Abstract

Conveying messages through the medium of an animated video in today's life has become a necessity. However, there are still pros and cons to animation as a medium. One of them is the Islamic religious view of this work because it is related to drawing behavior. This situation creates a dilemma for animators because on the one hand, this job is a job that is quite in demand with relatively high pay, while on the other hand, work as an animator is more related to drawing activities because in a hadith there is a prohibition against drawing. This article focuses on what is the role and function of animation in human life today? How does animation serve various positive purposes in various aspects of human life today from a maqasid sharia perspective? The important conclusion of this article is that animation provides a number of benefits in maintaining and applying maqasid sharia because it has great power to influence human thoughts currently using visual-based technology. Whereas animator is a profession that provides benefits in the field of visual-based Islamic education and preaching, 3. Understanding the hadith which prohibits drawing living creatures needs to be reinterpreted in the context of Muslim life today.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clarify the signs of understanding religious moderation in Indonesia in Buya Yahya's view on the You Tube channel (Al-Bahjah TV). The observation technique of You Tube content material is used in collecting research data. Meanwhile, data analysis through content analysis. The results of the study state that in Buya Yahya's view, the promotion of religious moderation is a positive thing for the lives of Muslims in Indonesia as long as it does not conflict with Islamic values, both in value and practice. This is because in Buya Yahya's view, Islam actually contains wasatiyah teachings that require Muslims to be neither extreme left nor right. This research confirms that religious moderation in Indonesia can be synergistic with the spirit of the teachings of the formation of moderate Islamic religiosity as long as the value content and practice of its practice can be synergistic. The limitations of this research do not identify the constraints on the understanding of viewers who understand Buya Yahya's views related to religious moderation in Al-Bahjah TV.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of the mental revolution program in improving the work culture of State Civil Apparatus in the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Papua Province. Using a qualitative approach, this study combined in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis to collect data from 25 key informants. Data analysis integrated transformative learning theory, cultural intelligence model, and appreciative organisational change theory. The findings indicate a significant improvement in the work culture intelligence of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Papua Province, especially in the metacognitive dimension, and a surprising transformation of perspective in an initially resistant group. This study expands understanding of the intersection between transformative learning, cultural intelligence, and organisational change in religious institutions. The theoretical implications include the development of a new framework for change management that is sensitive to cultural and spiritual contexts in a highly diverse region.
