Abstract

This research aims to determine the variables of the influence of work motivation and work discipline on employee performance at PT. The Goodwood Interior Design Cengkareng, West Jakarta. The method used in this research is an associative quantitative research method where the data obtained is in the form of a questionnaire which is processed using the SPSS 2.6 application. Data analysis used includes: Descriptive Statistical Test, Normality, Multicollinearity, Heteroscedasticity, Autocorrelation, Simple Linear Regression, Multiple Linear Regression, t Test (Partial), F Test (Simultaneous), Correlation Coefficient (R) and Determination Coefficient (R2). The results of the research partially show that motivation has a significant effect on employee performance as seen from the t test, the value obtained is tcount > ttable (5.322 > 1.99167) and is significant 0.000 < 0.05. Then, the work discipline variable has a significant effect on employee performance, seen from the t test, the value obtained is tcount > ttable (4.414 > 1.99167) and is significant 0.000 < 0.05. Then simultaneously the motivation variable and the work discipline variable have a significant effect on employee performance as evidenced by the Fcount value of 63.502 and a significance value of 0, while the Ftable value is at a significance level of 0.05 with df 1 (number of variables -1) 3-1 = 2, and df 2 (nk-1) or = 78-2-1 = 75, the F table value is 3.12. So it can be concluded that Fcount > Ftable (63.502 > 3.12) and significance < 0.05 (0 < 0.05), then Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that Work Motivation and Work Discipline together influence employee performance.

Abstract

In the modern business landscape, organizations must navigate rapidly changing environments to maintain competitiveness and relevance. The Agile concept, initially developed for software development, has since been adopted across diverse industries to enhance organizational flexibility and responsiveness. This paper explores the application of Agile methodologies in improving organizational adaptability. The study employs a qualitative approach, reviewing existing literature, case studies, and examples of organizations that have successfully implemented Agile practices outside of software development. Through this method, the research highlights how Agile principles—such as flexibility, transparency, and iterative planning—can be utilized to foster cross-functional collaboration, accelerate decision-making, and enable organizations to respond quickly to market changes. Additionally, the paper discusses the cultural shifts required to implement Agile, including the breakdown of traditional hierarchical structures and the promotion of self-organizing teams. By integrating continuous feedback loops and customer-centric approaches, Agile supports more dynamic, responsive operations. Case studies across various industries demonstrate the real-world benefits of adopting Agile for enhancing organizational responsiveness, improving customer satisfaction, and increasing innovation. The findings suggest that organizations that embrace Agile are better equipped to navigate uncertainties and capitalize on new opportunities in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Data analysis used validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient and hypothesis test. The results of this study are that training has a significant effect on employee performance, the regression equation value is Y = 20.692 + 0.899 X1, the correlation coefficient value is 0.753, meaning that the two variables have a strong relationship. The determination or contribution result is 0.567 or 56.7% while the remaining 43.3% is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis test obtained t count value> t table or (9.920> 1.992). Thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance with the value of the regression equation Y = 20.692 + 0.899 X1, the correlation coefficient value obtained is 0.753, meaning that the two variables have a strong level of relationship. The results of the determination or contribution of its influence are 0.567 or 56.7% while the remaining 43.3% is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis testing obtained a calculated t value> t table or (9.920> 1.992). Thus, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, Training and work discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with the value of the regression equation Y = 21.906 + 0.617X2, the correlation coefficient value is 0.583, meaning that the two variables have a moderate level of relationship. The determination or contribution value of its influence is 0.340 or 34.0% while the remaining 66.0% is influenced by other factors. The left-hand side hypothesis test obtained a calculated t value > t table or (6.214 > 1.992). This is reinforced by obtaining a significance of 0.000 < 0.05, thus H0 is rejected and H2 is accepted.
