Abstract

Da'wah and education have an important role in forming a quality society in terms of intelligence and spirituality. In an educational process there are efforts to change the behavior of students for the better, while da'wah has the aim of inviting humans to get happiness in the world and the hereafter. In this case there is a relationship between education and da'wah. This research includes a type of literature study research by looking for relevant theoretical references according to the case or problem found. With this article hopefully it can provide a little view of the relationship and importance of da'wah and education in everyday life, especially Islamic education.

Abstract

Da'wah is an attempt to spread religious teachings, moral values, and religious principles to individuals or communities. While the social aspect includes various aspects of social life, such as culture, politics, economics, and interactions between individuals. In this context, social da'wah refers to efforts to spread religious teachings with a focus on social improvement, community welfare, and meeting social needs. This can include providing assistance to the needy, counseling on religious values in a social context, and various other efforts aimed at improving the social conditions of the community. Da'wah and social aspects are often interrelated, as the delivery of religious messages can also have a positive impact on society. Many religious organizations and charities run social da'wah programs to achieve this goal. However, keep in mind that the implementation of da'wah and social can vary depending on the cultural, religious, and value context that exists in a particular society. Social da'wah is an approach in da'wah that focuses on improving society and social welfare. It involves conveying religious messages as well as taking concrete actions to help people and society. Social da'wah can be carried out through various means, such as education, welfare programs, humanitarian assistance, and efforts to combat social injustice. The goal is to create a better society and get closer to religious values while providing concrete benefits for others.

Abstract

This research explores the phenomenon of King of the King, an organization that claims Mister Dony Pedro as the King of all kings in the world. The presence of this fictional kingdom has created a sensation in Indonesia, especially after controversial statements from its leader, Juanda, who mentioned that Mister Dony Pedro will appoint all presidents and kings worldwide. This phenomenon highlights the need for research to prevent Indonesian society from falling into uncertain promises and to avoid the influence of misguided ideas. This research uses a qualitative literature review method by exploring information from the opinions of various figures. The research findings highlight several reasons for the emergence of the King of the King phenomenon, including the loss of role models in society, the response to the government's failure to meet expectations, and ongoing social problems within the community. The crisis of role models in society is one of the main causes, where King of the King can take advantage of the confusion and bewilderment of the people to attract their attention. In addition, the community's response to dissatisfaction with the government also serves as a trigger, where this phenomenon is seen as an alternative or escape from their disappointment. Long-standing social problems in the community also contribute to the conditions that support the emergence of this phenomenon.   Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi fenomena King of the King, sebuah organisasi yang mengklaim Mister Dony Pedro sebagai Raja Diraja dari seluruh raja di dunia. Kehadiran kerajaan fiktif ini telah menciptakan kehebohan di Indonesia, terutama setelah pernyataan kontroversial dari petingginya, Juanda, yang menyebutkan bahwa Mister Dony Pedro akan melantik semua presiden dan raja di seluruh dunia. Fenomena ini mendorong perlunya penelitian untuk mencegah masyarakat Indonesia terjebak dalam janji-janji yang tidak pasti dan untuk menghindari aliran sesat dengan ide-ide yang tidak masuk akal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualiatatif kajian pustaka dengan menggali informasi dari pendapat tokoh-tokoh. Hasil penelitian menyoroti beberapa alasan munculnya fenomena King of the King, termasuk kehilangan panutan di masyarakat, respons terhadap minimnya pemenuhan harapan dari pemerintah, dan masalah sosial yang berkepanjangan di tengah masyarakat. Krisis panutan di masyarakat menjadi salah satu penyebab utama, di mana King of the King dapat memanfaatkan kebuntuan dan kebingungan warga untuk menarik perhatian mereka. Selain itu, respons masyarakat terhadap ketidakpuasan terhadap pemerintah juga menjadi pemicu, di mana fenomena ini dianggap sebagai alternatif atau pelarian dari kekecewaan mereka. Problem sosial yang berlangsung cukup lama di masyarakat juga turut memperkuat kondisi yang mendukung munculnya fenomena ini.

Abstract

One of the social problems that exist in society is the existence of commercial sex workers. This phenomenon highlights the conflict between religious values and social realities that develop in modern society. Da'wah itself has an important role in addressing and guiding individuals who engage in this deviant behavior. Therefore, efforts are made to integrate the values of da'wah in an inclusive approach, not only as a process of enforcing moral rules, but also as a means to understand, embrace, and empower individuals involved in the practice. Therefore, a more holistic and sustainable da'wah approach is needed in dealing with deviant behavior. The aim is to create an open discussion space, provide appropriate assistance, and provide a broader and directed view for the individuals involved, in line with the principles of religious teachings carried out in da'wah.   Salah satu masalah sosial yang ada di masyarakat adalah adanya pekerja seks komersial. Fenomena ini menyoroti konflik antara nilai-nilai agama dengan realitas sosial yang berkembang dalam masyarakat modern. Dakwah sendiri memiliki peran penting dalam mengatasi dan membimbing individu yang terlibat dalam perilaku menyimpang ini. Maka dari itu, dilakukan upaya untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai dakwah dalam pendekatan yang inklusif, bukan hanya sebagai proses penegakan aturan moral, tetapi juga sebagai sarana untuk memahami, merangkul, dan memberdayakan individu yang terlibat dalam praktik tersebut. Maka dari itu, diperlukan pendekatan dakwah yang lebih holistik dan berkelanjutan dalam menghadapi perilaku menyimpang. Tujuannya adalah untuk menciptakan ruang diskusi yang terbuka, memberikan bantuan yang tepat, serta memberikan pandangan yang lebih luas dan terarah bagi individu yang terlibat, sejalan dengan prinsip- prinsip ajaran agama yang diusung dalam dakwah.

Abstract

This study aims to help resolve the communication gap between fathers and children who are because fathers remarry without their children's permission. The reason for marrying is because the first wife died, and in order for the mother's role to be replaced, the father remarried. But with his marriage, it created a communication gap in the family. The research method used is a qualitative discriptive method, which is to discuss facts in the field to reveal a problem. The object of research is a family in Bohar Village, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. The result of this study is a change in communication between father and son. The process of changing communication results from guidance and counseling provided to father and son. Having a family requires communication in everything, especially in making a decision. If this is not done, the relationship in the family will occur gaps, as in one of the families in Bohar Village, Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. Fathers who choose to raise again without the knowledge and permission of their children make family relationships experience gaps. Creating a harmonious family and reducing communication gaps restores the role in the family. The return of roles in the family is carried out by providing counseling to clients. So the implication of this study is to reduce the communication gap between father and son and the realization of a harmonious family. The impact caused by this event is a family that is not harmonious so it needs assistance again through family counseling.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membantu menyelesaikan kesenjangan komunikasi antara ayah dan anak yang di kerenakan ayah menikah lagi tanpa seizin anaknya. Alasan menikah karena istri yang pertama meninggal, dan agar peran ibu tergantikan maka ayah menikah lagi. Namun dengan pernikahannya tersebut membuat kesenjangan komunikasi dalam keluarga. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif diskriptif yakni mendiskipsikan fakta yang ada di lapangan untuk mengungkap suatu masalah. Adapun yang menjadi objek penelitian adalah keluarga yang ada di Desa Bohar Kecamatan Taman Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Hasil dari penelitian ini adanya perubahan komunikasi antara ayah dan anak. Proses perubahan komunikasi hasil dari bimbingan dan konseling yang di berikan kepada ayah dan anak. menjalin keluarga sangat di perlukan komunikasi dalam segala hal, terutama dalam mengambil sebuah keputusan. Jika hal ini tidak dilakukan maka hubungan dalam keluarga akan terjadi kesenjangan, sebagaimana yang ada di dalam salah satu keluarga yang ada di Desa Bohar Kecamatan Taman Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Ayah yang memilih menikan lagi tanpa sepengetahuan dan seizin anaknya menjadikan hubungan keluarga mengalami kesenjangan. Menciptakan keluarga yang harmonis dan mengurangi kesenjangan komunikasi maka mengembalikan peranan dalam keluarga. Pengembalian peranan dalam keluarga dilakukan dengan cara memberikan konseling kepada klien. Sehingga implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah mengurangi kesenjangan komunikasi antara ayah dan anak dan terwujudnya keluarga yang harmoni. Dampak yang di timbulkan dari sebuah peristiwa ini adalah keluarga yang tidak harmonis sehingga perlu pendampingan Kembali melalui konseling keluarga

Abstract

Radicalism is an important problem for Indonesian Muslims today. The involvement of various leading sectors in dealing with the problem of radicalism (deradicalization) is highly expected. The Indonesian government through the National Counterterrorism Agency (BNPT) is trying to take strategic steps in carrying out the deradicalization movement, one of which is by collaborating with the Islamic organization Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). Nahdlatul Ulama as a social organization with moderate views, as well as having a strong and broad organizational network that can reach the grassroots is expected to be very strategic in countering the spread of radical and extremist views in Indonesia. The deradicalization concept applied by Nahdlatul Ulama is carried out in a persuasive way by prioritizing a humanist approach in building dialogue within the internal circles of Islamic society. For example, through the proselytizing movement of NU clerics and kiai, through the pesantren network, through scientific studies such as bahtsul masail, NU online da'wah media, and by fortifying Aswaja-based NU educational institutions (Ahlussunah wal Jamaah).

Abstract

This study provides an overview of economic empowerment for people with disabilities in the creative industry of Tiara Handycraft Surabaya. The focus of empowerment is intended as a means of releasing the disabled from poverty. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study indicate (1) The diffables are interested in joining this Tiara Handicraft due to several internal and external factors, especially from outside, namely poverty (2) The strategy used by the Handycraft Tiara is a work system that prioritizes family and working hours that are not so heavy for people with disabilities.

Abstract

Rivers are living lands that play a very important role in the lives of community members. Not only is it a source of water for daily use and agriculture, but it is also a source of recreation that supports the local village economy. This article discusses river revitalization efforts as a way to improve the quality of the Moro River, the river will be discussed on a scale to make it better than before. In the village of Lebak Jabung, in Jatirejo subdistrict, Mojokerto district, the Moro river is located. This river has the potential for an excellent tourist destination and should be protected. However, environmental pollution and changes in land use threaten its beauty. The asset based community development approach is proposed through research on river revitalization as a strategy for improving environmental, economic and social quality. We show river tubing facilities in the text, so the research results show that river revitalization can increase the number of visitors and the village economy. The river is degraded again. which means that vitality has potential vulnerabilities. Researchers concluded that the results of the research obtained were regarding improving water quality, such as increasing water quality parameters and increasing public knowledge regarding the importance of maintaining river ecosystems

Abstract

The issue of poverty, particularly in developed cities like Surabaya, requires appropriate and sustainable solutions. The National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) of Surabaya City has introduced five main programs: Surabaya Berdaya, Surabaya Cerdas, Surabaya Peduli, Surabaya Sehat, and Surabaya Takwa. One of BAZNAS' efforts to improve the economic conditions of mustahik is through the Rombong Berkah program, which aims to empower the community by providing carts to mustahik as initial capital to start and grow their small businesses. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Rombong Berkah program in enhancing the economic well-being of mustahik and to analyze its potential in fostering the transformation of mustahik into muzzaki. This evaluation is expected to provide deeper insights into the program's contribution to community economic empowerment, as well as identifying the challenges and opportunities in its implementation

Abstract

Sumberdawesari Village, Grati District, Pasuruan Regency, East Java, has become a successful model for livestock farming with increased production and better quality, also providing a positive impact on the local economy, so that breeders have utilized waste processing technology to reduce negative impacts on the environment. Livestock waste in the form of livestock manure is converted into organic fertilizer which is useful for local agriculture, increasing sustainability and resource efficiency in the area. The research method used is a participatory approach that focuses on the community, and the technique for implementing community service activities uses Participatory Rural Appraisal. This technique is usually used in activities related to socio-culture and socio-economics by placing the community as subjects and researchers as insiders who are active in implementing the activities carried out. In making organic fertilizer using a simple compost method. The materials used are livestock manure such as cows, chickens, straw, dry leaves and water. The resulting organic fertilizer was then tested at Gizi Gardens, so that it could produce significant harvest levels. Overall, this activity not only improves soil fertility and plant health, but also strengthens collaboration and practical knowledge in sustainable garden management.
