Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the existence of the Islamic boarding school education system in facing the era of modernization. The main focus of this research is the Nurul Jadid Al Syarif Al Islamy Islamic Boarding School located in Rambutan Masam Village, Muara Tembesi District, Batang Hari Regency, Jambi Province. The purpose of this study is: The Islamic Boarding School Education System in the Era of Modernization (Study of the Nurul Jadid Al Syarif Al Islamy Islamic Boarding School in Rambutan Masam Village, Muara Tembesi District, Batang Hari Regency, Jambi Province). The type of research used is a qualitative-descriptive approach, by describing the form of the Existence of the Islamic Boarding School Education System in the era of modernization. This study uses a purposive sampling technique. Data collection in the form of observation, interviews and documentation with data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the Nurul Jadid Al Syarif Al Islamy Islamic Boarding School still maintains the principles of traditional education based on religion, but also begins to integrate a curriculum that is relevant to the demands of the modern world, such as technology and general science lessons. Thus, this Islamic boarding school is able to adapt and maintain its existence amidst rapid social and technological changes, although challenges in terms of financing, human resources, and facilities still need to be overcome. This study is expected to contribute to the development of an Islamic boarding school education system that is relevant to the needs of the times without ignoring the religious values ​​contained therein.

Abstract

This study discusses the role of the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Institution in increasing da'wah activities in Jambi City, Jambi Province. Da'wah is an important element in strengthening Islamic values ​​and building religious awareness in society. NU, as the largest Islamic organization in Indonesia, has a strategic role in spreading Islamic teachings through various programs and socio-religious activities. By using a qualitative approach to the phenomenological method, this study found that NU's role in increasing da'wah activities was carried out through an emotional approach in interactions with religious and community leaders, consistency in establishing relationships, and implementing socio-religious activities. The obstacles faced include limited human and financial resources, as well as challenges in dealing with differences in the background of community organizations. The results of this study emphasize the importance of strong leadership and effective communication strategies in increasing the effectiveness of NU's da'wah.

Abstract

Ahmadiyah is a heretical sect, however, seeing the rapid development of Ahmadiyah teachings which have spread almost throughout Indonesia, it certainly cannot escape the movement and strategy of da'wah carried out by Ahmadiyah. Therefore, this article aims to find out how the da'wah movements and strategies in the Ahmadiyah organization are. This article is qualitative research using the literature study method. The result of the article is that Ahmadiyah uses several media in its da'wah strategy, namely; (1) Da'wah through written media, (2) Da'wah through organizing, and (3) Da'wah through education. And Ahmadiyah has become an exclusive religious sect due to bullying carried out by society against Ahmadiyah followers in several areas.

Abstract

Nahdlatul Ulama is a socio-religious organization. Founded by the ulama of the 1926 Islamic boarding school in Surabaya, K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari, the founder of nahdlatul ulama, a charismatic kiyai. Through a deeper understanding of the Nahdlatul Ulama da'wah movement, we can explore NU's significant contribution to the formation of the face of Islam in Indonesia and its important role in maintaining inter-religious harmony in the country. The background of the establishment of NU is closely related to the development of religious and political thought in the Islamic world at that time. This study explains the da'wah movement in the organization of nahdlatul ulama which explains how the organization of nahdatul ulama this study uses literature studies taken from various research sources.

Abstract

Nahdlatul Wathan is the largest organization in NTB. This organization was born in Pancor, East Lombok in 1953 AD. His stance was motivated by the rapid development of madrasah branches NWDI (Nahdlatul Wathan Diniyah Islamiyah) and NBDI (Nahdlatul Banat Diniyah Islamiyah). So that an organizational body is needed that oversees the large number of madrasas. This organizational movement moves in three main focuses, namely social, da'wah and education. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method sourced from books related to the organization of Nahdlatul Wathan. The findings in this study are that the success of the da'wah movement is greatly influenced by the methods used and the appropriate response to the local social environment. There are at least four consciousness as a social response that can be seen in the Nahdlatul Wathan organization's da'wah movement: 1). Religious awareness, 2). Awareness of the importance of science, 3). Awareness of organization and society, 4). Awareness as a nation.
