Abstract

The objectives of research were to find out: 1) the relationship between the attitude of tolerance with patriotism students. 2) The relationship between understanding of national movement history with patriotism students. 3) The relationship between the attitude of tolerance and understanding of national movement history with patriotism students. The population of research was all of the XI grades of SMA Islam 1 Surakarta of academic year 2016/2017, consisting of 68 students. The sample used is of 40 students. The sample was taken using random sampling technique. The technique of collecting data used were questionnaire. The technique of analyzing data used was a multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, multiple correlation analysis (F-test), R2, and relative and effective contribution. The conclusion of research were as: 1) there was a positive relationship between the attitude of tolerance with patriotism students. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression analysis (t-test) the showing that tstatistic > ttable, that is 3,197 > 1,687 and the significance value of 0,03 < 0,05. 2) There was a positive relationship between understanding of national movement history with patriotism. It could be seen from the multiple linear regression analysis (t-test) the showing that tstatistic > ttable, that is 2,653 > 1,687 and the significance value of 0,012 < 0,05. 3) There was a positive relationship between the attitude of tolerance and understanding of national movement history with patriotism students. It could be seen from the multiple correlation analysis (F-test) the showing that Fstatistic > Ftable, that is 15,200 > 3,270 and the significance value < 0,05, of 0,000.

Abstract

The purpose of this research were to find out : (1) The management of magersari land of Yogyakarta Palace on the period 1984 ? 2013, (2) The impact of the full implementation of Basic Agrarian Law 1960 on Special Region of Yogyakarta on the management of magersari land of Yogyakarta Palace, and (3) The relevance of management of magersari land of Yogyakarta on the period 1984 ? 2013 in the enrichment of local history course material.This research used historical method. There is four stage in process of historical research; heuristics, criticsm, interpretation, and historiography. Technique of analyzing the data used historical analysis, give priority to criticsm sharpness and data interpretation. The source of the research used primary resource and secondary resource.The results of this research are : (1) The management of magersari land of Yogyakarta Palace on the period 1984 ? 2013 is done by several parties, they includes royal servants, common people (non royal servant), and legal entity or institution equpped with serat kekancingan issued by Tepas Panitikismo, (2) The full implementation of Basic Agrarian Law 1960 on Special Region of Yogyakarta is not significantly affected on the management of magersari land of Yogyakarta Palace, because the status of magersari land is categorized as sultan ground which is under the autonom authority of Yogyakarta Palace. The magersari land is managed with custom rule of palace and it?s optionally registered on agrarian office. Magersari concept in the past was a traditional housing and settlement around the palace. In the present, the right to occupy of sultan ground is known as magersari (3) The relevance of the management of magersari land of Yogyakarta Palace on the period 1984 ? 2013 in the enrichment of local history course material can be seen as the facility to extend the knowledge about historiography of local history.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) Understanding of history teachers and students about the values of local wisdom gotong royong in MAN 1 Surakarta; (2) Planning, implementation, constraint, and evaluation done in implementing the values of local wisdom of gotong royong in learning history of class XI IPA 2 in MAN 1 Surakarta academic year 2016/2017.This study used descriptive qualitative method. Source of data comes from informants, events and places, as well as documents. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. Validity test is done by using triangulation data and triangulation method. Data analysis techniques using interactive analysis techniques consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The results of the research show that (1) the understanding of the history teacher about the values of local wisdom gotong royong has understood the understanding of gotong royong in general, but in its application the teacher can not create the maximum learning history. While the students' understanding of the values of local wisdom gotong royong only understand the understanding of mutual cooperation in general, lack understanding of the essence of mutual cooperation; (2) Planning the implementation of the values of local wisdom gotong royong in learning history has been listed in the RPP and implemented through learning activities in the classroom and follow through daily life both in the school environment and in the dormitory environment; (3) Obstacles encountered include: (a) Less historical learning hours, (b) Student interest in history lesson, (c) When many student learning leave the lesson because there are school activities that need to be resolved, (d) Egos of students who are clever not willing to merge with students who are less intelligent; (4) Evaluation is done through the assessment of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) The effectiveness difference of the self-directed learning use digital module and printed module on the students' learning achievement of history. 2) The effectiveness difference of the self-directed learning use digital module and printed module on the learning achievement students of history who have a high read interest. 3) The effectiveness difference of the self-directed learning use digital module and printed module on the learning achievement students of history who have a low read interest. 4) The interaction effect between the use of the self-directed learning and interest in read on the learning achievement of history.This research used experimental methods. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta 2017/2018 school year with 2 sample that is class XI IPS 1 consisted of 23 students and XI IPS 2 consisted of 25 students drawn by cluster random sampling technique. Techniques of collecting data using questionnaires and test methods that have been tested with validity and reliability testing. Data was analyzed by two-way analysis of variance with 2x2 factorial design.Based on the result of research it appear that: (1) There is a significant effectiveness difference between use the self-directed learning use digital module and printed module to students' learning achievement history (probability value < significance level = 0,001<0.05), (2) There is a significant effectiveness  difference between use the self-directed learning use digital module and printed module on the learning achievement of students of history who have a high read interest (probability value < significance level = 0,037<0.05), (3) There is not significant effectiveness  difference between use the self-directed learning use digital module and printed module on the learning achievement of students of history who have a low read interest (probability value < significance level = 0,182>0.05), and (4) There is no interaction effect between the use of the self-directed learning and interest in read on the learning achievement of history. (probability value < significance level = 0,629>0.05).

Abstract

The objective of research was to find out: (1) the condition of education in Japan before Second World War, (2) the condition of education in Japan post-Second World War, and (3) the Relevance of education development in Japan post-Second World War to Historical learning in Senior High School based on the curriculum of 2013. The method employed in this research was historical one. Historical method was the process of examining and analyzing critically the recording and relics of the past. The preliminary stage conducted in historical research process was data collection or heuristic one. The data of research collected included primary and secondary data relevant to Education in Japan Post-Second World War. The data obtained was then analyzed. Data analysis started with verification or critique, interpretation and then historiography explanation.  Considering the result of research, the following conclusions could be drawn. (1) Japan Meiji Restoration brought about considerable change in Japan people? life particularly in education. Public elementary education started to be given priority, a number of universities and middle education institution and college was established. (2) Education System in Japan before Second World War included Elementary School in 6-year age constituting compulsory education, junior high education for 5 years, senior high education for 3 years, and university education for 3 years. (3) Japan Education system post-Second World War basically involved elementary school (six years), junior high school (three years), senior high school (three years), and university (four years). Education was compulsory in nature only for nine years, six in elementary and three in junior high schools. (4) Education policy and development in Japan was related to the material of Indonesian heroism revival and nationality during Japan occupation and colonialism age particularly the effect of education field on Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) To determine the relationship perception of participation in scout extracurricular activities with students? nationalism class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. 2) To determine the relationship of historical value?s comprehension with students? nationalism class X IPS SMAN 6 Surakarta. 3) To determine the relationship perception of participation in scout extracurricular activities and historical value?s comprehension with students? nationalism class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta.This research is descriptive quantitative research by drawing conclusions through statistical analysis. The population in this study were all students of class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. Samples taken as many as 83 by using simple random sampling technique. Necessary data obtained through a questionnaire. The questionnaire previously tested and tested for validity and reliability test. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F, R2 test and the relative contribution and effective contribution.The conclusion of this study were: 1) There is a significant and positive relationship in perception of participation in scout extracurricular activities with students? nationalism class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. This is based on multiple linear regression analysis (t test) note that tcount> ttable, 7.253> 1.664 and significance value 0.000<0.005 with the relative contribution of 77.71% and effective contribution 41.11%. 2) There is a significant and positive in historical value?s comprehension with students? nationalism class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. This is based on multiple linear regression analysis (t test) note that tcount> ttable, 3.055> 1.664 and significance value 0.003<0.005 with the relative contribution of 15.18% and the effective contribution of 8.03%. 3) There is a positive and significant in perception of participation in scout extracurricular activities and historical value?s comprehension along with students? nationalism class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. This is based on linear regression analysis (F test) known that F count> F table, is 44.973>3.960 and significance value 0.000<0.05. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.529 indicates that the magnitude of the relationship perception of participation in scout extracurricular activities and historical value?s comprehension with students? nationalism class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016 was 52.9%, while the rest influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The objectives of the research are: (1) to determine the relationship between the understanding of national history of Indonesia with the attitude of country defense;(2) to determine the relationship between theheroism values with theattitude of country defense; (3) to determine the relationship between the understanding of national history of Indonesia and heroism values with the attitude of country defense.This research is quantitative descriptive research by drawing conclusions through statistical analysis. The population in this study was all students of class XII IPASMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyar in the academic year of 2016/2017. 134 studentswere taken as the sample by using simple random sampling technique. The data were obtained through a test and questionnaires. The questionnaires were tested firstto know the validity and the reliability of the test. The data analysis technique used in this researchwas multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F, R2 test, and the relative contribution and effective contribution.The conclusions of the research were as: (1) there waspositive and significantrelationship betweenthe understanding of national history of Indonesia with the attitude of country defense. This result based on the multiple linear regression analysis (t test) noted that tcount> ttable, 2.949 >1.978 and significance value 0.004 <0.05 withrelative contribution 27.669% and effective contribution 5.09%;(2) there was positive and significant relationship between heroism values with the attitude of country defense. This result based on the multiple linear regression analysis (t test) noted that tcount>ttable, 4.686 >1.978 and significance value0.000<0.05 with the relative contribution 72.363% and the effective contribution  13.31%; (3) there was positive and significant understanding of national history of Indonesia and heroism values with the attitude of country defense. This result based on the linear regression analysis (F test) was known that Fcount > Ftable, 14.812 >3.07 and significance value0.000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.184. It indicated that the magnitude of the relationship between the understanding of national history of Indonesia and heroism values with the attitude of country defense in class XII IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Karanganyarin the academic year 2016/2017 was 18.4%, while the rest was influenced by other variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is describe the types of the Vredeburg Fort Museum?s collection which can be applied as the source of History Learning material in SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta which is implemented in history learning and knowing obstacles of  history learning in SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta.  This research is a descriptive qualitative research, which is a technique to analyze phenomena by creating descriptive data. The data source that used were place, event, informant, and document. The techniques of collecting data used in the research were observation, interview, and document analysis. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data validation techniques that used were source and method triangulation. The cata were analyzed by using interactive analysis technique which is a technique of analysis combining three components, such as data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusion.Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that (1) Historical things can be integrated in the learning process. It is because those things are related to historical events in the past. This can strengthen student?s ability in remembering Historical events, (2) the use of Museum as the source of History learning material in SMA Negeri 10 Yogyakarta had some alternatives in the implementation. If it is necessary, the teacher may invite the students to visit the museum. If it is not, the teacher still has another media to be taught to the students, (3) the implementation divided into several stages. The teacher used discussion and homework in the learning process. This is because the methods have an advantages in terms of learning time allocation, and (4) The teacher had no obstacles in choosing a learning method so far. If this happens in the future, the role of the teacher is very important.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the root of Pancasila as national ideology of Indonesia. Two research questions arised: 1) what kind of cultural root of Pancasila in the life of Indonesian people; 2) what kind of processes of Indonesian leaders in formulating Pancasila. Method used was documentary study, both primary and secondary documents. The results show that many parts of Pancasila have to be culture of Indonesian. On the other hand, reconstruction of formulating Pancasila has to be deviated by political power of interest group. Nugroho Notosusanto as the New Order historian wanted to de-Soekarno-ization through heroificated Muhammad Yamin as Pancasila discoverer.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve motivation and student learning outcomes in history object of class X IIS 3 SMAN 5 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016 through the application of cooperative learning method type Learning Together model with World Civilization Site media in history subject. This research is classroom action research. The experiement was conducted in twwo cycle, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects were students of X IIS 2 SMAN 5 Surakarta which is consisting 29 student, history teacher, and the teacher and learning. Techniques of data collection is by interview, observation, questionaires, tests and document analyzing. Test validity of data using the technique of triangulation method and triangulation sourch (data). Data analysis using comparative descriptive techniques and interactive analys. Research procedure is the spiral model (Planning, Acting, Observing and Reflecting). The result showed that; (1) the application of cooperative learning method type learning together model with world civilization site media can improve student motivation in history subject of class X IIS 3 SMAN 5 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016. It can be seen from the result of the percentage of achievement indicators in the questionnaire student motivation in history subject. The student motivation in history subject of precycle is 57.30% increase to 75.95% in the first cycle and increase to 84.46.02% in the second cycle. This acquistion has exceeded the target of 80 %; (2) the application of cooperative learning method learning together model with world civilization site media can improve student learning outcomes of class X IIS 3 SMAN 5 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016. It can be seen from the mastery of cognitive test score. The completeness of student learning outcomes in precycle amount to 55.17% increase to 74.86% in the first cycle and successfully increase in the second cycle into 89.65%. This acquistion has exceeded the target of 80 %. Based on the research finding and discussion, it can be concluded that Cooperative Learning method with the type of Learning Together by using World Civilization Site Media can increase the motivation and learning outcomes of students of X IIS 3 of SMAN 5 Surakarta.
