Abstract

This study explores the factors that influence the use of QRIS as a digital payment method in Pekanbaru City using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 3 (UTAUT-3) approach. The sample of this study consisted of 100 respondents who were purposefully selected, including respondents of various ages, occupations, and frequencies of QRIS use in Pekanbaru City. Data were analysed using the SmartPLS application. The results show that habit (H) has a significant effect on Behavioral Intention (BI) and usage behaviour (UB). In addition, Hedonic motivation (HM), personal Innovativeness (PI), and Price Value (PV) are significant to BI, while PI also directly affects UB. In contrast, BI on UB, Effort expectancy (EE), Facilitating Conditions (FC), performance expectancy (PE), and Social influence (SI) do not show a significant effect. These findings indicate the importance of strengthening user habits, hedonic values, and personal innovation in developing QRIS features and marketing strategies to accelerate its adoption. The findings of this study indicate the need for QRIS service developers, policymakers, and business actors to focus on strengthening user habits, increasing hedonic motivation, price-based incentives, and encouraging personal innovation to accelerate the adoption of QRIS as a digital payment method while expanding understanding of the factors that influence the adoption of digital payment technology in the context of QRIS.

Abstract

The Directorate General of Sea Transportation, under Indonesia's Ministry of Transportation, developed Inaportnet as a digital platform mandated by Ministerial Regulation Number PM 8 of 2022 to streamline ship service procedures and enhance e-government implementation. This study evaluates the user experience (UX) of the Inaportnet website, focusing on its usability, security, and overall design using a user-centred design (UCD) approach and the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method. Data were collected from 56 respondents, including stakeholders such as ship operators, port authorities, and service users. The findings reveal critical shortcomings: 95% of respondents encountered frequent bugs affecting usability, 65% highlighted security concerns, 60% criticised the cluttered interface, 40% experienced access failures, and 50% expressed low engagement with the platform's features. To address these challenges, the website was redesigned using UCD principles, resulting in significant improvements. The redesigned platform achieved "Good" ratings for attractiveness, stimulation, and novelty, and "Above Average" ratings for clarity, efficiency, and accuracy in UEQ metrics, indicating enhanced usability and user satisfaction. This study underscores the importance of iterative UX design in optimising digital government systems, offering actionable insights for improving public service platforms in developing countries.

Abstract

This research develops an automatic waste classification system using deep learning based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) to support the implementation of Smart Waste Management (SWM). The main objective of this research is to design and test a CNN model that is able to classify various types of waste, such as plastic, paper, organic, and other non-organic waste, with high accuracy and efficiency. The developed CNN model successfully achieved an accuracy rate of 94.86% on the training dataset. The system performed very well in classifying recyclable waste with a precision of 56.6% and recall of 63.5%, although it still faces challenges in the classification of organic waste with a precision of 45.7% and recall of 38.8%. This research also includes model validation using cross-validation techniques to ensure the generalizability of the model on different datasets. In addition, tests were conducted on external datasets to evaluate the robustness of the model under real-world conditions. Data preprocessing techniques such as image normalisation and data augmentation were used to improve the performance of the model. The results show that a CNN-based automated waste classification system has great potential to be implemented in SWM systems, enabling more efficient and automated waste management. However, there are still some challenges such as high variation in litter images and dataset limitations that need to be addressed for future development of a more robust system

Abstract

WeTV is one of the video on demand streaming services, or what is usually called a video streaming application service provider based on applications and websites. Several problems have occurred with the WeTV application. Such as applications that are incomplete / lack updates to the content provided, user complaints that cannot be resolved by WeTV, and applications that suddenly error. Therefore, the application was analysed using the E-servqual, IPA (Importance Performance Analysis) and CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) methods. The main objective of this research is to assess the level of user satisfaction with the WeTV application and identify areas that need improvement. Based on the test results using E-servqual, the attributes tested are Efficiency, Responsiveness, Compensation, Fulfillment, System Availability, Privacy and Contact, the results show that the overall expectation value is higher than the perception value (reality) and the Q ≤ 1 value is 0.68. In the IPA method, a cartesian diagram is obtained in each quadrant. The results on CSI get a value of 64.21% with a fairly satisfied category. Therefore, the application does not meet the standards or cannot be said to be good because it does not meet the standards of user expectations

Abstract

The development of the global entertainment industry, especially K-pop, has driven innovation in digital applications. Mnet Plus, a mobile-based application, is designed to enhance user experience with various interactive features. Mnet Plus created a communication platform that provides an experience for global users to enjoy K-pop content. However, in its use, there are still several problems that make users less satisfied with the application. This issue is important to address because user satisfaction is the main indicator of an application's success and can influence loyalty and continued use. This research aims to determine the level of user satisfaction and the factors influencing it on the Mnet Plus application. This research uses a quantitative approach and the End User Computing Satisfaction (EUCS) method with five variables, namely content, accuracy, format, ease of use, and timeliness. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to users of the Mnet Plus application and then processing it using the SPSS 25 program for further analysis. The results of the analysis that was carried out show that of the five hypotheses that were partially tested, two hypotheses were rejected, namely the content and format variables. Simultaneously, the five variables have a significant effect on user satisfaction of the Mnet Plus application. The practical implication of these findings is the need for application developers to prioritize technical performance improvements, interface simplification, and feature timeliness.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse information security risks in the Inaportnet system at the Port Authority Class II Tanjung Buton using the ISO/IEC 27005:2018 standard. The system is a digital innovation designed to expedite port services but faces significant challenges in information security. The first step involved identifying assets within the Inaportnet system, followed by recognizing potential threats and vulnerabilities associated with these assets. This process is crucial as it lays the groundwork for understanding where risks may arise. The research employs the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method to identify, assess, and prioritise risks based on assets, threats, vulnerabilities, and existing controls. A total of 17 risks were identified, categorized from "very low" to "low" priority levels. The highest risk involves operational disruption due to sudden power outages, with an RPN score of 72. This study proposes risk mitigation recommendations, including Systems connected to the internet that are vulnerable to cyberattacks, such as hacking or malware, which can result in data theft or service disruptions. Therefore, it is essential to implement firewalls and intrusion detection systems to safeguard the network against external threats. The findings provide practical guidance for improving the information security and operational reliability of the Inaportnet system. By implementing these mitigations, the Port Authority is expected to enhance the reliability of port services and protect critical information.

Abstract

This research analyzes user sentiment towards three major online transportation applications in Indonesia—Gojek, Grab, and Maxim using the \SVM algorithm. The analysis results indicate that Maxim has the highest positive sentiment rate (42.45%) compared to Grab (32.83%) and Gojek (20.21%). Maxim's advantages lie in its competitive pricing and driver professionalism. However, Gojek recorded the best performance in sentiment classification with an accuracy of 94%, followed by Maxim (90%) and Grab (87%). The evaluation based on five main variables (general sentiment, drivers, services, applications, and pricing/costs) reveals the strengths of each application in different categories. Maxim excels in general sentiment and driver satisfaction, Grab dominates in pricing/cost, and Gojek stands out in the application category. Wordcloud visualization reveals frequently mentioned words such as "driver," "application," and "order," reflecting users' primary concerns and experiences. This research provides valuable insights for online transportation service providers to improve service quality, although it has limitations in exploring external factors such as user demographics and marketing strategies, as well as relying on a single algorithm without comparison. The choice of the SVM algorithm is based on its ability to handle well-structured data and provide high accuracy in classification. SVM is effective in finding the optimal hyperplane that clearly separates data classes, making it suitable for sentiment analysis involving multiple variables.

Abstract

Music concerts are highly anticipated entertainment events, but they are often subject to fraud and the use of bots in online ticket purchases, to the detriment of fans and organisers. Fans may lose confidence in the ticket system and reduce interest in the event. For organizers, it can reduce the event's reputation and finances. This research aims to analyse public sentiment regarding this issue by comparing three classification algorithms: Support Vector Machine (SVM), Naïve Bayes, and Logistic Regression. Data taken from Twitter which contains comments related to fraud and bots. The methods used include data crawling, preprocessing, sentiment labelling, and model evaluation. Preprocessing includes data cleaning, case folding, tokenising, stopwords, and stemming. Sentiment labelling is done manually or by human annotators. The results showed that SVM had the best accuracy of 91.27%, followed by Logistic Regression (90.03%) and Naïve Bayes (77.70%). Applying SMOTE to overcome class imbalance and improve the performance of negative sentiment models. This research emphasizes the importance of choosing the right algorithm and using SMOTE to improve the accuracy of sentiment analysis regarding fraud and bots in concert ticket purchases. The research results can be applied to improve bot usage detection systems and provide insight for organizers.
