques are carried out by questionnaires, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the analysis of multiple linear regression, namely Ŷ=6.518 + 0.827X1 + 0.314X2, mean that there is a positive influence between motivation and work ethic on employee performance. The strength of the relationship between the three variables is strong, which is r = 0.791. From the determination coefficient, it can be explained whether or not employee performance of 62.5% can be explained by motivation and work ethic, while the remaining 37.5% is explained by other factors that are not discussed in this study. From the results of data processing and questionnaire calculations, the author concluded that the motivation and work ethic applied at the Medan Polytechnic had a positive and significant effect on employee performance.
