Abstract

In the era of rapid digital transformation, public institutions are increasingly required to maintain a positive and credible image to gain public trust. Public relations (PR) plays a strategic role in this process by facilitating effective communication, fostering transparency, and enhancing institutional reputation. This study investigates the influence of public relations on institutional image, with a focus on the West Java Province Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM). Utilizing a quantitative research method with a causal associative approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires distributed both online and offline to individuals who had interacted with BPSDM. The findings indicate a strong and statistically significant relationship between the role of public relations and the formation of a positive institutional image. The coefficient of determination (R²) reached 0.820, suggesting that 82% of the changes in public perception are influenced by PR efforts. BPSDM’s use of digital platforms, especially Instagram, has proven effective in disseminating information, engaging with the public, and strengthening institutional visibility. Various content strategies—ranging from informative to interactive are employed to reach diverse audiences. Regular evaluation of engagement metrics such as likes, comments, and views supports continuous improvement in communication strategies. This study highlights the importance of positioning public relations as a core element in institutional management, not merely as a supportive function. Government institutions, therefore, are encouraged to invest in digital communication capabilities and strategic public relations planning to foster sustainable public trust and a resilient institutional image.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of Salapak Mikroshop support on the business sustainability of new micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bandung. A quantitative, associative research design was used to test the hypothesized causal relationship between Salapak support (independent variable) and MSME sustainability (dependent variable). Data were collected via closed-ended questionnaires (5-point Likert scale) from a random sample of the 80 micro-entrepreneurs participating in the Salapak program (culinary, fashion, and crafts sectors) and analyzed using SPSS. Validity and reliability tests confirmed that all survey items were sound (Cronbach’s α = 0.960 for Salapak support; 0.922 for sustainability). Multiple regression results showed that Salapak support has a strong, positive, and statistically significant effect on MSME sustainability (β = 0.839, t = 13.531, p < 0.001). The model explains 70.4% of the variance in sustainability (R² = 0.704), indicating that Salapak support is a major determinant, while the remaining 29.6% is due to other factors. These findings imply that Salapak’s initiatives – including enhanced market access, business training/mentoring, and product promotion – substantially improve entrepreneurs’ ability to sustain their businesses. Future research should explore additional factors (e.g., digitalization, capital access) to fully understand MSME sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the extent of the influence of the Utilization of Digital Technology (X) on the Sustainability of MSME Businesses (Y). In this research process, a quantitative method was applied with a random sampling technique, namely random sampling where each individual in the population has an equal chance of being selected. The results of this study show a stimulant influence on variable X on variable Y, with the results of data processed using SPSS 30 amounting to 93.5% while the remaining 6.5% comes from other factors outside the scope of this study and is not subject to further analysis. Although this shows the significant use of digital technology on the sustainability of MSME businesses, there are also other external factors that must be considered again in further research which will later obtain a more comprehensive picture of the sustainability of MSME businesses.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work climate on teacher job satisfaction at SMK Skye Digipreneur Bandung. Work climate is measured through relationships between teachers, leadership, and communication, while job satisfaction is seen from comfort, appreciation, and opportunities for development. The study used a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The sample of the study was all 60 teachers, with a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument was a Likert scale questionnaire, which was tested for validity and reliability, then analyzed using simple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results showed that work climate has a positive and significant effect on teacher job satisfaction. The regression coefficient value of 0.702 with a significance of 0.000 (<0.05) proves that the better the work climate, the higher the teacher job satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.840 indicates that 84% of the variation in job satisfaction can be explained by work climate, while the remaining 16% is influenced by other factors. These findings emphasize the importance of supportive leadership, effective communication, and harmonious working relationships in improving teacher satisfaction. It is recommended that further research involve a larger number of respondents and consider other variables that can influence teacher satisfaction. Work."

Abstract

This study analyzes the management of performance allowances for educational staff at the Faculty of Language and Literature Education (FPBS), Indonesian Education University (UPI). Performance allowance is additional compensation based on work achievement, designed to boost motivation, productivity, and overall organizational performance. While this allowance is crucial for improving productivity, accountability, and the quality of administrative services, its implementation at FPBS UPI faces challenges. These challenges include a low understanding of indicators, a lack of transparency in evaluation, and suboptimal use of information technology. Such obstacles can hinder the achievement of objectives and lower employee motivation and satisfaction. Using a descriptive quantitative approach through observation and interviews, this study aims to describe the current state of performance allowance management. The results indicate that the management of performance allowances is considered relatively good by employees. The majority of employees understand the performance indicators, perceive the evaluation mechanism as transparent, and feel the efficiency benefits of information technology. However, improvements are still needed in system communication and complaint procedures. The findings are expected to provide a comprehensive overview of the performance allowance system's implementation and its success factors
