Abstract

Muscle fatigue can cause problems or musical symptoms. The problem of musculoskeletal can be affected by such factors as energy, posture, action over and over - again, and longer working hours, with a 20% delay production percentage. It aims to analyze the body posture and mental workload on the production operator. The study's sample removal was made of 15 production operators at the XYZ corporation. The purpose of the study is, to know the impact of body posture, evaluate the risk factors of less-ergonomic working posture, and know the category of mental workload experienced by production operators at the XYZ pt. The data analysis techniques used in this study are Reba and MCH analysis. Research results by using the Reba method score 7 which means moderate risk work if carried on a long period, and changes need to be made immediately. On MCH methods obtained underload job classifications on purging and refining activities, installment of the plate, end of the plate, final fitting, casting, finishing, shipping, release of the product, PC strand cutting, and removal of the product. Whereas an optimum classification load on the scrounging activities section. Overload classification is the installation, spiral, and PC strand, and early 20% stress.

Abstract

The IT Helpdesk Ticketing System is an application developed for managing IT technical complaints at Siti Khadijah Islamic Hospital, Palembang. The hospital faces issues due to the absence of a system to record and track complaints from various units to the IT division in an organized manner. To address this, the IT Helpdesk Ticketing System web application was created to facilitate reporting IT problems and assist the IT division in monitoring and addressing reports. This application is deployed on Alibaba Cloud ECS (Elastic Compute Service), chosen for its flexible virtual server performance. The study will analyze Alibaba Cloud ECS’s effectiveness in supporting the IT Helpdesk application. Blackbox testing results indicate that the application meets all specified functional requirements, with features performing as expected and no functional errors. Apache JMeter testing on Alibaba Cloud ECS showed an average throughput of 1.6 Mbps, a sample response time of 25,991.5 ms, and latency of 74,576 ms. Average utilization results are CPU Utilization at 96.97%, Memory at 87.11%, disk read at 7.86 MB/s, and write at 3.83 MB/s. The study employs the NDLC (Network Development Life Cycle) and web engineering methods.

Abstract

In today's digital era, the need for flexible and reliable IT infrastructure is increasing, especially in the education and business sectors. This research aims to develop a prototype of VPS (Virtual Private Server) and web hosting services as a research laboratory as well as IT business services at Bina Darma University. This service is designed not only to support student research, but also as an IT business model that offers hosting solutions that can be customized according to customer needs. The main objective of this research is to create a digital infrastructure solution that allows students to learn and practice in server management and hosting directly, while developing a market-ready IT hosting business service. This prototype is expected to provide a stable and secure research environment, as well as a potential IT service business model. This research utilizes an action research methodology, which involves a cycle of planning, development, performance testing, and evaluation. Testing includes performance, security, and operational cost analysis, as well as case studies of VPS service implementation in academic and business environments. Evaluation was conducted based on feedback from service users. The results of the research are expected to have a significant impact on the development of IT hosting businesses in academia and industry, as well as improving students' practical skills in digital infrastructure management.

Abstract

Abstract

Bukit Raya District faces challenges in monitoring activities across five scattered sub-districts, as well as employees frequently being absent from the office during working hours. To address this issue, the installation of a CCTV system is crucial for monitoring employee performance and office activities. However, remote access to CCTV data is not yet available. This study aims to implement a VPN using the PPTP (Point to Point Tunneling Protocol) method to allow CCTV monitoring data in sub-district offices to be securely and stably accessed from the district office. PPTP was chosen due to its cross-platform support and ease of configuration and maintenance. The implementation was carried out in two sub-districts, Tangkerang Selatan and Simpang Tiga. The results indicate that the PPTP VPN successfully connected the district office to these sub-districts, enabling secure remote access to CCTV data. Quality of Service (QoS) testing demonstrated network performance improvements in terms of throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter. Therefore, this system effectively enhances operational efficiency and security in Bukit Raya District.

Abstract

The rapid development of the times has made the world of education face very tough challenges. Very tight competition makes every college must pay more attention and improve the quality of education including the quality of lecturers as the party that produces or provides educational services to students. Lecturers who have good performance can also increase students' enthusiasm for learning and improve the quality of their learning outcomes. For this reason, predicting student satisfaction with lecturer performance is very important for development. This research was conducted with data mining techniques using the C4.5 algorithm with the aim of knowing the accuracy level of the C4.5 algorithm and in order to help universities to find out student satisfaction with lecturers so that they can continue to improve the quality of academic services received by their students. The C4.5 algorithm is one of the data mining classification methods whose results are in the form of decision tree patterns/models and decision rules. This research produces accuracy results of 95.26%, class recall of 98.09%, and class precision of 96.86%. These results show high accuracy because the rules or rules produced are close to 100% and the C4.5 algorithm can predict data correctly and close to the actual value.

Abstract

Digital technology is now increasingly developing in the sales sector, facilitating various activities, including buying and selling transactions. One important technology is the dashboard, which is used by buyers to place orders and by sellers to manage transactions and products. Telkom University Surabaya has developed an online shopping platform, TUS Mart, to market hydroponic and aquaponic products that are ready for harvest. In addition to functioning as a sales tool, TUS Mart also needs a dashboard to monitor and manage product stocks more efficiently. This dashboard development research involves several stages, such as understanding user needs through interviews and System Usability Scale (SUS), defining problems, generating solution ideas, and developing prototypes. Testing the prototype with SUS showed an average score of 53.125, indicating marginal performance with an “OK” rating. The findings highlight the need for improvements to the dashboard design to increase user satisfaction. This research also emphasizes the importance of the Design Thinking approach in creating design solutions centered on user needs and improving user experience in online sales systems.
