Abstract

Humans are able to carry out face recognition in everyday of life, where faces are a unique identity, are a complex problem in machine learning. Face recognition technology is also very useful in various fields today, such as access control, attendance and security systems. This study aims to obtain a level of accuracy in classifying image data with a combination of algorithm haar-like feature with convolutional neural network, where haar-like feature is used to detect faces in image data, while convolutional neural network is used for face recognition. Image data using in this study, Japanes Female Facial Expression (JAFFE), the experimental results give the best accuracy results at the 500 epoch of 95.14% and a running time of 1.52 seconds.

Abstract

One technique to improve connection stability in a network is to use more than one Internet Service Provider (ISP). To make this possible, a load balancer is needed. Examples of load balancers are Per Connection Classifier (PCC) and Equal Cost Multi-Path (ECMP). However, both load balancers have drawbacks, where if there is an overload in one ISP line resulting in an imbalance in bandwidth usage, the two load balancers divert all traffic to another ISP. This study analyzes the performance of several load balancing techniques when applied to Mikrotik to maximize traffic flow with dual lanes. The experiment was carried out by applying the PCC, ECMP load balancer on the internet network. The independent parameters observed were throughput, jitter, and delay. The Fuzzy method will choose the ISP that will forward the data with the optimum bandwidth, because this method takes into account the amount of data that will be sent to the gateway through the ISP. The results of the measurement of Quality Of Service (QoS) network performance parameters such as throughput, jitter and delay with PCC and ECMP methods between ISP1 and ISP2 are throughput 22113.58 Kbps, Jitter 63.79 ms, delay 0.000578 ms. While in Utami's research (2017) with the PCC method, measuring Throughput is 2.9 Kbps, Delay is 135.25 ms and Jitter is 65.25 ms.

Abstract

ISPA disease is one of the most common types of disease suffered in Aceh. The method used in this research is fuzzy c means algorithm to cluster the spread of ISPA disease areas in Aceh Utara. The data used is the data on patients with ISPA in 2021 obtained from Cut Meutia General Hospital and Arun Hospital. The attributes used consist of the patient's age, patient's address, patient's gender and the type of ISPA the patient suffered. In this research only focused on 3 types of ISPA, namely Pneumonia, Bronchitis and ISPA. The existing data will then be grouped into 3 clusters, namely low cluster, medium cluster and high cluster. The results of clustering the spread of ISPA in Aceh Utara show that the highest case is in Dewantara District, the medium cluster are Muara Batu, Nisam, Nisam Antara, Sawang, and Tanah Jambo Aye Districts, and the low cluster is Baktiya, Baktiya Barat, Banda Baro, Cot Girek, Geureudong Pase, Kuta Makmur, Langkahan, Lapang, Lhoksukon, Matang Kuli, Meurah Mulia, Nibong, Paya Bakong, Pirak Timu, Samudera, Seunudon, Simpang Keramat, Syamtalira Aron, Syamtalira Bayu, Tanah Luas and Tanah Pasir Districts. With the results of this clustering, it is expected that the provision of drug stocks for ISPA will be prioritized in cluster areas with the highest spread rates.

Abstract

To improve company performance, employees are one of the important elements in this regard, especially in the placement of new employees. The procedure for placing new employees in this case is carried out with Fuzzy Logic. The input parameters used are IQ Test, Psychological Test and Academic Test. To express the preferences of decision makers on the most desirable alternatives, it can be done by transforming the preference format of Utility Vectors to Fuzzy Preference Relation. Furthermore, choosing the SAW method to determine the weight value for each attribute, which is continued with the ranking process to select the best alternative, in this case it is a suitable alternative to determine the employee's work position in accordance with predetermined criteria. With this method, it is hoped that the assessment will be more precise and accurate because it is based on predetermined criteria and weights.

Abstract

The learning and teaching process is an important activity to achieve learning objectives. However, in practice it often happens that the process does not run as it should. One important component in the learning and teaching process is attendance. The discipline of student attendance shows that they have a good interest in their studies and needs to be recorded so that attendance data is stored and presented properly. Manual attendance recording is a problem of effectiveness and efficiency. This research proposes a system for monitoring student attendance using mobile applications. The results of the study show that it is easier and faster for students to take attendance and easier for teachers to recap student attendance and also become the basis for decision making when giving final grades.
