Abstract

This paper examined the challenges facing Post-Basic Education and Career Development (PBECD) in Nigeria. Secondary data were used in the paper. The paper identified inadequate funding, inadequate infrastructural facilities, inadequate professional teachers, corruption, insecurity problems, poor supervision, poor quality assurance, weak school administrators, prevalence of examination malpractice, over-population, poor capacity building, poor implementation of Post-Basic Education and Career Development (PBECD) policies and ineffective guidance and counselling programme as challenges facing Post-Basic Education and Career Development (PBECD) in Nigeria. The paper recommended that government should increase the funding of Post-Basic Education and Career Development (PBECD) in Nigeria.

Abstract

This article talks about the processes that complicate the activity of a modern leader, including the economic reforms implemented in Uzbekistan during the years of independence, the restoration of national values, the strengthening of political demands placed on leaders, the development of civil society institutions in the country, the sharp increase in freedom of speech and transparency in Uzbekistan, the coronavirus pandemic, etc. It has been scientifically analyzed that it served as a factor complicating the leader's activity.

Abstract

In recent years, much attention has been paid to the development of domestic tourism, as this industry has a positive impact on the national and regional economy. The Republic of Tatarstan has not only rich natural, cultural and historical resources, which primarily attract tourists, but also a developed transport and tourist infrastructure. However, some indicators do not have a greater impact on the development of the industry. This article discusses the factors that influence the added value that is created directly in tourism. For analysis, 21 indicators were selected and, using correlation-regression analysis, factors were identified that have a significant impact on the development of the tourism industry in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Abstract

This paper examined the challenges militating against effective administration of Early Children Care and Development Education (ECCDE) centres in Nigeria. Content analysis was adopted for the paper. Content analysis was adopted for the paper. Both secondary and primary data were sourced from national and international dailies, published, unpublished information resources to support points raised. The paper revealed that poor funding, shortage of professional care-giver, inadequate infrastructural facilities, corruption, insecurity, shortage of instructional materials, political instability, lack of current data, shortage of national curriculum and unstable educational policies are the challenges militating against effective administration of Early Children Care and Development Education (ECCDE) centres in Nigeria. It was recommended that the federal government should increase the percentage of funds allocated to the administration of early child education programme in the counterpart funding scheme. The state and local government should also increase the funding of the Early Children Care and Development Education (ECCDE) programme in Nigeria.
