Abstract

The use of a steam carburetor is one way to reduce exhaust gas emissions where it works by mixing fuel and air in the room with an evaporation process so that the air and fuel mixture is more homogeneous. This study aims to see (1) the effect of using a steam carburetor on exhaust gases on a Supra X motorcycle; (2) the effect of using variations in exhaust gas emissions on the Supra X motorcycle; (3) the effect of using steam carburetors and fuel variations on the exhaust emissions of the Supra X motorbike. This research is a research, quantitative, descriptive, comparative, with experimental methods. The research used the 2x2 method which consists of independent variables using steam and conventional carburetors as well as variations of pertalite (RON 90) and pertamax (RON92) fuel. Exhaust gas emission testing is guided by the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) with three repetitions, for 20 seconds times the test The results of the study are as follows: First, the use of a steam carburetor produces lower exhaust emissions compared to conventional carburetors on a 100cc Supra X motorcycle. Second, pertalite fuel (RON 90) produces lower exhaust emissions compared to Pertamax fuel (RON 92). Third, the effect of using the type of carburetor and the type of fuel that produces the lowest exhaust emission, namely the steam carburetor using the combined splash and bubbling method with pertalite fuel with an average of 0.52% CO and 273.67ppm HC.

Abstract

The objective from this research is to find Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) how the learning implementation design (RPP) made by TKR teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo that meets Higher Order Thinking Skills elements; (2) implementation of learning activities carried out by TKR teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo; (3) implementation of learning assessments made by TKR teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo which leads to elements of higher order thinking skills. This research is a mixed methods research. Data sources came from 98 students from TKR XI, Teachers of Smk Negeri 2 Sukoharjo. Data techniques include questionnaires, documentation and observation. This study uses data validity using sampling techniques and the Slovin formula. The research procedure consists of research methods, preparation of research instruments, data collection, data analysis, drawing conclusions. The conclusion is (1) The Learning Implementation design (RPP) made by TKR class XI teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo has damaged it to fulfill the elements of higher-order thinking skills; (2) The implementation of learning activities by TKR teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo has attempted to implement learning activities that lead to higher-order thinking skills; (3) The assessment or evaluation of learning made by TKR teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Sukoharjo has led to elements of measuring higher-order thinking skills.

Abstract

New and renewable energy (EBT) is a source of energy that can be created by humans by utilizing solid waste from industrial processing. One example of making renewable energy is RDF. Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) is a form of solid waste utilization that is used from industries and households which have a high calorific value which can be used as a new alternative fuel. RDF is the treatment of waste which is used as an alternative energy material. The materials used to make RDF in this study are coffee grounds and bagasse. For the manufacture of coffee grounds and bagasse are mixed and adhesive is added. The mixture ratio is 100: 0, 30: 70,50: 50,70: 30, and 0: 100 for adhesive concentration using 10%, 20%, and 30%. The finished RDF-5 is tested by testing the burn time. Tests were carried out at the Laboratory of Mechanical Engineering Education, FKIP UNS. The method used an experimental method. The variables examined in this study are the independent variables, the dependent variable and the control variable. The free variation consists of variations between the composition of coffee grounds and bagasse with the following ratios 100: 0, 70:30, 50:50, 30:70, and 0: 100 as well as variations in adhesive concentrations of 10%, 20%, and 30%. The dependent variable consists of burn time. The control variables consist of the RDF-5 printer with a pressure of 6 kg / cm2 and a filter used with a size of 10 mesh. The best test results for burning time are 30 bagasse + 70 coffee grounds mixed with 30% adhesive concentration with a result of 1370 seconds.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the position of the quadrant in each study program in the Ex-POK Department and the Ex-Department of Education using a SWOT analysis (2) (Strength Weakness Opportunity Threath) to plan strategic planning for the ex-POK and ex Department of Education as an effort to improve the quality of education. This study uses a quantitative qualitative approach with a population consisting of lecturers, students, and alumni of the last five years in each study program. The sampling technique uses purpose sampling. Data collection uses questionnaires / quisioners, observation and documentation. Data analysis using flow model techniques. The results showed that the Primary School Teacher Education Program, Guidance and Counseling and Physical Education, Health and Recreation Education were in quadrant I using a progressive planning strategy in the three study programs based on the results of the SWOT analysis: (1) HR capacity improvement. (2) Making the student achievement program (the most outstanding student) a superior program for students. (3) Implement curriculum in a disciplined and responsible manner. (4) Increasing international journal publications for elementary school teacher education study program lecturers. (5) Periodically improve maintenance of infrastructure. (6) Conduct an analysis of budget requirements to draft a budget. (7) Applying work based learning in student learning. (8) Develop a clear SOP for the study program management organization. (9) Improve communication between universities and the world of work. (10) Improve the performance of the multimedia team and information in the study program. (11) Improving cooperative relations with partner institutions. (12) Establish cooperation with the government in the regions to distribute study program graduates.
