Abstract

PT Excelitas is a company located in the batamindo area that produces light detectors or often called sensors. However, even though the excelitas company has made efforts to run an adequate work area, there are still work areas that need to be improved, such as the epoxy mixing cabinet work area, which has no shelves to tidy up tools and machines and no safety cover on the machine so that operators who carry out the epoxy mixing process can be exposed to epoxy splashes, so that it can cause inconvenience to operators who carry out production activities in the area because they can be exposed to epoxy splashes during the epoxy mixing process. To determine the results of the redesign that will be applied, this study uses the NIDA method, namely Need, determining the needs of the epoxy mixing cabinet, idea, idea to solve the problem of the epoxy mixing cabinet, decision to make a decision on the design of the epoxy mixing cabinet, and action, namely making a prototype design of the epoxy mixing cabinet by redesigning the safety cover and storage rack of the epoxy mixing cabinet. With the redesign of the safety cover on the epoxy mixing machine, operators who operate epoxy mixing are no longer exposed to epoxy splashes that come out during the epoxy mixing process and storage shelves that function to store tools during the epoxy mixing process.

Abstract

Employees work standing and chairs without backrests with repetitive leg and hand movements during work with a normal 8-hour period. Production machines and seats are designed without taking into account the anthropometry of workers, anthropometry is needed in the design of tools and work equipment. The purpose of anthropometry in designing tools and equipment is to make harmony between humans and work systems, so that labor can work comfortably. So that workers must adjust themselves at work conditions like this force workers to always be in an unergonomic attitude and work position that lasts a long time. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of work fatigue, determine the risk factors of musculoskeletal disorders (Msds) and determine the effect of Work Fatigue on Complaints of Musculoskeletal Disorders (Msds) in Female Workers. The method used is simple regression analysis, work fatigue is measured using the IFRC (international fatigue research committee of japan association of industrial health) method and complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (Msds) are measured using the Nordic body map (NBM) method. The results showed there is an influence between job fatigue and musculoskeletal disorders (Msds) complaints in female workers at PT Amtek Plastic Batam.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze differences in consumer preferences in determining the quality and attitudes of consumers towards vape attributes in the city of Batam. The research was conducted in Batam Kota sub-district in June 2023. The method in this study uses a survey method with interviews based on a list of questions on a questionnaire. The sample was determined by random sampling method with 168 samples. The analysis used in the research is Chi Square analysis and Fishbein Multi-attribute. Chi Square analysis shows that apart from the comparison between prices below three hundred thousand rupiahs and between three hundred thousand rupiahs to seven hundred and fifty thousand rupiahs there is a difference of 95% confidence level. This means that there are differences in consumer preferences on vape. Multi-attribute Fishbein analysis shows that there are three attributes that get good consideration and two attributes get sufficient consideration in determining the quality of vape. The order of vape attributes from the highest consideration to the lowest consideration in determining vape quality is the availability of spare parts, product design, battery life, brand and price.

Abstract

In order for sales transaction data to be useful and useful, data development or data mining methods are needed, especially in the use of the apriori association rule algorithm, in utilizing sales transaction data obtained from items purchased simultaneously by consumers when shopping. The data is used to find out items that are often purchased by consumers to increase their stock and reduce the stocking of goods that are not selling well. The data is also used by the store in arranging the placement of goods according to consumer behavior when shopping. Data retrieval with association rule is done through a mechanism with a minimum support of 0.17 and a minimum confidence of 0.60. The purpose of this study is to determine the results of analyzing transaction data that accumulates in clothing stores into useful information and to find out what items are bought simultaneously by consumers at clothing stores to manage inventory and can make it easier to arrange the placement of goods according to consumer interests based on the value of support and confidence. From the results of this study, items that have a relationship are Women's Tops and Men's Tops with a support value of 27.86% and a confidence value of 68.00%. This information can also be used to find out what items are in great demand and less in demand by consumers in determining what stock procurement should be prioritized in the future.

Abstract

Technological advancements continue to progress rapidly, allowing experts to enhance their knowledge across various industries, including health, network security, and others. PT Air Batam Hulu is a water company situated at Building A-WTP Moya Muka Kuning Jl. Letjend Supranto in Batam, responsible for managing the security of drinking water. However, the company's existing system is susceptible to data security breaches due to unauthorized hacking attempts. In addition, computer network systems face both physical and logical threats, such as Sniffer, Spoofing, Preaking, Remote Attack, Hole, Hacker, Cracker, and more. Among the current successful hacking attempts, UML sites, Malware, Trojans, Viruses, and port scanning are commonly encountered. To address security concerns, the company implements a security system called "port knocking," which involves opening or closing access to specific ports through the use of a firewall on network devices. This system works by sending certain packets or connections, including TCP, UDP, and ICMP protocols. To gain access to restricted ports, users are required to perform a "knocking" action by inputting the necessary rule beforehand. This ensures that only authorized users can access and use specific ports, enhancing data security and reducing the risk of unauthorized infiltration.

Abstract

Technological advances today can be exploited to process data into more useful information. In data collection, information collection is especially useful to maximize profits and develop marketing strategies. One way to increase profits is by using data mining techniques to help business actors in making decisions about stocks, increased profits and more. The Matahari Department Store is the largest retail platform in Indonesia, one of the retail stores located in Batam is the Matahari Department store Nagoya Hill Batam. The transaction data on the store that is still processed does not use a method that causes the processing of product sales data to be less effective and less efficient. Seeing from the number of transactions, a system is needed to predict the sale of the best-selling product as long as it can determine the correct stock for the products sold and can increase the profit, sale and purchase of the product. This research was conducted with the aim of applying data mining methods using the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm to select the best-selling products in the outlet of the Matahari Nagoya Hill Batam Department Store. By using the collected sales data, the system is expected to increase profits steadily and avoid shortages of product stocks. Through analysis using the Naive Bayes Classifier method, the study achieved an accuracy of 67% and obtained a bag sales result to be the best-selling sale during January 2023 through March 2023 with a sales percentage of 20%.

Abstract

Attendance is an important factor for an institution, especially in the field of education, in order to achieve goals related to student discipline.There are many ways to improve the attendance information system to make it better, one of which is by using computer technology through a website-based integrated attendance system. At the MSI Imadun Ghoffar Batam school, currently they still use the manual method in the attendance system, namely by recording student attendance using a book. This method is less efficient because if the attendance book is lost or exposed to water, it will inconvenience the school and harm students. In addition, the risk of errors and loss of attendance data is also greater.Based on the problems above, we have created an attendance system at MSI Imadun Ghoffar that is integrated web-based. This system is used by parents and homeroom teachers respectively. The research method used in data collection is research and library methods. Software development uses the waterfall method. By using an integrated web-based attendance system, the attendance process, data search, and attendance recap calculations are made easier and also minimize loss and errors in recording attendance data.

Abstract

One of the businesses that has currently penetrated the market is the laundry business. With a sizable income, the laundry business is increasingly in demand by many people as a main or side business. Viky Laundry is one of the laundry places that has customers every day considering its strategic location, which is near residential areas. Unfortunately, in the process, Viky Laundry still uses manual methods without using a computer system as a tool. Therefore, research was conducted to design an Android-based laundry service application that is more effective and provides time efficiency for the laundry shuttle process, records incoming and outgoing clothes, and provides information about Viky Laundry itself. The research methods used include literature study, interviews, design and testing. The software development model used in this research is the Extreme Programming (XP) method. The technology used, then produced an application where customers easily and practically do the laundry process and laundry owners will more easily receive orders from customers. And for laundry entrepreneurs also with the existence of this application helps in recording incoming and outgoing clothes. Based on the results of interviews, and black box testing, the application made is quite helpful for laundry entrepreneurs and laundry customers.

Abstract

Along with technological developments, market developments are also increasing rapidly and competition is starting to occur between entrepreneurs and business people, which requires entrepreneurs to take advantage of existing technology. At this time the Universal Homeware Store does not realize that this data can be processed effectively to find out the development of a business or business that is being run, besides that the procurement of goods that customers need is often unavailable. One of the data processing technologies is by applying data mining. Data mining is a form of extracting information from data that is large enough to obtain data patterns so as to produce information data that is useful for making decisions and increasing profits in developing marketing strategies. One of the uses of data mining is using the Naive Bayes Classifier algorithm. Naive Bayes Classifier is one of the existing algorithms in data mining which is used to deal with uncertainty problems by emphasizing the concept of probability of use and measuring the level of accuracy so that it can predict purchasing strategies from past sales analysis. with research results Using 36 data and with rapid minner tools produces an accuracy value of 80%

Abstract

Transportation is an important means to support daily activities and operations, be it private transportation or public transportation. This study will analyze the level of customer satisfaction as a public vehicle user, in this case the author utilizes data on customers who use and utilize the gojek application as a means of transportation, using a questionnaire data collection technique, the writer will determine client satisfaction levels using the variables Tangible, Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy. The analytical Data mining with the is a technique employed in this investigation. concept of the Algorithm C4.5 classification which can show the results of the highest Entrophy and gain values modeled as a decision tree with the aim that the results obtained can be a guide for gojek partners to service and increase customers. Considering the outcomes of the classicization It is demonstrated by the C4.5 algorithm that the accuracy achieves 75.33% where the factors that become the assessment of satisfaction are Tangible, Reliability.
