Abstract

This service scientific article entitled "The Real Contribution of UINSI KKN Students in Religious Programs in Teritip Subdistrict" is a form of service carried out by 7 students from different faculties, namely the Sharia Faculty, Tarbiah and Teacher Training Faculty, Islamic Economics and Business Faculty and Ushuluddin Faculty Adab and Da'wah. This service activity emphasizes religious programs for 42 days, starting from July 13 to August 23 2023. In this scientific journal article, UINSI KKN uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The data collection process involves direct field observation and describing KKN activities or programs that have been implemented in Teritip Village.

Abstract

The making of traditional Dayak clothing sequined handicrafts has become an important source of income for UMKM women in Kutai Lama Village. This study aims to analyze the potential of traditional Dayak clothing embroidering handicrafts as a source of opinion in Kutai Lama Village, as well as to evaluate the factors that influence the sustainability and development of this industry. The research methods used are observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation. The sample of this research is UMKM mothers in Kutai Lama Village. The data obtained was analyzed using a qualitative approach. The results of this study showed that the Dayak traditional clothing sequined handicrafts had great potential as a source of income for UMKM women. earn significant additional income, which helps improve their economic well-being. However, the sustainability and development of this industry is influenced by factors such as raw materials, artisan skills.

Abstract

In the context of Muslim society, the concept of ukhuwah Islamiyah or Islamic brotherhood has a very important role in building close relationships between fellow Muslims. Togetherness and cooperation are the key elements of this ukhuwah Islamiyah. The two forms of expression of this collaboration are Yasinan, which is often a deep religious moment, and Gotong Royong, which reflects a spirit of solidarity in everyday life. This article will explore the scope of togetherness in Islam with a focus on Yasinan and Gotong Royong, exploring how both of them become strong pillars in strengthening ukhuwah Islamiyah.

Abstract

This article aims to measure village progress using the village profile as an indicator of local development. Village development is an effort or series of efforts carried out consciously by a village for planned growth and change towards modernity. The essence of development is to build society as a whole, in order to achieve people's welfare. Therefore an effective tool is needed to measure their progress. A village profile is a tool used to comprehensively describe the characteristics and conditions of a village. This article will discuss how village profiles can be used as indicators of local development by identifying various key factors that reflect economic, social and environmental development in villages.In this article, we will discuss data collection for village profiles, including information about education, health, facilities and infrastructure, livelihoods of village residents, as well as environmental aspects such as environmental sustainability, sustainability of natural resources and human resources. In addition, we will also discuss how this data can be analyzed and used to measure village progress over time. By using village profiles as indicators of local development, we can ensure that available resources are used efficiently to improve the quality of life of village residents and encourage sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Death is an inevitable event in the lives of all creatures, including humans. Regardless of when and how death occurs, the responsibility for handling a deceased individual becomes crucial for those who are still alive. Religion, especially Islam, provides comprehensive guidelines on how to deal with the deceased. However, in everyday life, many Muslims are not well-versed in the proper procedures for conducting funerals in accordance with their religious teachings.This article outlines the importance of understanding the procedures for managing funerals, considering aspects such as religious and cultural significance, paying final respects, complying with legal and administrative requirements, ensuring hygiene and health considerations, providing psychological support, preparing in advance, and maintaining efficiency and organization. Funeral management can be categorized as a collective duty known as "Fardhu Kifayah," where the responsibility lies collectively with the community, and if performed by some individuals, it absolves others from the obligation. Therefore, this article aims to provide a systematic and comprehensive practical guide on funeral management, with a focus on the understanding of the residents of Tanjung Batu village regarding the procedures for washing and shrouding the deceased. Despite the village having designated personnel for funeral management, the role of the family remains paramount. The article also notes that while some village residents have a basic understanding of the correct procedures, many forget the sequence, highlighting the need for a proposed program to provide the necessary training in funeral management.
