Abstract

The article deals with the issues based on contemporary tendencies in teaching intercultural communication. As we know, a future specialist in intercultural communication should be thoroughly prepared to participate in professional business international cooperation and be able to take into accounting the specific ideas and preferences existing in the cultures of foreign business partners in the ways of forming thoughts. In this regard, in professionally oriented teaching of foreign language communication of students of language faculties, special attention should be paid to the development of their ability to choose the correct form to formulate their ideas, taking into account the cultural identity of the native speaker. This is another of the current trends in teaching intercultural communication in the system of higher language education.

Abstract

This article deals with the basic role and successful implementation of learner-centered approach in English classes to develop pupils’ communicative competence, as well as, it also focuses the importance of the approach for interactive and effective learning that leads pupils’ more meaningful, interesting and democratic way of acquiring the English language in context of academic lyceum in Jizzakh region, Uzbekistan. Most of the time pupils work individually on tasks and assignments, and group work or collaborative learning is stimulated. Thus, it will improve the ability of pupils to learn the content and they have to prepare variously for the class in order to enhance effective communicative competence.

Abstract

The article deals with the issues based on teaching reading in a foreign language, considering some of the ways to develop reading skills. Reading is one of the receptive skills: the reader approaches the interpretation of texts with his source of knowledge and experience, which explains the unequal interpretation of the meaning of the same text by different readers. In the course of teaching to read, students try to exchange their thoughts about what they have read, learn the ways of asking questions. The teacher, in turn, acts as a kind of moderator between the students and the text.

Abstract

The goal of teaching writing in foreign language is to form students' communicative competence, which includes knowledge of written signs, spelling of words, vocabulary and grammar, composition of written texts, the ability to create various types of written messages, mastery of the content and form of written speech, ways to express thoughts in writing. Writing acts as a means of forming and developing many skills and abilities. Thanks to exercises in writing, the student always consciously operates with his skills and abilities. He learns to understand how he constructs his speech. As well as, it develops the speech to a higher level. In this article the author defines the essence of writing and peculiarities of teaching it in different age groups.

Abstract

Corpus technologies are one of the Internet-based technologies, which help to develop students' communicative competence in foreign language interaction. On the basis of the analysis of the methodological literature on the use of corpus technologies in teaching foreign language, didactic and methodological functions such as multilingualism, conceptuality and authenticity of corpus technologies are distinguished. These functions reveal and ground a number of psychological and pedagogical conditions to develop and enhance the methods of teaching students written and oral communication on the basis of the corpus technologies.

Abstract

The main goal of learning a foreign language is communicative competence. Communication, communication lies at the basis of all human activity, is an incentive for action, the basis of our judgments and ideas about the world, contributes to the effective interaction of people. As well as, in the context of teaching foreign languages, we should talk about the dialogue of cultures and intercultural communication, where the communication process becomes more complicated, since the participants may have different views of the world, which leads to a misunderstanding of information.
