Abstract

Abstract: The Application of TAI Model Using Multimedia in Improving Mathematics Learning about Geometry for the Fifth Grade Students of SD Negeri 2 Krandegan in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The objectives of this collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR)  is to improve Mathematics learning about geometry through the application of TAI model using multimedia. This research was conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of this research were 28 students. Techniques of collecting data were observation, interview, and test. The conclusion of this research is the application of TAI model using multimedia can improve Mathematics learning about geometry for the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Krandegan in the academic year of 2015/2016.Keywords: TAI model, multimedia, learning improvement, geometryAbstrak: Penerapan Tipe TAI dengan Multimedia dalam Peningkatan Pembelajaran Bangun Ruang pada Siswa Kelas V SDN 2 Krandegan Tahun 2015/2016. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subyek pada penelitian ini berjumlah 28 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan tes. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model kooperatif tipe TAI dengan multimedia dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran sifat bangun ruang pada siswa kelas V SDN 2 Krandegan tahun 2015/2016.Kata kunci:Model TAI, multimedia, sifat bangun ruang

Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Contextual Approach Using Concrete Media in Improving Learning about Geometry for the Fifth Grade Students of SD Negeri Gumilir 04 in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The objectives of this research are to improve learning about the characteristics of prism through the application of Contextual Approach using concrete media for the fifth grade students of SD Negeri Gumilir 04 in the academic year of 2015/2016. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN Gumilir 04 tahun ajaran 2015/2016 sebanyak 28 siswa. Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Cooperative Model Using Graphic Media in Improving Social Science Learning for the Fifth Grade Students of SD Negeri Tanjungrejo in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The objectives of this research is to improve social science learning for the fifth grade students. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Visualization, Auditory, and Kinesthetic (VAK) Model Using Multimedia in Improving Reading Skill of Story for the Fifth Grade Students of SD Negeri 1 Kalijirek in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The objectives of this research are to describe the steps on the application of Visualization, Auditory, and Kinesthetic (VAK) model using multimedia in improving reading skill of story for the fifth grade students and to improve reading skill of story for the fifth grade students through the application of Visualization, Auditory, and Kinesthetic (VAK) model using multimedia. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles in two meetings. Each cycle consisted of preparation, delivery, training, and display the result. Subjects of the research were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kalijirek totaling 21 students. The conclusion of this research are: (1) there are four steps on the application of VAK model using multimedia, namely preparation, delivery, training, and display the result and (2) the reading skill of story of the fifth grade students improved after the application of VAK model using multimedia.Keywords: VAK model, multimedia, reading skill of story Abstrak: Penerapan Model VAK dengan Multimedia dalam Peningkatan Keterampilan Menyimak Cerita pada Siswa Kelas V SD. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan model visualization, auditory, kinesthetic (VAK) dengan multimedia dalam peningkatan keterampilan menyimak cerita  pada siswa kelas V SD; serta meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak cerita kelas V SD melalui penerapan model VAK dengan multimedia. Penelitian ini merupakan PTK kolaboratif dan dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus yang setiap siklusnya terdiri atas tahap persiapan, penyampaian, pelatihan, dan penampilan hasil. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V sejumlah 21 siswa. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu: (1) langkah-langkah penerapan model VAK dengan mutimedia terdiri atas empat yaitu: tahap persiapan, penyampaian, pelatihan, dan penampilan hasil; serta (2) keterampilan menyimak cerita siswa kelas V SD mengalami peningkatan setelah menerapkan model VAK dengan multimedia. Kata Kunci: VAK, multimedia, keterampilan menyimak cerita.

Abstract

Abstract: The Implementation of Communicative Approach Using Simulation Model in Improving Skimming Skills in Bahasa Indonesia Subject for the Fifth Grade Students. The objectives of this research are to improve skimming skills of students in Bahasa Indonesia subject about folklore in academic year of 2015/2016 through the implementation of Communicative Approach using simulation modeland to describe steps in the implementation of Communicative Approach using simulation model. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection.Techniques of collecting data were test, observation, and interview. Validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of technique and sources. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The result of this research showed that the implementation of Communicative Approach using simulation model can improve skimming skills of fifth grade students. Keywords: Communicative Approach, simulation, skimming Abstrak:Peningkatan Keterampilan Menyimak melalui Pendekatan Komunikatif dengan Metode Simulasi pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Kelas V.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak siswa pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia tentang cerita rakyat melalui penerapan pendekatan komunikatif dengan metode simulasi danmendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan pendekatan komunikatif dengan metode simulasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratifdan  dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes, observasi dan wawancara. Validasi data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Abstract: The Use of Open Ended Learning Model Using Multimedia in Improving Learning about Geometry for the Fifth Grade Students of SD Negeri 3 Panjer in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The objectives of this research are to improve Mathematics learning about geometry. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Panjer in the academic year of 2015/2016 totaling 15 students. Techniques of collecting data were observation, interview, documentation, and test. The result of this research showed that the use Open Ended Learning model using multimedia through appropriate steps could improve Mathematics learning about geometry for the fifth grade students of SD Negeri 3 Panjer in the academic year of 2015/2016 Keywords: Open Ended Learning, multimedia, Mathematics Abstrak: Penggunaan Model Open Ended Learning dengan Multimedia untuk Meningkatkan Pembelajaran Bangun Ruang Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri 3 Panjer Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Concept Sentence Model Using Puzzle Media in Improving Writing Skills of Descriptive Text for the Fourth Grade Students of SD Negeri Candiwulan in the Academic Year of 2015/2016. The objectives of this research is to improving writing skills of descriptive text. This research is a collaborative classroom action research conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 22 students. The results of this research showed that the application of concept sentence model using puzzle media can improve writing skills of descriptive text. It was proved by the increase of learning outcomes in the first cycle 65.91%, in the second cycle 79.54%, and in the third cycle 93.18%. The conclusion of this research is the application of concept sentence model using puzzle media can improve writing skills of descriptive text for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri Candiwulan. Keywords: Concept Sentence, puzzle media, writing skills Abstrak: Penerapan Model Concept Sentence dengan Media Puzzle dalam Peningkatan keterampilan Menulis Karangan pada Siswa Kelas IV SDN Candiwulan Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 22 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model concept sentence dengan media puzzle dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi. Peningkatan keterampilan menulis karangan dari 65,91% pada siklus I, meningkat menjadi 79,54% pada siklus II dan meningkat lagi menjadi 93,18% pada siklus III. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model concept sentence dengan media puzzle dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis karangan deskripsi siswa kelas IV SDN Candiwulan. Kata kunci: Concept Sentence, Media Puzzle, Keterampilan Menulis

The objectives of this research are to improve Mathematics learning about fraction for the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Gunungmujil. Abstract

Abstract: The Application of Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition (AIR) Using Manipulative Media in Improving Mathematics Learning for the Fifth Grade Students of SD Negeri 4 Tamanwinangun. The objectives of this research is to improve the learning process and learning outcomes of Mathematics learning about fraction. This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 23 students of the fifth grade of SD Negeri 4 Tamanwinangun in the academic year of 2015/2016. Validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of sources and triangulation of technique. Techniques of collecting data were test and non-test. Source of data were derived from students, teacher, researcher and classmates. The result of this research is the application of AIR model using manipulative media can improve Mathematics learning about fraction with minimum completeness criteria of more than 70. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek  penelitian  ini  adalah  siswa  kelas  V SDN  4 Tamanwinangun tahun ajaran 2015/2016 yang berjumlah  23  siswa.  Validasi data menggunakan teknik triangulasi yang berupa triangulasi teknik dan triangulasi sumber. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan non tes. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari siswa, guru, peneliti, dan teman sejawat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) dengan media manipulatif dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran Matematika tentang operasi hitung pecahan dengan KKM ? 70. April 2016.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah penerapan model CTL dengan media muatan, (2) meningkatkan pembelajaran bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Gemeksekti tahun ajaran 2015/2016, (3) menemukan kendala dan solusinya.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Gemeksekti yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Data berasal dari siswa, guru, teman sejawat, dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Validasi data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitatif dan kualitatif, meliputi: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) langkah penerapan model CTL dengan media muatan yang tepat yaitu: (a) konstruktivisme dengan media muatan, (b) bertanya mengenai media muatan, (c) inkuiri melalui media muatan, (d) masyarakat belajar dengan media muatan, (e) pemodelan dengan media muatan, (f) refleksi mengenai media muatan, dan (g) penilaian autentik dengan media muatan, (2)  penerapan model CTL dengan media muatan dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Gemeksekti tahun ajaran 2015/2016, terbukti dengan adanya peningkatan persentase ketuntasan siswa. Pada siklus I = 83,3%, siklus II = 87,4%, dan siklus III = 95,8%, (3) kendala utama dalam penerapan model CTL dengan media muatan yaitu: (a) guru kurang membangkitkan respon siswa untuk bertanya, (b) guru tidak menanyakan kesulitan yang dialami siswa saat sedang menganalisis dan mengkomunikasikan hasil kerjanya, (c) waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk berdiskusi terlalu lama. Adapun solusi dari kendala tersebut yaitu: (a) guru memberikan pertanyaan yang bervariasi untuk membangkitkan respon siswa, (b) guru menanyakan kesulitan yang dialami siswa saat menganalisis dan mengkomunikasikan hasil kerjanya, (c) guru memberi batas waktu agar siswa dalam berdiskusi berlangsung efisien.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah penerapan model CTL dengan media muatan dengan langkah yang tepat dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Gemeksekti tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Kata kunci: model CTL, media muatan, bilangan bulat.      ABSTRACT Siti Rokhmah. THE APPLICATION OF CONTEXTUAL TEACHING AND LEARNING (CTL) MODEL USING LOAD MEDIA IN IMPROVING LEARNING ABOUT INTEGERS FOR THE FOURTH GRADE STUDENTS OF SD NEGERI 2 GEMEKSEKTI IN THE ACADEMIC YEAR OF 2015/2016. April 2016. The objectives of this research are: (1) to describe the steps on the application of CTL using load media, (2) to improve learning about integers for the fourth grade of SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti in the academic year of 2015/2016, and (3) to describe problems and solutions.This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted within three cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Subjects of the research were 24 students of the fourth grade of SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti. Source of data were derived from students, teachers, classmates, and document. Techniques of collecting data were observation, interview, documentation, and test. Validity of data in this research was analyzed using triangulation of sources and triangulation of technique. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis consisting of data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion or verification.The results of this research showed that: (1) the steps of CTL model using load media, namely: (a) construct using load media, (b) ask about load media, (c) inquiry using load media, (d) learning society using load media, (e) modeling using load media, (f) reflection of load media; and (g) authentic assessment using load media; (2) the application of CTL using load media can improve learning about integers for the fourth grade of SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti in the academic year of 2015/2016. It was proved by the increase of learning outcomes in the first cycle 83.3%, in the second cycle 87.4%, and in the third cycle 95.8%; (3) the problems encountered in the learning, namely: (a) the teacher lacks in encouraging students? response to ask questions, (b) the teacher do not ask for difficulties experienced by students when analyzing and communicating their work, (c) the time needed to discuss is too long. Solutions for these problems are: (a) the teacher gives varies questions to raise students' responses, (b) the teacher asks the difficulties experienced by students when analyzing and communicating their work, (c) the teacher gives time limit so that the students discuss efficiently.The application of CTL using load media can improve learning about integers for the fourth grade of SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti in the academic year of 2015/2016. Keywords: CTL model, load media, integersSiti Rokhmah. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Gemeksekti yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Sumber data berasal dari siswa, guru, teman sejawat, dan dokumen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan nontes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan model CTL dengan media muatan dapat meningkatkan pembelajaran bilangan bulat pada siswa kelas IV SDN 2 Gemeksekti tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Kata kunci: model CTL, media muatan, bilangan bulat.
