Abstract

Pengelolaan sampah anorganik di Indonesia masih menjadi masalah yang terus berlanjut, terutama di daerah pedesaan seperti Dusun Krikilan. Meningkatnya volume sampah memiliki dampak lingkungan dan kesehatan yang signifikan pada masyarakat. Program Ecobrick, yang menggunakan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), menawarkan solusi efektif dalam mengatasi masalah. Program Ecobrick berfokus pada kekuatan dan sumber daya masyarakat, serta melibatkan kolaborasi antara masyarakat lokal dan pendatang. Sinergi ini telah menjadi faktor kunci keberhasilan program dalam mengurangi volume sampah, meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, dan mendorong pembangunan sosial dan ekonomi. Program Ecobrick dapat menjadi contoh bagi pengelolaan sampah berbasis masyarakat yang efektif dan berkelanjutan

Abstract

This study is aimed at studying the influence of the blessing of Friday tradition, organized by the Al-Hilas Foundation in Great Kebon Agung, Sukodono, Sidoarjo, and more and more social and religious consciousness about the surrounding community. This tradition includes the active participation of citizens in the form of donations of food and basic needs distributed among destitute people every Friday in the morning. This study uses qualitative methods with unstructured interviews and non-participant observation as data collection methods. The research results show that the Friday Blessing Program plays an important role in increasing social empathy, strengthening relationships among residents, and enhancing people's religious awareness. Apart from providing material assistance, this tradition also contributes to strengthening values ​​of solidarity and deepening awareness of Islamic teachings, especially in terms of sharing and compassion for others. The program is considered effective in creating a more caring and religious social environment, as well as encouraging people to actively participate in faith-based social activities.

Abstract

The Holy Quran is a sacred scripture that plays a vital role in the lives of Muslims. Surah Yasin is one of the chapters that holds exceptional significance and benefits in daily life. The tradition of reciting Surah Yasin at Pondok Pesantren Panggung Tulungagung has become an integral part of the daily lives of students and the surrounding community. This study aims to explore the impact of the Surah Yasin recitation tradition on social and religious values in the Pondok Pesantren Panggung Tulungagung environment. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data is collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation.The results of the research show that the tradition of reading Surah Yasin has a positive impact on social and religious values ​​in the Panggung Tulungagung Islamic Boarding School environment. This tradition strengthens social ties between students and the community, increases religious values, and deepens understanding of religion. Apart from that, this tradition also has a positive impact on the surrounding community, such as strengthening relationships, fostering a sense of caring, and increasing spirituality.

Abstract

Early marriage is a serious problem that continues to this day in Indonesia, especially in rural areas. This research was conducted with the aim of identifying and implementing strategies to reduce the rate of early marriage through a learning motivation program at MTs Miftahul Ulum, Kalipang Village, Grati District, Pasuruan Regency. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods, where data is obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that education about the importance of education, the negative impact of early marriage, as well as changes in students' thoughts about higher education can reduce interest in early marriage. Social and economic factors such as poverty, tradition, and low parental education also play a role in influencing the decision to marry early. Mentoring and education have proven effective in increasing students' awareness of the importance of education and delaying marriage until adulthood.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of the Jabal Noer Santri Organization (OSJN) in forming the disciplined character of congregational prayer at the Jabal Noer Islamic Boarding School, Sidoarjo. Character education, especially discipline, is a crucial element in the educational process, which has undergone various changes since Indonesia's independence until now. Descriptive qualitative research methods were used to analyze the role of OSJN, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation and documentation. Primary data was obtained through interviews with OSJN supervisors and board members as well as students, while secondary data was collected from related academic references. The findings show that OSJN is significant in increasing the discipline, responsibility and religiosity of students through an organizational structure that supports the consistent implementation of worship. OSJN functions to form student discipline in carrying out congregational prayers by arranging worship schedules and providing social control mechanisms. Developing student responsibility and leadership, as well as strengthening religiosity through structured worship routines. With effective coaching, OSJN supports the formation of better character for students, both in spiritual and social aspects. This research concludes that OSJN has an important role in forming the disciplined character of congregational prayer and requires continuous efforts to increase its effectiveness. OSJN's success in developing the character of students reflects the importance of organizational structure and the integrity of religious activities in character education in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study examines the impact and effectiveness of digital da'wah on young audiences using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Data was collected from 300 respondents aged 18–30 who actively engage with religious content on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. The survey results show that 72% of respondents access digital da'wah more than three times a week, with 85% preferring short and visually engaging content. Additionally, 78% favor topics related to daily life, such as social media, careers, and interpersonal relationships. Statistical analysis reveals a significant positive correlation (r = 0.68, p < 0.01) between the frequency of digital da'wah consumption and increased religious knowledge. However, only 52% of respondents report significant behavioral changes. Furthermore, 45% feel confused by the diversity of religious interpretations in digital da'wah content. Interviews with 20 participants provide deeper insights, showing that while many feel more connected to their faith through interactive content, some find the messages lacking depth or misaligned with their understanding of Islamic teachings. In conclusion, digital da'wah effectively enhances religious knowledge, but its impact on behavioral change remains limited. This study highlights the need for engaging and contextually relevant content, along with careful curation and guidance to help audiences navigate diverse religious interpretations.

Abstract

Social media, particularly Instagram, has become an effective medium for conveying Islamic preaching messages (da’wah). This study aims to analyze the content of wasilah-themed da’wah messages delivered by K.H. Ahmad Bahauddin Nursalim (Gus Baha) and to examine their impact on the development of Islamic preaching through Instagram. The research employs a content analysis method with a cultural approach, using data collected from the Instagram accounts @kajian.gusbaha, @ulama_ndonesia, @gusbaha1menit_official, and @shorts_gusbaha. Data were gathered through non-participant observation and literature study, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings indicate that the da’wah messages are categorized into three types: wasilah through figures (individuals), wasilah through worship practices, and wasilah through supplications and dhikr. These contents have a positive influence by motivating, inspiring, and strengthening the spiritual enthusiasm of Muslim communities, especially the younger generation. This study demonstrates the strategic role of digital da’wah via Instagram in promoting accessible and engaging Islamic teachings.

Abstract

Krisis lingkungan akibat aktivitas manusia, khususnya produksi sampah berlebih dan eksploitasi alam, menjadi tantangan global yang mendesak. Islam sebagai agama yang menekankan moral dan etika kehidupan, memuat ajaran tentang pentingnya menjaga kelestarian alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan konsep dakwah dalam pelestarian lingkungan, khususnya melalui pendekatan dakwah bil-hal (dakwah melalui tindakan nyata). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka dan analisis terhadap program dakwah berbasis lingkungan seperti Eco-Masjid dan Bank Sampah Masjid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dakwah bil-hal merupakan strategi efektif dalam meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis masyarakat Muslim. Nilai-nilai Islam seperti kebersihan, keseimbangan (mizan), dan tanggung jawab sebagai khalifah di bumi dapat membentuk perilaku yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam edukasi lingkungan serta penguatan peran komunitas dan lembaga keagamaan dalam aksi nyata pelestarian lingkungan. Dengan demikian, dakwah Islam dapat menjadi solusi aplikatif dalam merespons isu-isu ekologis kontemporer.

Abstract

Di era modern, pendidikan Islam semakin diminati sebagai solusi terhadap minimnya pemahaman agama dan meningkatnya perilaku remaja yang kurang produktif. Dakwah dan pendidikan memiliki peran strategis dalam membentuk karakter individu serta membangun peradaban Islam yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai keimanan dan ketakwaan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara dakwah dan pendidikan sebagai sarana transformasi sosial, baik melalui jalur formal maupun nonformal. Melalui pendidikan yang berbasis dakwah, nilai-nilai Islam dapat ditanamkan sejak dini sehingga mampu menciptakan generasi yang berakhlak dan berilmu. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa dakwah dalam pendidikan harus terus beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman, termasuk dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital sebagai media dakwah yang lebih efektif. Dengan demikian, sinergi antara dakwah dan pendidikan menjadi kunci dalam membentuk masyarakat Islami yang harmonis dan berdaya saing.

Abstract

This article examines the role of Barisan Ansor Serbaguna (Banser) in fostering nationalism in Karangpucung District. As a semi-autonomous body under Gerakan Pemuda Ansor affiliated with Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), Banser has made significant contributions in safeguarding the integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI), promoting the values of religious moderation, and building social harmony within multicultural communities. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing data obtained through field observations and in-depth interviews. The findings reveal that Banser plays a vital role in maintaining public order, countering radical ideologies, and instilling national values in society. Despite facing internal challenges such as financial limitations and familial responsibilities, as well as external skepticism regarding its relevance, Banser continues to carry out its duties through cultural approaches and selfless public service. These findings affirm that Banser is not merely a religious-based security force but also a vital civic institution that strengthens grassroots nationalism
