Abstract

Phraseological units can be classified according to their various signs from the point of view of modern linguistics. Phraseological units are divided into categories according to their etymological, structural-semantic, and motivational meaning, according to which word group they are expressed in linguistic works. The fund of Uzbek phraseology is filled with national and adopted, terminological and non-terminological units as phraseology in English.

Abstract

There is an opportunity to extract cellulose from the wastes of medicinal and agricultural plants and use them as a good raw material for making paper, which is important for non-forestry countries. Within this study, the kinetics of the process of cellulose extraction from amaranth stem was studied, and the properties of the obtained cellulose were studied. Based on the conducted experiments, a technological mode of cellulose extraction from amaranth stems is proposed.

Abstract

By the 19th century, especially by the middle of this century, a new stage in the history of football began after the sports method was recognized as the most appropriate method of physical education, and sports games became an effective means of physical development. The article highlights the history of the emergence and development of football, as well as the issues of popularization and uniqueness of football games. Also It can be assumed that in the times of Western Europe, such games were developed both independently and by learning some elements from each other in the middle of this century.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to study the factors that affect for poor attendance of Advance Level students in 1AB schools. The study was focused to get an insight idea on school related factors for students’ poor attendance and family related factors that caused for school absenteeism. Concurrent mix methodology was followed and the data was collected by survey questionnaires and by interviews. The questionnaires were given both students and parents who selected randomly for the samples. The survey samples were consisted of 92 Advance Level students and 46 of their parents. 8 Advance Level class teachers were selected purposively for interviews. Survey data was analyzed by descriptive statistical methods using tables, graphs and percentages and interview data was analyzed by thematic analysis. The study divulged the major school related factors that caused for school absenteeism as; unsuitable teaching methods, lack of school facilities and lack of enthusiasm for schooling. Other than that heavy work load, writing lesson notes, and non-conduct of practical tests were also caused in minor level. And also, parents’ income, lack of parents’ attention, helping to parents, failure to accept parental advices and educational level of parents were found out as major family related factors that caused for absenteeism. Look after younger siblings and broken families were also found out as the factors that caused for absenteeism in minor level.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the measures taken in Uzbekistan in the last 3 years to ensure gender equality. Gender policy is considered through the prism of building a developed and just society and positive changes in the socio-political life of the country are noted. New laws in Uzbekistan serve to ensure gender equality and are fully in line with international standards. The initiatives of the head of state also play an important role in achieving this goal.
