Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi sektor otomotif di Indonesia saat ini berkembang sangat pesat. Seiring bertambahnya jumlah kendaraan bermotor, maka kebutuhan Bahan Bakar Minyak meningkat, padahal BBM termasuk unrenewable energy. Pakar geologi memperkirakan minyak bumi kita hanya dapat memenuhi kebutuhan penduduk Indonesia selama 16 tahun. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk menghemat konsumsi bahan bakar adalah dengan penambahan etanol dan pemanasan bahan bakar. Pemanasan bahan bakar dilakukan di uppertank radiator dengan menggunakan pipa bersirip longitudinal. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan etanol dan pemanasan bahan bakar terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar mobil Toyota Kijang. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengukur bahan bakar setelah dilakukan uji jalan sesuai SNI 7554 tahun 2010. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penurunan konsumsi bahan bakar. Konsumsi bahan bakar terendah pada penambahan etanol 15% menggunakan pemanasan dengan pipa bersirip longitudinal 3 sirip, sebesar 103,03 ml/km setiap siklus atau sebesar 48,87.

Abstract

Persediaan minyak dunia mulai menipis sedangkan permintaan bahan bakar meningkat sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Hal tersebut memerlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan bahan bakar. Biodiesel yang berasal dari minyak "jelantah" merupakan salah satu alternatif bahan bakar yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen. Objek penelitian menggunakan mesin diesel Isuzu Panther 4JA1. Bahan bakar yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah campuran biodiesel 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%. Pipa bersirip yang digunakan berbentuk radial dengan variasi jarak 10mm, 20mm, 30mm. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan biodiesel pada bahan bakar solar dan pemanasan bahan bakar dengan menggunakan pipa bersirip radial di dalam upper tank radiator terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar (uji jalan sesuai SNI 7554:2010). Analisis data menggunakan diskriptif komparatif dengan memvariasikan bahan bakar pada jarak antar sirip upper tank radiator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan konsumsi bahan bakar yang telah dicampur minyak jelantah" dan pemanasan pipa bersirip radial berpengaruh terhadap konsumsi bahan bakar. Konsumsi paling hemat diperoleh pada campuran biodiesel 20% sebesar 211,7 ml/km. Pada jarak sirip 30 mm sebesar 211,7 ml/km. Penggunaan biodiesel pada bahan bakar solar dan pemanasan pipa bersirip radial ditujukkan dengan konsumsi pada campuran 20% dan jarak sirip 30 mm sebesar 211,7 ml/km hemat 152,7 ml atau 50%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to: (1) investigate the effect of fuel heating through spiral-fin pipes in the radiator upper tank towards exhaust gases opacity of Mitsubishi L300 Diesel Engine. (2) investigate the effect of biodiesel adding into diesel fuel towards exhaust gases opacity of Mitsubishi L300 Diesel Engine. (3) investigate the effect of fuel heating through spiral-fin pipes in the radiator upper tank and biodiesel adding into diesel fuel towards exhaust gases opacity of Mitsubishi L300 Diesel Engine. (4) investigate the best result beetwen fuel heating through spiral-fin pipes in the radiator upper tank and biodiesel adding into diesel fuel towards exhaust gases opacity of Mitsubishi L300 Diesel Engine. This research was a quantitative with experiments methods. The result of this reserach is: (1) Fuel heating decreased opacity level of Mitsubishi L300 diesel engine. The largest decrease of opacity level occured on fuel heating using spiral fin pipes with 6 spiral threads 44,175 (%). (2) The addition of biodiesel into diesel fuel decreared opacity level of Mitsubishi L300 diesel engine. The best opacity level occured in addition the mix of 30% biodiesel and 70% diesel fuel 39,025 (%). (3) Fuel heating and addition at biodiesel in diesel fuel decreased opacity level in Mitsubishi L300 diesel engine. The largest decrease of opacity level occured at 30% biodiesel and 70% diesel fuel level and fuel heating used the spiral fin pipes with 2 spiral thread 34,4 (%).

Abstract

Permintaan ikan budidaya tambak semakin meningkat dan bervariasi, tetapi mahalnya pakan ikan untuk pemenuhan nutrisi ikan budidaya tambak semakin meningkat. Modifikasi mesin pencacah ganda dikembangkan dan diteliti untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pembuatan pakan ikan dari limbah ikan yang melimpah. Investigasi eksperimental dilakukan dengan mengombinasikan analisis efisiensi dan tekno-ekonomi modifikasi mesin pencacah ganda di UMKM Margo Mulyo Abadi. Pengambilan data penelitian efisiensi dilakukan sebanyak 4-5 replikasi dengan menggunakan limbah ikan kering dan limbah ikan basah pada pemotongan manual dan mesin pencacah ganda sebagai perbandingan. Biaya produksi mesin pencacah ganda diperhitungkan untuk menentukan keterjangkauan mesin yang diusulkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kecepatan pembuatan pakan ikan dari limbah ikan basah lebih lama dibanding limbah ikan kering baik menggunakan pemotongan manual maupun mesin pencacah ganda. Mesin pencacah ganda jauh lebih cepat daripada pemotongan manual dalam membuat pakan ikan dari limbah ikan basah dan kering dengan kapasitas hingga 210 kg/jam dibandingkan hanya 15 kg/jam dengan pemotongan manual. Mesin pencacah ganda diukur dan didapatkan skor REBA 3 berisiko rendah sedangkan pemotongan manual mempunyai skor REBA 8 berisiko tinggi. Kelayakan penggunaan dan ekonomi mesin ini direkomendasikan karena rendah biaya produksi dan aman dalam penggunaannya.

Abstract

Liquified Petroleum Gas is a gaseous hydrocarbon produced from gas and oil with the main components being propane and butane. The use of LPG gas fuel was chosen because it is able to reduce the amount of fuel consumption by up to 30% more efficient than fuel oil in general. The use of LPG fuel can be optimized by modifying the size of the pilot jet, the size of the main jet and the gas flow valve opening on the regulator. The purpose of this study was to investigate how big the ratio of fuel consumption between LPG fuel and pertalite fuel is. This study used Honda Supra 125 D as a sample. The variables used in this study include: variations in the size of the pilot jet (40, 42, 45), variations in the size of the main jet (72, 98, 120) and the gas flow valve opening on the regulator (10%, 15%, 20%). The results showed that the lowest LPG fuel consumption value was obtained at 156.5 grams per 10 kilometers, while the pertalite fuel consumption value was obtained at 232.9 grams (after converting from liters to grams). The most influential factor is the replacement of the main jet size on the use of LPG fuel.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are (1) Knowing and obtaining the results of the investigation of the effect of variations in spark plug types on exhaust emissions of HC, CO, CO2 and O2 on Beat FI 2016 motorbikes (2) Knowing and obtaining the results of investigating the effect of variations in fuel on exhaust emissions HC, CO, CO2 and O2 on Beat FI 2016 motorbikes (3) Knowing and obtaining the results of the investigation of the effect of spark plug types and fuel variations on exhaust emissions of HC, CO, CO2 and O2 on Beat FI 2016 motorbikesThis research uses descriptive quantitative research with experimental research methods. Measurement of exhaust emissions in accordance with SNI 09-7118.3-2005. The population in this study was a Honda Beat FI motorcycle. The sample in this study was a Honda Beat FI motorbike in 2016. The data collection technique was using purposive sampling. The research was conducted at Dishubkominfo Surakarta city using the gaz analyzer technotest.Results of this research is (1) The use of a combination of pertalite fuels and iridium plugs generates the lowest HC rate of 118.67 ppm or a decrease of 32.58% (2) The use of pertalite fuel with platinum plugs decreases by producing the lowest CO rate of 0.487% or decrease 3.31% (3) pertamax fuel with standard plugs resulted in the lowest CO2 exhaust emission of 10.5% with a difference of 2.27 or decrease 17.75% (4) use of pertalite fuel with standard plugs capable of producing O2 exhaust gas emissions of 1.057% or the lowest.

Abstract

This research aims to : 1) Investigate the effect of heating fuel through radial finned copper pipe in the upper tank of the radiator exhaust emissions on cars Suzuki APV; 2) Investigate the effect of adding ethanol to the fuel pertalite against exhaust emissions on cars Suzuki APV; 3) Investigate the effect of heating fuel through radial finned copper pipe in the upper tank of the radiator and the addition of ethanol to the fuel pertalite against exhaust emissions on cars Suzuki APV; 4) Analyze the comparison between the results of the fuel mixture pertalite heating and heating fuel ethanol pertamax through two copper pipe to the exhaust emissions of the Suzuki APV. This research use you right experimental method with a comparative descriptive data analysis. The sample used is a Suzuki APV with G15A1D100006 machine number. Data were obtained from a large  measurement exhaust emission levels CO and HC for 20 seconds at idle rotation with variations mix pertalite and ethanol as much as 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, and 30% using the method without heating fuel and the use of heating fuel through a copper pipe finned radial variation fin spacing of 10 mm, 20 mm and 30 mm In the upper radiator tank. Data obtained from the research that is inserted into the table and displayed in a graph, and then analyzed. The results of this study were: 1) heating fuel pertalite in radial finned pipe through the upper radiator tank to the injection cars Suzuki APV can decrease the value of exhaust emissions of CO and HC;2) Addition of ethanol in fuel pertalite with higher levels of 0% to 20% decline in the value of exhaust emissions of CO and HC. Exhaust emissions of CO and HC to increase again in the levels of ethanolblending with levels of 25% and 30%; 3) heating fuel in a radial finned pipe through the upper radiator tank to the injection Suzuki APV car down the value of exhaust emissions of CO and HC. Value exhaust emissions lowest CO occur in the application of finned pipe distance of 10 mm with a mixture of 20% ethanol content of 19% and HC 0.3 by 2 24 to 33 ppm; 4) The value of exhaust emissions of CO and HC in blending ethanol content to 20% lower than the lowest value of the results of exhaust emissions of CO and HC pertamax pure with a value of 0.354% levels of CO and HC at 229.67 Ppm.

Abstract

Vehicle performance will decrease with increasing age of use, it can be seen from the weakening initial torque and the power of the vehicle when driving unlike the initial production. Magic ring a tool produced by CV. SUMI INOTECH which utilizes the overlapping process of valves. The magic ring mounted on the header exhaust manifold serves to restore exhaust gas that is wasted from the overlapping process to return to the combustion chamber so as to produce more power to push the piston and the performance of the vehicle will increase. This study used an experimental method with the research object of Yamaha Vega RR in 2014. The magic ring used was the 16 mm magic ring serial number (ASJS032125) and the same magic ring but the inner diameter was enlarged to 18 mm. Using descriptive quantitative data analysis, it was found that the use of the magic ring added torque from the standard condition of 7.42% in the use of the 16 mm magic ring and increased by 7.12% in the use of the 18 mm magic ring. The power of the vehicle increased only 0.24% when using the magic ring 16 mm, and the use of the magic ring 18 mm power remained the same as the standard condition.

Abstract

Indonesia has an ambitious national energy goal of developing electric vehicles (EVs). Electric vehicles can be a solution to reduce energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions in the transportation sector. So this research has an important role in directing the right policies to realize these targets. This study aims to analyze the factors that influence the people of Surakarta to buy an electric car. The research sample is the people of Surakarta as many as 348 people. The test results were analyzed using multiple linear regression method with analysis using SPSS version 25. The results of this study indicate that gender, education level, and people's income affect the willingness to buy electric cars. These factors together have an effect of 16.5% on the willingness to pay for an electric car. In addition, the average WTP value for purchasing electric cars is estimated to be around Rp. 179,885,058.00.
